Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi, I am just about to download sonopad and wondered if it has the same capability as the old sonos app? Ie room selection, grouping rooms etc.

Just bought a brand new Move2 and it’s not connecting to my iPhone.I’ve been following the instructions but it still won’t recognize my device.

I have deleted and reinstalled my arc and sub, reset the router and after a little while my arc looses connection to my WiFi so no Sonos or  Alexa will work.

Hello- I got a new router and as a result have a new network name and password. I did a factory reset in my Sonos One SL and tried to reconfigure it to the new WiFi network. I was able to get through the setup process and was told it was “connected” but then the app showed “no devices available”.I then tried doing the setup via Ethernet and that was successful. I am currently listening to it. However, I want to get it on my WiFi network. In the iOS app, I went to Manage > Network > Manage Networks > Update Networks and got the following message: “No products found. Make sure you’re standing near the product and that your battery powered products are on and awake.”I am about 2 feet from the speaker.any advice would be appreciated!

I purchased a Crown cdi4000 amp to use for an outdoor 70v speaker setup.  (link). Apologies if this is a basic question, but was wondering if anyone has ever set one of these up with a port and had advice for how to do so?  I’m wondering:Can I get a single RCA to Phoenix connector like this one, hook it to the digital port on the Sonos and then run it to a single channel on the amp? Or do I need two of those - one for each analog channel - to hook up to the two channels on the amp.  (in which case I’d use the bridge output to bridge the channels together)Any advice? Thanks in advance!

System consists of a Samsung TV using eARC output directly connected to Beam2 with a pair of Ones as surrounds and a miniSub using wifi. All was working, NO issues.Replaced Beam2 with Arc now NOTHING works. Samsung doesnt even see the Arc as a connected eARC speaker like the Beam 2 did?! I have the Arc connected to wifi but TV does not pass through sound also the mini-Sub and surrounds went missing?!The NEW Sonos app SUCKS as it’s NOT intuitive at all! Any suggestions as to tricks to make it work?? Thank you all!  

Hello everyone. First time here seeking answers. I have a Sonos amp with a gen3 sub. Can't seem to keep the sub to stay connected to amp. When I can  get to connect, I check for system updates and it states everything is up to date. WiFi Connection is strong in other components throughout the home and their isn't any other components that use WiFi near the sub. Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

My music library disappeared from my Sonos apps. When I try to add it back using the desktop app, I get the error message “unable to add the shared folder (913)”Chat support told me this was something to with the new security settings on the “upgraded” Sonos app and to call phone support but there is currently a 30 minute wait.Does anybody have any advice? Thanks

Hi There,Not sure if anyone here has this issue, I have an Arc and a Sub, the Sub constantly disappears from the app and I have to either factory reset it or reboot my router. When I reboot my router, it re-appears and works as normal and after a few hours it just disconnects again. Sometimes is gone-gone. Sometimes the app just says “Sub - Not Connected”. I had a hard time reaching support over the phone and when I finally got a hold of someone, the guy asked for my diagnostic and he said the only fix is to hardwire the Arc and the Sub directly to my router, I told him that my router is upstairs and I also have access point across the room, he then said, that is your issue, your wifi is bad and the only fix is to hardwire!!! I’m an IT guy and tried to explained him that this was not the case, I have great wifi coverage and… Sonos is all about WiFi, it is ridiculous that his fix is to hardwire the system. The arc doesn’t have any issue, I have several speakers around the house without

Message says Playbar added but may not appear in your system. Tells me to go to finish setup in system settings, starts all over and goes in circles.I have done the system reset numerous times and goes all the way through the set up and ends with that message. When I open app speaker is not an option to use after doing this I’ve and over. Haven’t used with app since I got a new phone.  Speaker was working (watched a movie) ½ before I decided to install app again.Thanks ahead of time.   

When I try to save my queue as a playlist, I get the error message “unable to save the playlist”. The playlist has about 9300 tracks which, as I understand, is well below the limit.I am using the S1 desktop app. Chat support told me to call phone support but there is currently a 30 minute wait time!!!Any suggestions?

