The window/screen that shows the current track playing (see below) is getting totally stuck on my Pixel 7 phone. It doesn't advance to the next track, just gets stuck on the first. The speakers (ERA 300 pair) play back okay. I'm not getting the same issue on my two Oppo phones, it's just the Pixel phone that's affected. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling app etc but no luck. This is the screen I'm referring to:
Pre-ordered an Ultra w/ Sub4, my CC was charged 10/25, anyone care to post here when they get a tracking # etc?
I’ve just noticed that, after updating my Music Library, nearly all of the artists who start with a ‘The’ in their artist meta data are imported in to the Sonos Music Library with the ‘The’ chopped off. Guessing this isn’t intentional, why would it be? For example ‘The Cure’ still has it’s artist meta data as ‘The Cure’ but in the Music Library it’s under ‘Cure’. So the albums don’t show up if you search for ‘The Cure’Is there a way of raising bugs?
Just want to play some music using my SirusXM account on Sonos. This was working last week, but today, no matter which channel I pick, I get the “Something went wrong.” All my channels work fine directly from my SiriusXM app, so this is Sonos’ issue, not mine or SiriusXM’s.No, I will not reauth my account, as so many others have done. Why should I have to reauth my account when this happens, WHEN NOTHING HAS CHANGED AND THIS WAS WORKING FINE LAST WEEK? Good lord I’m angry, this is such utter incompentence. This is the only function I have left that worked with some consistency after the May update, and now it’s just as unreliable. When I have to spend more time trying to fix your **** app then playing music, something is seriously wrong. I have barely used my controller/systems since the horrible May update that showed us how seriously Sonos takes quality, and today just confirms my decision to sell off most of my units (I have two left). And I STILL cannot add my iTunes library,
Hoi, Na het updaten van de app, wil mijn connect amper niet meer werken. Het systeem vraagt een update. Dit lukt echter niet en geeft voortdurend foutcode 1000. Heeft iemand raad?Mvg,Nick
Well, the app update a few days ago had a note stating the music library indexing issue, where one album appeared multiple times, had been fixed. Installed the update....still see a single album multiple times. Odd thing is that for some of the albums that were doing it prior this update they are now showing as a single album, while some are still showing as multiple albums. SMH.
Sonos Community, would love some advice, I want to add Sonos to my home and build, would love input on how many amps I would require and speaker choice. i was thinking, in the living room have the new Sonos Arc and Sub moving to the kitchen and dining having a ceiling mounted speaker in each and for the outdoor room Having a speaker above the living room window looking at the outdoor space and another above the other window looking towards the pool.
The standard information died not solved my problem
Once again. App out of order. It’s a joke!
Let's just call TrueCinema the Sonos version of vapor ware.If you want me to buy the Arc Ultra, first deliver on existing promises.
I am constantly unable to play back any FLAC files from my Plex server. However, I am able to play the same files if I go through my Media Library. However, with the recent beta earlier this year, I was able to have this playback functionality. The error message that I’m seeing in the error log is:Thursday, 9 May 2024 - 19:26 Atlantic TimeUnable to play '(Song Name Goes Here)' - the connection to Plex was lost. This error message repeats for any FLAC track that I try to play.I am able to play these files perfectly fine via the Plex application itself.
Hi everyone - currently I have a gen 2 beam and a sub mini. I’m thinking of buying a single sonos 5. My room is L shaped but all my living/listening is done at the ‘bottom’ of the L. I’m unsure about the best place to put the speakers. I’m guessing that maybe trueplay will adjust the Sonos system to a certain extent. I’ll try to send a photo of how things are presently…
I have now had 3 Sonos Roam speakers, all carefully cared for, simply die and not take a charge. I love the sound qualifty, but hate the product. The single button and constant need to repair to blue tooth, etc., is very annoying. They are pricey speakers for what they do and lasting only a couple of years with intermitent use is not acceptable. I have never had this problem with a Bose portable - going back to Bose….I tried calling Sonos Customer support several times. Waited over 45 minutes each time without anyone picking up.I want to love Sonos, but you are making it very difficult. Has anyone else had similar problems with the Roam or Sonos Customer servcie?
