Hi All,In my living room, I have 4 sonos Speakers.1 symfonisk bookshelf 1 sonos one 1 sonos one sl 1 symfonisk lamp speakerI would like to have them always behave as a single “Living Room” speaker unit.I was able to join the sonos one and SL in a stereo speaker and they behave as one. I would like to do this to all of them.I sense that the group functionality from sonos app is OK for different rooms, but when you have speakers in the same room it's a bit clumbsy. every now and them only half of them are playing. I need to open sonos app and select again all I want to enable. All in all, I'm looking for a more streamlined, seamless, ROOM aggregation.
I have 2 sonance amps but can’t them to play together. I have the option to switch from one amp to the other but each time I do, the itherone disappears from the group setup. Any thoughts how to get visibility to both amps at same time on appamd play same music for both?
Just got a new Sonos Ray and wanted to play music with YouTube Music from my phone, but that wasn’t possible, even with a premium family subscription. So I read a bunch of other support articles, Reddit posts and so on, tried the different suggestions, and nothing works. So I ended up calling support on the phone, they connected to my pc and made YT Music work, but not with the account I have all my playlists on.After hanging up I thought that the issue also were solved on my phone (Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra) but nope, no matter which account I choose, I get the error message “Something went wrong”, but if I choose the only (the wrong account) account that works on the (Windows) Sonos app, it works. So my issue is that I can’t get YT Music to work on Android/phone, which is my primary device for playing music on.
Hi!So i dont really have Sonos equipments (not that i dont want some), but I'm writing on behalf of my grandparents so i dont really know all about Sonos products. Im the "tech guy" of the family so i guess i dont really have a choice XDSo they have a Playbar and a Play:1 setup to what i think is a Sonos Bridge (a white box with only 2 ethernet ports at the back, nothing else). They recently acquired a new turntable they want to setup on their Sonos equipment. I initially thought they could wire it with directly on the amp but since the Bridge lacks Rca input, it's impossible. I've come across a Sonos Connect (both Gen 1 and gen 2 available) that I could aquire. I was wondering if I could replace their white box, the Sonos Bridge with only 2 ethernet ports, with one of them. Is it possible to just swap it for one of the two withiut changing their current speakers, so that they could enjoy their turntable? And if so, is it pretty straightforward? Also, if it's be possible, which gen woul
So I just switched to Xfinity’s cable modem/router combo from a previous setup. Of course this new setup forced me to create a new wifi name and define a password. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to Update the Network under Manage Networks in the S2 app. I have deleted the old wifi setup’s that were stored there and now, nothing is in this window. I have 2 Play 3’s and 2 Play 1’s in my setup here at the house. No matter what I do, I cannot get my system to come back up using the app on my iphone nor the controller on my mac… Soon as I take one of the speakers and connect it to my router via an ethernet cable, everything comes back up both in the app on my phone and on mac.. Soon, as I unplug the speaker from the ethernet cable, it all goes back to nothing connected… Please help, as I cannot run an ethernet cable to any one of these speakers.
So, I have a system set up in a residence. Approx. 7 Port devices that are connected to a multi-channel amp and wired analog speakers. The Ports are connected through wireless network. Music works fine...the issue I am having is that I am trying to extract HDMI/optical audio from a TV and line it back in through a Port so I can listen to the TV sound over the speakers in that zone. That does work, but there is a few seconds delay between the tv sound and the Sonos Port speakers. In doing a little research, I think there should be a setting available on the app to set an audio delay for the specific Port I am working with. That option doesn’t seem to be available though.I have a similar setup at my office, and I have older Connect devices there. Regardless, the audio delay setting option is there for that line-in setting. I assume Port devices should have that option as well?Is there anything obvious I am missing why I don’t have the audio delay option for this line-in TV setup?
Considering the Sonos Ace. I fly with my wife and we watch show on my phone or iPad together using Apple share audio via 2 sets of Apple AirPod pros. Would I be able to have on the Ace and then share audio to her AirPod pros so we could both watch the same show? Me using the Ace and her with AirPods. This is strictly for travel. Sorry if it has already been asked.
Hi,After the catastrophic crash of the S2 app, I waited a long (long) moment before recalibrating my system (arc+sub+era300) with a friend's IphoneBut I am realising that the trueplay On/Off toggle does not exist anymore on my android App (80.14.06).This is a strong regression for me (and a new disapointment).Does anyone knows if Sonos planned to get it back in Android App ?Regards
I just got a new Insignia Fire TV and I cannot get the remote to connect to my Sonos Ray sound bar. I’ve connected the Ray to Fire TV remote before, so I don’t know why this won’t work. I haven’t gotten anywhere with support through Sonos or Insignia.
How do I play music from my android library through to my sonus speaker
Dipped my toes into the Sonos pool yesterday with a pair of Era 100 speakers. They are used in a study and primarily to play our YouTube Music subscription(s) (we have a family plan).Adding YT music subscription as a source was pretty straight forward, adding a child account wasn't quite so obvious but got there in the end.Something I've noticed is that on both my daughters iPhone and my Samsung, in the Sonos app there is a drop-down option in YT music to choose which YT music account to use (hers or mine) however in the iPad app there is no such option (that I can find). Anyone have a similar setup and know if it's hiding somewhere on the iPad?