No logical reason for it to stop working as no changes to any other equipment. Beam will not connect to Sonos app or Spotify app on iphone. Stuck on searching for nearby products and can’t find it. I have done the following with no success:did a factory reset - it found it briefly then it dropped off again rebooted WIFI router rebooted iphone uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos app on iphone.Any other suggestionsThanks

The on/off switch button has disappeared.  I can see something inside the box of the speaker, but I can’t get hold of it.  Anyone have this problem.  Is this just shoddy engineering or what?  Can I get a new one?  Speaker isn’t of much use if you can’t turn it off or on.  Right now it’s stuck in the on position.

I have rebooted the Play 1. The app goes through the process. Then it says that my player may not show in my settings. To unplug and plug the speaker back in. It says I should be able to finish the process then. I have done this but the app doesn’t prompt me to finish the process. 

When I saw the Sonos ace I thought that my search for a reliable set up for looking the tv with my wife while my son is sleeping was over... I could put away dual Bluetooth pairing, crap device that only works In stereo that force me to change every time the setting since the audio stream is silent over spdif... A nightmare… Then I researched and I found out that the Sonos ace can only be paired one at a time to the wifi with Sonos arc to listen to tv and that was a bummer… If it possible I would like to make a feature request to make possible to use two Sonos ace at a time with Sonos arc so I can watch tv with my wife while my children are sleeping in the evening.I would buy immediately 2 of these headset even 3:) Please

I want to buy a ROAM and use it with my 6 other speakers, most of them older so I use S1 not S2. (I think all but 1 are compatible with S2 but I use S1 to get that 6th speaker working.) anyway, would like to add the ROAM (as a 7th speaker) but think it can only be used on S2. So I’d have two apps open at same time (huh?) and they’d be playing different music, right? Want 1 more speaker that I can ‘roam’ with while my other 6 are playing. Will this be possible OR will I have to move my 5 speakers over to S2 plus at the Roam to make 6 only?  

Hi,I have had a Beam for a few years and initially it seemed to work fine with my then very old Sony television. It went unused a while and then I acquired a newish Sony tv and thought I would make use of it again.  i connected it to my Apple TV and it is easily selectable as an Airplay receiver and works fine. The issue was when watching broadcast tv, or content from my Amazon stick - the tv would not recognise it and the app - which is a horrible thing to use - could not recognise the tv.  Now acquired another newish tv, a Samsung, connected via the one Arc port but exactly the same issue as with the Sony while working fine when used via the Apple TV.  I’m quite annoyed at the time I have spent on this just to achieve a simple goal of my Beam working in whatever mode I need it to. It should surely be a lot more plug and play? Any advice very welcome  Thanks, Craig        

Since yesterday I am unable to connect with my Deezer account through the S2 app. I’ve tried deleting the service and adding it back in with no luck. The Deezer app itself works fine as does playing music in it it’s simply trying to get sonos to connect that fails.  Has anyone run into this issue recently and been able to correct it? Sonos helpline is running with an hour wait time so I thought I’d try here  cheers

Where is the link to get the old sonos S2 app installed using apkmirror? I need to do a downgrade with a One (Gen 2). I will be using my sister’s Android tablet for this.

The configuration disappear after 2 days. for example I configurate : tweeteer 4 bass 1 and  true play but after a couple days everything is reset again. why that? Someone that has the same problem?   

I noticed that “Add to End of Queue” now appears in the context menu when browsing my music library, along with “Replace Queue”.  However. selecting “Add to End...” always fails and displays the message, “”Unable to add to end of queue”.  Note that “Replace Queue” does seem to work properly with my music library. On another note, editing my home screen to remove “Pinned Collections” that were created in the old controller are only temporarily deleted when I edit the home screen.  Closing the app and reopening it restore these collections (which are all podcasts).I wanted to make sure these were documented as a bugs, and not considered fixed.  I’m on controller version 80.04.05-release+20240702

Whenever I play music on my speaker number 5 it crackles

Qobuz “playlists” section no longer shows chosen playlists. It’s just blank in the new app.
