I recently added two Era 100 speakers to an auxiliary room...and placed an eero wi-fi in same room. Within 30-minutes of networking the speakers, a three-second stutter started. It's on both speakers, but not at same time resulting in the stutter occurring as many as 15 times an hour.

Actions I've already taken include trying speakers separately.  No help. I spoke to Sonos  tech for help. We did a firmware update.  No help.

What else can I do? Is this an inherent issue with Era 100's and I should just return them?

Hi @UghUghWow

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear of this issue you have been having with your new Era 100 speakers - the case notes indicate that you reset the speaker(s) and that this worked, but I guess the issue came back shortly afterwards?

No, this is not an inherent issue that you’re seeing.

The fact that two speakers in a single rooms are seeing this same issue certainly prompts the idea that there is a networking problem.

Are your speakers set up as a stereo pair, or are they individual? Are they grouped with any other players, and do you see the same issue if you play only to one of those speakers (or only that room if they are a pair)?

I presume both speakers are not in the immediate vicinity of the Eero node, but is either of them? Or is another device close to it, perhaps? If there are any electronic devices within 3 feet of the Eero node, please remove them. I also recommend a read of our Reducing wireless interference help page, keeping both speakers and the Eero node in mind while you do so.

It may also be worth looking at the connection signal strength that the Eero node in that room has with the rest of the network (assuming it is not wired to ethernet), as this would adversely affect both speakers.

If none of this helps, please recreate the issue and submit a support diagnostic immediately afterwards, then, when convenient, please reply here letting me know that you have done so, but please don’t share the number given. Thanks.

I hope this helps.
