Hi, I have the Beam Gen 2. I’ve found that TV dialogue is easier to understand than without it. However, movie dialogue can be difficult to understand depending on the streaming service (Amazon, Netflix, etc) and the movie itself. I'm using the Speech Enhancement option. Not sure if it is helping.  I’m wondering what Sonos product I should add to enhance dialogue as this is my primary goal. My room is around 12 x 12. And the TV is the LG 55” OLED C2. Would love some suggestions on this, thanks! 

Hey, First post, so please be gentle…..So please let me paint the picture…We just moved into a house with a connect amp and 2 sonance ceiling speakers which i wanted to use as surrounds to the Playbar we mounted under the Samsung Frame TVCurrently, this is wired as follows:Ethernet to Connect Amp from RouterEthernet from Connect Amp to PlaybarFibre optic from Frame TV control box to Playbar.Current situation is the following:Playbar works with both TV and streaming music all ok.Surrounds work but only when streaming music, nothing when watching TV. I would really appreciate some help with this please. Thanks, Martin 

When I installed my new Sonos Beam gen 2 it ended up in a separate group (vardagsrum2) from my two existing Play3 speakers that are in the group "vardagsrum". I can activate both groups at the same tme when I want to listen to music in the Sonos app, but I have not found a way to activate all the speakers in the two groups at the same time when  I use the TV. How can  I fix this annoying problem? I seem to be getting the same problem with arplay2 (works only with the beam).

My current Sonos theater set up is - ArcEra 300 surroundsSub Gen 1 My question is this- is there any real need/reason to upgrade to Sub Gen 3?   

Ok I am having a weird issue here.  I have a sonos arc, sub, and amp. Sonos arc and sub are connected via wifi.  I have an amp located the media closet that is hard wired to my network and it’s connected to in ceiling speakers When I try to use the amp as surround, it doesn’t not work.  I tried changing music to full and increasing the volume but no luck. If I remove the amp as surrounds, I can easily connect to it and play music, no issue. I have tried to swap the amp, swap the arc, and even restart the network multiple times but no luck  Any idea whats going on and how to fix this?

So sound is cutting in and out constanly while streaming music or watching tv. The system has been in place for years with no changes.The internet is strong and stable. Sonos support was contacted months ago when the problem first started, they ran diagnostics and found no issues, but suggested a new device nearby could be causing interferance with the net work.There are no new devices nearby, i live on a rural propery with no other houses within 150m. A factory reset of all compents fixed the problem last time, but a few months later its back! Would anyone have an idea of what the issue could be?Or am i destined to factory reset every now and again!

I’m trying to get the Atmos sound going thru my Sonos system. I have an Arc and era300 rear speakers, but all I’m getting is Dolby Digital 5.1.  The Epson doesn’t have eArc just Arc.  Is this going to prevent me from getting Atmos sound out of the system?  I’ve connected the Epson arc output (hdmi2) to the Sonos soundbar and the Apple tv to the hdmi1. I’ve turned on the Arc setting in the Epson settings for hdmi2.  I’m still just getting Dolby Digital 5.1 even though I know I’m sending an Atmos signal from the AppleTv??  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  

Curious if anyone has setup 3 ARC’s in an LCR configuration and / or if it’s possible 

Hi,Do you have the same problem?My system consists of the Arc SL soundbar, a gen 3 sub and two rear era 300s as a stereo pair.All recent films on Netflix 2015 and above, the voices are not clear, like muffled. I notice that older films, 90s early 2000s no problem, the voices are clear. However, I activated background noise reduction in the Sonos apps on the TV control, I tried several settings, but I still have the same problem. The voices are really not clear. I have to point out that my Sony 4k TV does not have an eArc HDMI, but only Arc, but I don't think that's the problem.Help needed please, thanks!

I have had this setup for a little under 2 years,  all of a sudden tv keeps dropping the connection and going back to tv speaker.  Using the cable that came with it,  changed to new cable,  checked all other devices for cec no luck.   Only way to get it back is unplug it from the power and back in. I ran a diagnostic 557311022. 

We have a Sound Bar on one TV and Roams, One's etc everywhere.  Very happy.  In our lounge we have an outdated B&O AV receiver, woofers, tweeters, cables everywhere, giving us 5.1 surround.  I am looking at updating this to Sonos also.  I think the Arc is what I'm after, but what other bits do I need to replicate the current 5.1 surround, or better?    Thanks, Kate

My sonos arc is switching from earc to hdmi and back constantly the last days. I don’t understand why. The sound gets muted when switching, and it does it rapidly. How can I fix this? I’m using the original HDMI cable with a 2022 Samsung tv

I have the Sonos Arc connected to a Sony A90J TV. I used to see a screen saver when I switched to the HDMI3 Arc/eArc input the Arc is connected to but now I receive a no signal message. I restarted the TV, unplugged the HDMI cable on both ends but still no screen saver. Any ideas? The soundbar is still playing audio from the TV.

