Hi there. I have two older Sonos speakers (both Play 1) that I would like to connect to a record player. I know that the newer era and five speakers have a line in feature (and I would prefer to have the benefits of a third speaker than go for the Port). My question is whether I can use the line in feature on a new era or five, to connect the phono to my existing sonos network. Ie is there a way to get the record player sound coming out of all 3 speakers, via an era or five, or will it just come out of the new speaker? Many thanks in advance.

The least expensive solution would be to use an Era 100 with the line in adapter. But the Five would also work great. You just need to select line in on the speakers you have the TT connected to.

To get sound to the Play 1s, you can either create a group that would play all three speakers whenever you play something, or you can start the TT with the Era 100/Five, then group it with the Play 1s.

Another solution, if you do not have room for another speaker, would be to use a Connect S15 or a Port. You can set the Connect/Port to autoplay to the Play 1s.
