I just updated to your new app and it broke my connection to our SiriusXM account. I went through the reauthorization process for the SXM account and I got a thumbs up from them saying that I could play SXM on my Sonos. However, when I go back to the Sonos app, it says that the reauthorization has failed and I cannot play SXM on my devices anymore. Everything was working fine yesterday, but doesn’t work today.Total crap on your App’s quality control team!! This code should never have been released. Roll back to the old app as you can see tons of people are having problems with the new App.
Nicht einmal das Hilfe Forum funktioniert. SONOS hat sich selbst beerdigt. Glückwunsch Moderator Note - Translation by Google: Not even the help forum works. SONOS has buried itself. congratulations
Looking for a CD player. Not to sure about the Brennan one even tho it appears to connect straight to SonosLike the look of Dennon but it has the HEOS system. Will Sonos connect to this ?Thanks
Sonos new app missing most features that were available in prior app versionYou released a buggy new app version, removing crucial features and rendering it useless, even breaking my Sonos System. Despite promises of better ultimate listening experience, you're only planning to reintroduce these features later as if they're new and per your support staff this was actually planned to remove features and provide them back with later updates. This decision is inexcusable. Let me know when my Sonos system will work again because your new app is useless. How did you decide what features are important enough to bring back in the updates in your new Sonos app. Just curious which ones you think are important to your customers. I mean we pay for the products so maybe we should have had a voice.
When using the updated app I can no longer find the “play” or “shuffle” feature when using the queue?
Hello. Before I updated my Sonos app last week, each song in my entire Apple Music library was able to be placed into my Sonos playing queue at once simply by pressing a prompt icon that selected for this option. I now seem to have lost this ability, and unless I singly manually place each of the ~7,000 songs into the queue (or create a new playlist and do the same), I cannot play my entire music library. (I shuffle my songs while I’m house cleaning .) Can anyone please help? Thank you in advance.
Can we have the old app back please.?It was fine as it was. I do not care for this version. I can not add songs into my playlist. I am not happy.
I have what seems to be good news. I'm running version 16.1 of the Sonos app and have had "App Updates" turned off on several Ipads since May 1st. I also have "Update Automatically" in the "System Update" tab of the app turned off. Today, I checked the App Store for updates and found a few apps to update, but the Sonos app wasn't one of them. If this continues, I can "update all" instead of selecting each app update separately. Of course, I would spot check for Sonos first.Has anyone else experienced this, or was I just lucky today?
The app is awful and unintuitive. I've lost the connection my my music stored on My Cloud Home' any ideas how to get it back. Old app was fine. New app is a piece of cr£p!
Is there a plan in the future for Sonos to increase the 10,000 track limit on playlists? In the past year or so when I have been getting on line support, they have told me that they are working on increasing that number. Has anyone else heard that desired improvement? Most people I know have more than 10,000 tracks in their playlists. Would be a nice feature if you could add specific playlists to sonos. But it seems like it is all or nothing.
I want to downgrade immediately from this rubbish app. It makes my complete system useless. how can we downgrade please!!!
New app is crap ! Why change something that is working? Iv had nothing but problems since I downloaded loaded it ! come on Sonos get your act together, sort it out !Mick R😡😡😡
I purchased a refurbished Sonos One SL directly from Sonos. The new speaker arrived on 5/3, but I was not able to connect the speaker to my Sonos system. I called Sonos support the same day and worked with a technician to determine that the “infinity button” was not working and the speaker was defective and needed to be replaced. The technician was not able to generate a return request because of “system problems” but he assured me I would hear back from the “Return team” within 24-48 hours. Since then, I have contacted support twice more and both time I was told that my case had been escalated and I would hear from the “Return team” in 24-48 hours and that there was nothing else the technical support team could do to assist me. Unfortunately, I have not received any instructions on how to return the defective speaker and have invested 5-10 hours waiting on hold, talking with support, etc. I find it strange that a premium brand like Sonos is unable to handle a routine task like proces
Simple question. The new app seems to have lost so much functionality and is no longer intuitive. I did not consider myself in the backwaters regarding IT and digital and I am an avid Sonos user. However, I cannot believe that this was released with so many challenges still to be worked through. Is there to be further work done on this to simplify its use.
App automatically upgraded and I now cannot access free Sonos radio content .i have repeatedly tried to re authorise my account but to no avail what a shambles for a premium product you would expect a well tested and premium app and yet again we have not got that whilst I like the speakers the updates to the app are second rate to say the least any ideas as to how I resolve radio issue
HelloThe new Sonos app update hit me unexpectedlyVery disappointed, very non-intuitiveFor starter, anyone know how to go back to old app which is much more user friendly? On this new app, the music keeps shutting off after a few songs. Is there a hidden song limit or time limit? I'm pulling off Spotify. Thanks
I don’t use the alarm function. If I update the app on the one iOS device where I’ve already updated to keep that one up to date, will this mess up the older app on my other iOS devices where I haven’t updated? I’d like to be able to keep the other devices from being updated as long as possible, so I can still control my system, while monitoring the progress of the new app on the one device.i’m thinking there will be a problem because this update involves a firmware update. However, wondering if anyone has actually tried this and, if so, what happened?
One thing you can say about the new app debacle is that there has probably never been such passionate and intense engagement by the use community.
How do I return my 13 speakers for a refund? The new app is horrible. I don’t care about the alarm, queues, or platforms. What good is that IF the App does not work. I can’t control the speakers. They are slow and clunky. At times the app is non responsive. The soundbar for tv is not recognizable. Tv controls are gone. I can’t use the system. I WILL ONLY KEEP MY SYSTEM IF THERE IS S NON APP BASED WAY TO CONTROL THE SYSTEM.
Why is Sonos not letting me update my music library to the new app from my Mac desktop
Why does my crappy Sonos constantly disconnect three or four times every day!?!?! I’ve checked my intern and WiFi, there’s no problem. It’s Sonos that is *****!! Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
I have been trying to figure out what had happened to my setup with Play1, Mini Sub and Playbar… and have discovered a community who are feeling as I do. It is unfortunate that we were made to be an experiment and have our ‘sound’ lives turned upside down. I am not the “teckiest” but can get by….but this latest blunder is going to be a week’s worth of devotion to try and figure out how to fix it. After reading some of the comments, I have deleted the new app from my iPhone and will delete it from my iPad….my laptop has the old SONOS app on it….so I will keep it and try to muddle through until SONOS decides that their timeline is effective in fixing all of the issues that they have bestowed upon their customer base. I am seriously thinking of jumping ship .. very bad, very unprofessional...just so odd why SONOS would do this without first testing it….
Why did you do this,I consider another system right now,it is terrible, all changed, no connection.****!!! Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
After disappointment with being unable to connect my £500 Move 2 and bracket to my app and existing whole house Sonos system i am trying to return. printed off labels packed back in box however the instructions given and illustrations do not match the UPS form so how on earth do i return? can I just stick label on boxes and take to UPS store?
I have purchased 6 ROAMs over the past couple of years. 3 of them have completely died and not rechargeable. I was able to speak to customer support before the app change and have had one replaced. I am trying to get the other 2 replaced but cannot get through to support. Wait times over the past few days have been 145 minutes, 75 minutes, 80 minutes, and 60 minutes. The Live Chat is mostly unavailable. The one time I got a live person, they ended the chat mid chat and no I didn’t go idle for 5 minutes. The one time I waited 75 minutes and got a person, they disconnected me after 3 minutes of conversation. Please let me know when you have time to help me. Thanks