As my wife likes to watch TV at a much lower volume than I do, I originally bought the Sonos Ace headphone so that I can watch TV at a much higher volume with her while using the Sonos Arc Ultra. In fact, I had a live Chat with the Sonos tech before my purchase, and I asked the person this specific question. The tech responded positively saying that both the Ace and the Arc Ultra can be playing sound coming out of TV. I found out after the purchase, this was not the case. What a big disappointment.I wonder whether it is technically positive to enable the TV sound swap feature of the Ace while maintaining the sound coming from a sound bar. It it is, would others be supportive of asking Sonos to enable this feature for lots of people who, I am sure, would have similar issues with partners who wish to have a different sound volume while watching TV together?

Hi All, I currently bought a Sonos Move 2, but having issues in use.. The speaker is charged (sitting most of the time on the charging ring). However, once it went in sleepmode, it does not react anymore to power on.. I tried clicking on the on/off button, I tried putting it of and on the charging ring but to no end..After trying 10ish minutes, most of the time the speaker suddenly turns on again… When it is turned off, the speaker is also not visible in my app..Is this normal behavior?
I recently added two Era 100 speakers to an auxiliary room...and placed an eero wi-fi in same room. Within 30-minutes of networking the speakers, a three-second stutter started. It's on both speakers, but not at same time resulting in the stutter occurring as many as 15 times an hour.Actions I've already taken include trying speakers separately. No help. I spoke to Sonos tech for help. We did a firmware update. No help. What else can I do? Is this an inherent issue with Era 100's and I should just return them?
I try to reauthorize and it just keeps asking me over and over again to repeat it even though it says it was completed successfully.
I purchased my Sonos over a year ago, and the first 8-ish months, it worked as expected. Never touched it after setting it up in my gym, and now, it constantly boots my phone off, and fails to reconnect back for over 20 minutes. I am using an iphone 16 pro and a pixel 3, and it seems like the Sonos is just crappy. I've original used my Sonos when my wife and I both had a pixel 2 and the iphone 11. We both upgraded phones, not for the purpose of narrowing down the Sonos speaker, but still, Sonos fails to remain connected when playing music. Is this a know issue with Sonos? I love the quality, but fighting it 6 days a week, restarting both my wifes phone and mine just to make it through a single workout without it disconnecting is getting incredibly tiresome.
Album art from my personal library displays fine in the mobile app, but not at all in the web app. Is this a known bug or is there a solution?
When I try shuffle a playlist with more than around 100 tracks in the Sonos app it malfunctions. The app adds thousands and thousands of tracks, up to 35,000 which are presumably just duplicates of what's in the playlist. And it just shuffles a few tracks from the playlist repeating them over and over. It's impossible to clear the playlist while it's doing this as well. What's going on? Is there a fix?The playlist in the photo actually has around 1800 tracks but by the time I took the screenshot Sonos was already up to 11400 in the queue and was still adding more.
I have an older system. I have 4 stand alone Play 1; 2 stand alone Play 3; Playbar and Sub and have 2 Play 1s as the rears surround for the Playbar. All must be Gen 1 as all pieces are about 15 yrs old. i have been using the system with S2 controller and its a disaster. Sometimes will work and then all of a sudden will stop playing and disconnect OR will start and stop playing. Very inconsistent and the app is very slow to connect to my phone. It’s just not reliable. Is this happening because of the S2 app? Are my speakers too old or do I have too many speaker connected to the S2 app? Should I downgrade back to S1 app? I never used to have problems with original app but since I’ve connected these speakers to S2 I think that may be the issue. please assist. Thank you in advance.
I just purchased an Arc Ultra, 1 Amp, and a Sub 4. I also have a pair of in-ceiling 3rd party rear channel surrounds. Can I use the same Amp for the Sub 4 and the 3rd party rear channel surrounds?
Hi, Because of the YouTube Music podcast playback error, I was looking for an alternative way to listen to my podcasts. This turned out to be TuneIn, where I almost have them all.Unfortunately, after the initial joy, I'm experiencing the same thing: not all podcasts can be handled by the app, and it displays the same error as YouTube Music. I guess the uninstall/reinstall the service is not the best way to manage this issue.Any ideas? Thanks.Ferenc
Summary: I have an AMP paired with an Arc Ultra to power surround speakers, and I have cannot get them to be louder than whisper quiet without also affecting the side-firing speakers on the Arc Ultra itself. I purchased two Sonance IS8s to use as surround speakers in my living room. I purchased an AMP to power them. I recently purchased an Arc Ultra. I set that up using WIFI, and then I paired the AMP to it (also over WIFI). When I am watching Dolby content (5.1+ confirmed in the app), the surround speakers are whisper quiet. I tried adjusting the “TV Volume” slider, but that increases the surround channels on the soundbar as well as the surround speakers. I am not sure why the soundbar continues to duplicate the sound coming from the surround speakers, but it does. So, though this slider does make the surround speakers louder, it makes the surround coming from the soundbar itself ridiculously loud. I also attempted to solve it with Trueplay. I did both the simple version and
I used to listen to The Florida Roundup, produced by WLRN, on Sonos through iHeart radio. Then it was unavailable. I have tried to find it on all my sonos services, but it wont play on Sonos. I can play it directly on apple podcasts or iHeart podcasts. Tried to add TuneIn to Sonos to play it, but that didnt work either. Come on Sonos, make it easier for us to use! How do I get my podcast??