I have a pair of Sonos ARC 300s and a Gen 2 sub in a Garden room (well more like a Shed really!).  I have tried Apple Spatial music through these and, whilst I sounds great, I was not blown away. In my lounge I have a Playbase and two Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers as surrounds.  I rarely listen to music with this set up as I don’t like the sound.  I have tried both Full and Ambient music settings and they are not for me.  So if I want to listen to Music I go to the Cabin.  It was -2C in there yesterday! I recently received an Apple TV box from a friend who was not using it, and have connected it up to my TV/Playbase.  Works well.Anyway I thought I’d set up the Apple Music app on the Apple TV box just to check it worked.  Out of curiosity I thought I’d check to see how spatial Audio sounded on this Non Atmos set up. WOW, just WOW.  The Spatial tracks come alive. I am running into issues when setting up two separate surround sound zones. Zone 1 (Great Room) - playbar, sub, connect:amp for 2 rear (non-Sonos) speakers. Zone 2 (Basement) - playbar, sub, connect:amp for 2 rear (non-Sonos) speakers. Currently, for Zone 1 there is one ethernet cable which runs from the Shaw router to the amp and a second ethernet cable which runs from the amp to the playbar. It’s same case for Zone 2 - one ethernet cable which runs from the Shaw router to the amp and a second ethernet cable which runs from the amp to the playbar.Zone 1 works perfectly fine until connecting Zone 2’s ethernet cable to the Shaw router; once connected, the sound in Zone 1 cuts in and out. Why would this be? 

Good morning,I would like to know if there is a way to connect my Sonos Arc (already connected wirelessly to a TV)  to a conventional amplifier (Cambridge CXA80, wired to conventional speakers) in a way that I can play music (i.e. from a digital source such a NAS) to simultaneously the wired speakers and the Sonos Arc.Thank you!

Hi, all,My main remote controller (the Google one from Chromecast with Google TV) is suddenly skipping volume levels.My setup:Hisense TV + Beam Gen 2 + IKEA Symfonisk as rear speakers. Beam connected via HDMI ARC and with CEC enabled everywhere.Since December I have an issue, where my Chromecast remote controller is skipping volume levels. It’s almost always my main ones that it skips (around level 12). It usually goes by 2 levels per button press (that’s normal), but sometimes it skips by 4-8 for no reason. Why is it so? Other means of volume settings work fine (hardware buttons on Symfonisks or Beam, app control, even the TV controller is fine). I tried disabling the remote controller in Chromecast, but it didn’t worked. Can’t add it via app, since it is not IR controller - works automatically via CEC. What else should I consider? Thanks in advance.

Help needed with my Sonos Ray, and apologies for the long post….Here’s what I have in terms of Tv/connected devices: the main bugbear is to be able to control the Ray’s volume with a TV remote, which seems impossible at the moment.I have a JVC Smart TV, model LT43CA790c. Connected to the HDMI 2(ARC) is a Tv Firestick, connected to HDMI 1 is a Virgin (Tivo) box, and the ray is connected via the supplied Optical cable.In terms of set up, I have the TV’s audio output set to external audio , with the TV speakers off. The supplied JVC TV remote seems not to be an Infrared type as it won’t pair with the Ray, nor control the sound. Can someone recommend a universal remote that will work? Questions:1.do I have the devices connected to the best inputs? Ignoring the Ray for a moment, there is a distinct drop in volume when using the Virgin box when compared to the Firestick (which is connected to the HDMI(ARC) input.2 When I use the R

i have recently purchased a Sonos Arc, Sub and Era 300 speakers for my livng room TV, which is a Sony XR6509J. i am now unable to listen through my wireless headphones. The headphones connect to the Optical Output from the TV. When I change the Audio Output to TV Speakers, to enable me to listen thriugh my headphones, the TV automatically defaults  back to Audio System, rendering my headphones useless. Prior to Sonos, I had an AV Receiver and speaker system.  I could simply mute the sound from the tv and listen through the headphones when I turned them on. Can anyone assist?

.: Greetings. I’ve had a Sonos Arc SL and two Sonos One SL speakers for 1-2 years now. When I watch cable or streaming services, I always heard full surround sound. Then a couple of days ago, the One speakers stopped broadcasting any sound at all. I searched for solutions on the Interwebs and nothing I found solved the problem. Then I tried the Factory Reset, and used TruePlay to configure the surround sound in my living room. Everything sounded good with Trueplay having reconfigured the One SL speakers.Then I tried various shows on Netflix, Prime, Apple TV+, etc., and no sound came out of the One SL speakers.One other note: Up until a couple days ago, when I muted the sound on my flat-screen tv, the lights on the top of the One SL speakers would turn green. Now when I do it, they remain white.I am at a loss. I have no idea what else to try and no idea what to do now. If anyone has an idea that might solve this, please let me know. This is SO frustrating. Thank

My power was out for less than a minute last night. When sony tv turned itself back on, there was no longer any sound. I cannot easily access the back of the tv or the sonos bar bc they are hung. Is there an easy way for me to fix this problem?   

I have Arc/ sub and 2 Era 300s as surrounds, I was trying dolby 7.1.4 speakers test file on xbox series x and nvidia shield all the speakers working except the front and rear upward firing speakers on Arc and Era 300s. I removed Era 300s as surrounds and paired them again with Arc that solves the issue. But again today I tried the same file and same issue no upward firing speaker working, tried the unpairing and pairing again makes them work. Does anyone else having this issue?

I just took beam 2 plus sub mini with 2 was 300. The 300’s of surround sound did not have the central speaker active and therefore any dialogue is not played by them. Really disappointing result. You have suggestions? Thank you t

I know this has been asked a lot of times before but I can't seem to find a fix.All seem to be disconnecting at random intervals and it's becoming quite frustrating.Any fix that will actually work?

Hi all,I recently bought a Beam (Gen 2) and think it sounds great.However, I was watching a Blu-ray on an Xbox One S (the previous gen Xbox) and the Atmos sound is skipping or stuttering occasionally (and I can tell as the “Dolby Atmos via sound bar” label will pop up on the top right of the screen).I tested this with Disney+ and had no issues with the Atmos sound when watching content this way. So I am assuming this is something to do with old Xbox tech, but any thoughts are appreciated.I have this LG TV. My TV and Xbox are up-to-date. I have already unplugged everything.Thanks.
