Since I updated Sonos software I have a totally unstable system…tech support told me it was router issue. I spent the time and money to install a new mesh network and this has not helped. Speakers cut in and out of service, streaming starts and stops and app volume controls and speaker selection doesn’t usually work.Even with a hard wired Ethernet the system can’t be counted on.Anyone know if these issues are going to be fixed soon? Old software version was very stable.
Hello! I using many music services on Sonos, use new app on android, desktop app for windows and SonoPad on old ipad.I have an issue with Deezer in new app only. I cant load main page of this service it show error. But searching, playing deezer playlists from sonos favorites works great. Its starts few days ago.Thank you
Moderator Note - Translation by Google:Hello, since the redesign of the application, Deezer seems much less well integrated: when you launch music from the top of an artist, only the music is played and the following songs do not follow each other, impossible to add music to a Deezer playlist, impossible to add music to the queue (after the current song or at the end)... all these very practical functions were possible before the update and are no longer possible now...

Does anyone know when Sonos plan to bring back the ability to edit WiFi settings on products like the Sonos Amp? (this feature disappeared when they released the v2 app upgrade)According to release notes, a WiFi configuration feature was re-added in June, but that was only for BLE devices; I have a Sonos Amp which is one of many Sonos products that isn't included. Right now I have a $1000 paperweight that's unusable because I can't connect to my WiFi :( Any suggestions welcome!
Sonos…..you can’t seriously think it was a good idea to remove the ability to edit the music queue / add or change what’s playing next, etc.!!!! This is one of the things people use the most!!! Please fix it ASAP!!!!
I recently bought a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with the hope of having the TV connected to it and using it as a Spotify Connect speaker. It’s been working fine until I tried to enable the Google Voice Assistant. In their app, I start the process, but then the Google Assistant app opens and says no devices found.I have the latest Sonos iOS app and the latest Google Assistant app. The mic button doesn’t do anything when I press it, and in the app, the mic shows as “Disabled.”I’ve already tried to re-pair and re-add it to my account, restarted my router, and restarted the Beam itself. I have plenty of other devices that can be added to Google Assistant without any issues. It’s just this Beam.I also have a Sonos One that has no issue connecting to Google Assistant. I’ve reinstalled the One multiple times just to ensure it works properly.I contacted customer service and explained the issue. The representative claimed that there was an issue with Google Assistant and that no devices could be set up wi
So, WIIM just killed off Airplay streaming / casting. My WIIM Pro Plus did have quite an effect and really helped my Fives sound better. Any tips as it seems WIIM have silently killed Airplay with their latest firmware (June) and poof...Airplay casting gone.
Wonderful speakers. The app sometimes works great and sometimes it’s not responsive unless I close it out and open it back up. make it easier to access Treb & Bass within the app. Make it one step instead of 2 or 3 steps. Quicker control. Not all albums are the same, need to make the adjustments accordingly. Other than that, the speakers are fantastic.
I have two Ones stereo paired with a sub mini (room 1) and two stereo paired roams (room 2), all of them grouped in my living room. All working seamless for music listening.Few days ago, I took the roams out to garden (they still hooked to the same wifi AP). Previoulsy I unticked the ones from the group so only roams would delivery music on the backyard area. Couple of minutes later my wife showed up at the garden saying I was driving her crazy with the deep bass inside the house, so I walked back in to realize the sub mini was playing along the roams! That happened only that time, couldnt repeat it again. After tick and untick the (room 1) one time all when back to normal.

So, I’m guessing that last update to the desktop controller and related firmware - especially the firmware has created a new bug for me where speakers/zones just vanish from the app - any app and stop playing. Sometimes they are still there but no sound. I’m guessing the speaker either crashes or somehow loses connection or becomes a zombie - even wired connections, so it’s not a WiFi issue. Most of my Sonos is wired. This has been such a bummer experience. Lots of money into this system and SONOS couldn’t care less.
We just moved to a new home and took with us an older model Sonos Subwoofer. We also installed a new Arc soundbar, which paired with a new TV works beautifully. However, multiple attempts to pair the subwoofer with the Arc have failed (even the Best Buy Geek Squad could not fix).Symptoms:Numerous times the subwoofer would not join the Sonos network (Note: our in-house wifi at the sub’s location is very strong). On several occasions the sub was rebooted and did join the Sonos network. Yet, on these occasions once joined and app indicating that it paired successfully, no sound was produced by the sub and in the app it indicated as “not connected”.NOTE 1: This is an older sub with the following numbers on its base:1508 ****************NOTE 2: Several attempts were made to properly reboot the sub, i.e. as in unplugging the sub and then pressing the button on its side while plugging into the electrical socket again.Still no success:Any suggestions would be appreciated. This speaker has given me nothing but trouble since day one. And it pisses me off because The issue I’m facing with it could be fixed by them having put in one of the most absolute bare minimum basic features for any wireless speaker. Which is Bluetooth. this thing refuses to remain connected to the Wi-Fi. It will connect, it will stay connected for a little while. And then after like a day or two it will disconnect from the Wi-Fi and refuse to reconnect unless the Wi-Fi router is completely rebooted. Would not be an issue at all. IF THIS 600$ WIRELESS SPEAKER HAD BLUETOOTH LIKE EVERY OTHER WIRELESS SPEAKER. Like they added a line in aux connection, which objectively has worst audio quality than Bluetooth due to the connection being prone to causing mild feedback hiss at louder volumes. But not Bluetooth??? AND EVEN THEN YOU CAN’T USE THE LINE IN CONNECTION, UNLESS IT’S CONNECTED TO WI-FI SO YOU CAN SWITCH IT OVER TO THE LINE IN CONNECTION. THIS THING IS COMPLETELY BRICKED AND USELESS
What the heck did you do to this app??? It is so hard to use now. It’s a shame
I have a large, open space, living and kitchen area with 6 Sonos Architectural ceiling speakers connected to a Sonos Amp. I’m curious how some would recommend I wire them for the best sound. The room is a large rectangle. With L being the left channel and R being right, what would you do?LLLRRR orLRLRLR
Man, I used to think Sonos was awesome. I even invested and bought some shares in it but now I am so disappointed with Sonos. I have spent thousands cause I was on board. Now I can’t even control my system if I’m standing in front of it. So sad. What happened? I used to have instantaneous response from my system and was so happy with it. Now I’m lucky if I can fast forward to another song or even pause the system when I’m standing in front of it with 500/500mbps wifi with eeros and perfect internet. Can’t even get some of the old speakers at my girlfriend’s house to work or connect anymore. So disappointed. So sad.
