No way will I buy this new Sonos product, probably the headphones. Sonos cant get it together these days. Lost faith in them and at this point, wouldn’t recommend Sonos to anyone.

Likewise, the disastrous new app means I'll not be buying anything else Sonos.
I mean they might sell about 5.
Perhaps they should delay its release until the app is functional…. Oh wait sorry they don’t delay anything even if it doesn’t work
Funny I think the most requested product is s2 rollback or fixed new app.

Quite, so I am surprised to see this date, I thought it was a June launch.
I wonder how much the reviewers will reference the farce that surrounds the new app.
Sonos Headphones and then a fixed new Sonos App for me. I’m guessing the headphones will work with any music App anyway using Bluetooth, AirPlay etc. so that’s why I’ve pushed the Sonos App into second spot here.

Breaking the app then launching headphones because customers can just use them with Bluetooth makes no sense.
So that makes it the ideal Sonos strategy

I am guessing that the quoted reason is why Sonos is still going ahead with the launch, with the Sonos app a disaster zone.
Which begs the question - what then was the burning hurry to rush a half done Sonos app out?

Well we have not yet seen what the new Headphones will do - I’ve read a few things about them (rumours in the media), but perhaps this isn’t the time/place for that. I’m just saying I would go with the Headphones first and put the new Sonos App to be fixed next on my own list of priorities, as the Headphones will still likely work with other music Apps anyway (that’s a guess they will use Bluetooth/Airplay etc.)... I’m not even sure why the S2 App was recently upgraded/obsoleted, but it’s not going to change my current priorities, given that the new App seems like it’s now here to stay.
The AMA seemed to me to suggest changes are going to happen at the back-end anyway - so that possibly infers the old S2 App might become broken anyway, as things move forward, so if that is the case (I guess we each can’t be sure at this point), then I don’t personally see the point in going back to S2, just to see things perhaps stop working in that App anyway.
So it’s still Headphones first for me and then the fixes for the new Sonos App in second place, now that we are, where we are.