Non riesco ad accoppiare il mio Sonos.. la luce bianca in alto, nonostante tenga pigiato il pulsante di accensione, rimane bianca anche dopo il secondo segnale acustico (e non diventa blu).. Moderator edit:Google Translate-I can't pair my Sonos.. the white light at the top, even though I hold down the power button, remains white even after the second beep (and does not turn blue)..
Hi community folk. I’ve recently been trialling Plex / Plexamp and thought I’d offer a short appraisal of how it can bring an enhanced experience to those of us with local music libraries.Plex can be added to Sonos as a service in the usual way. You can play your Plex music library through Sonos without paying for a Plex Pass subscription. This is basic functionality and offers an alternative way of playing your local files. It does require internet access as the files are being access through Plex’s servers, and your media server needs to be online. Some people do this to overcome the Sonos metadata constraint (typically referred to as the 65K track limit, even if that’s not 100% accurate).Plex Media Server can be installed on all sorts of hardware and operating systems. I am using a HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF PC. It uses too much power to be a long-term solution for 24x7 operation (it idles at around 50W), but perfect for testing. Mini PCs using Intel N100 processors seem to be flavour of
My app never works. Its garbage. How can you not update and fix your garbage interface
Has anyone found a fix to sign in to Amazon to add Alexa? I know this was asked 6 months ago but wondered if there has been any update? As everyone else was saying, get all the way to sign into Amazon then it fails.....
Come mai da un po' di giorni non mi riesco più a connettere x spotify? Moderator Edit: Google Translate- Why have I not been able to connect to Spotify for a few days?
I am at the end of my rope. I have a projector that has one hardwired HDMI output. This was previously connected to an AV receiver that we attached a Roku to, which we used to watch things on the projector with sound coming out the speakers.Getting the Amp was supposed to render the receiver obsolete. I connected the Amp to the hardwired speakers, which works great to listen to music. However, I have not been able to figure out how to get the Roku signal out to the projector and the Amp. I bought an HDMI splitter that is supposed to be able to do this, connected the Roku to one input and the Amp and projector each to an output. However, this has not worked either. What other options do I have to route the Roku audio to my Amp and video to the projector?
Hi there. I have two older Sonos speakers (both Play 1) that I would like to connect to a record player. I know that the newer era and five speakers have a line in feature (and I would prefer to have the benefits of a third speaker than go for the Port). My question is whether I can use the line in feature on a new era or five, to connect the phono to my existing sonos network. Ie is there a way to get the record player sound coming out of all 3 speakers, via an era or five, or will it just come out of the new speaker? Many thanks in advance.
Why is the arc ultra switching between to and arc ultra
Issue: I am playing music from Plex via the Sonos app (using both Android and Windows). During the daytime, this works fine most of the time with no issue whatsoever. However, pausing the queue at night and then resuming the queue in the morning causes the following problems. When music is resumed in the morning, it plays just two songs (three if they are short tracks), and then stops playback mid queue. Restarting the queue works, but it again only plays two songs before stopping. If the queue is deleted and new music selected, the new queue is affected by the same issue. Only after unplugging every speaker and restarting the system does the issue resolve. This does not (normally) happen when pausing the queue and resuming during the daytime, even if many hours have passed. Can anyone help me identify what might be a cause of this issue?I have 2 Play 5s as a stereo pair, 2 Play 1s as a stereo pair and a single Play 1. Desktop app is running on Windows 10 and various Android devices with
My elderly parents-in-law have recently moved to an apartment and because the TV is across the room , they consistently have it at a very high level in order to hear dialogue. Is there a system where they could have external speakers placed beside their chairs, that would give them clear dialogue that could play at a lower level?. The setup would have to be easy to use, something permanently connected and preferably controlled by the TV remote itself would be the best solution. Our home system of a Beam and two One speakers as surrounds, would be great for them , except that as surrounds, the speakers focus less on dialogue, which would mean they'd still be cranking up the front volume. Is there a way to adjust the rear speakers so that they are dialogue focused ?
Gentlemen, Swallow your pride and restore the original version which worked well, before you ruin the reputation of the company you work for. Work again on the update and offer it to your customers when it has been fully tested, or resign! Simples. Time to admit failure and leave it to others more competent.
Will Sonos be developing the ability to pair two subs other than a home theatre set-up? I have two subs in my lounge room and want them to pair with my tow 5’s for general music listening.