everyone should know that Sonos voice control is absolutely terrible and does not even support YouTube Music. It’s a swindle to try to con you into buying their music service. The only one that supports voice control. I’m absolutely returning this thing immediately. It used to be illegal to false advertise in this country. when I bought this thing, I absolutely envisioned myself controlling YouTube Music with my voice using this device And was 100% convinced that that was going to be possible. but no. sonos: Very clunky and incompatible. does sound good though
I have a Sonos system of various speakers around the house. The system was working alright, no drop outs, songs skipping on their own, the app was relatively responsive. Only issue would be a delay between the speakers when starting playback, but this was minor.I replaced my old wireless mesh router system (Linksys) with a new one (ASUS) with the same SSID set up to try to get stronger signal and better performance. However, ever since the Sonos system has been a mess. It won’t connect to some speakers occasionally, playback skips songs on its own, stops randomly on some speakers, and the app is very unresponsive. It’s almost unusable.I’ve tried common troubleshooting like factory resetting all speakers individually (took forever), binding speakers to specific nodes, rebooting the routers, rebooting Sonos, changing channels and other router settings (qos off, airtime fairness off, power saving options off), binding all speakers to a dedicated IP, and reinstalling the Sonos app. No impr
I recently switched over from Bose Soundlink Mini to Sonos Roam 2. I did this primarily to sync my new speaker to my homes Wifi system, along with the ability to pair more speakers in the future. I could not get my speaker to show up on my home Wifi system. I contacted Live Chat I they helped me get my speaker setup, but could not get the speaker to show up on my Spectrum Wifi system. Through some diagnostic research. it had been determine that my Spectrum Router was non compatible with the Sonos software. Consequently Sonos software does not support any Spectrum or Charter routers. The Live Chat technician said the software developers have not fixed the incompatibility issues. Out here in Winfield, Mo, we don’t have much to choose from Cable carriers. I would have liked to invested in a whole house speaker system, but the Sonos software developers have not made that possible for me. I am very disappointed to find this out after I had purchased the speaker. I love the speaker, but I
Hello,I’m sure this has been requested many many times before, but would really love it if there were EQ presets that you could configure and save within the app. Ex. TV/Sports vs Movies vs Music. I would be fantastic to have the ability to configure multiple saved EQ presets that could be easily switched between given the source material. There are a lot of cases where I constantly have to turn the volume up or down and change the bass, treble, surround and sub settings when consuming different media and it becomes tiring. The ability to create and save a few presets would be amazing! I’ve had cheaper sound bars that offer this feature and would love it if Sonos could implement this.
Am i stupid for thinking i could listen with my partner together if there’s a bundle package for sale? I just received the two, which i bought because there’s a baby on its way and we got these so we could still watch movies without waking the baby up. After some struggling i finally got each individually connected and was excited to test them together. Not an option. Unable to pair them together.Now.. why on earth would you offer a pair on the website when you can’t listen together?I feel so stupid for thinking i was able to listen together. Really hope this is gonna be supported in an update.
Did anyone had totally dismal experience while trying to return the Sonos Product. I bought Arc and Sub. Immediately after getting them, I have been trying to return them but in vain. No response on chat, email. Phone wait is pathetic. One day it said 115 min. Today it said 25 mins, but am holding line from 40 mins. Is someone at Sonos listening? Why are you claiming 45 days return policy if none exists? If someone has been successful in returning or working it out with Sonos, please provide guidance. Emails and chat have not helped so far. Online I am not able to generate RMA - it says product not eligible for return policy. I don’t understand why it says that, as its bought just a week back.any help or guidance is appreciated.
Sonos speakers keep cutting out from internet. This isnt just once in a while it happens multiple times per hour where they just stop mid stream. I have the era 100 (pair), beam and arc with a sub gen 3. I finally got the system set up after the huge sign in/update error loop the app had on ios. Have already factory reset and then separately updated network connection on them after re syncing them to my account.Anyone know what the issue is?iphone 15 pro max, most recent app as of posting, already did software updates to speakers
“Unable to connect to Sonos product”Not playable at all. App is now dead on Mac desktop & iOS devices.
