One of my Move ( not Move 2 ) speakers has an alternating orange / white status light. This Move is part of a stereo pair. Both speakers reside on the charging ring when not used outdoors. The charging light is not lit indicating a full charge. Looking in the app both Move speakers show and are fully charged. Both Move speakers are on build 76070. Turning the faulty Move off then back on does not change the status light issue. No sound from offending Move.I will go through the process of calling Sonos and if recommended send a diagnostics. Just thought it would be good to check with the community first. EDIT: Just went back into the room where the Move stereo pair resides. The status light is now solid white as it should be. Head scratcher. Hopefully is stays that way.
We're building a new media wall unit, and am planning to buy an Arc Ultra for below the TV.Have I got enough space around the speaker for it to work, or am I going to have limited side firing speaker benefits if going into the side of a unit.Am I also better trying to have more space above the speaker between it and the TV also
Hi community, lately I acquired a brand new Beam Gen 2 for obtain (finally) Dolby Atmos but when I listen to it (and listening tests) I noticed that the virtualized height channels sounds like is there only a filter, I know that is a bit complex to do this notice life-like but the only solution I viewed was, to do a trueplay tuning? My room isn’t the best but I expected more, so I’m also asking for advices and others experiences to not refund it, I really like to listen Atmos well but I don’t have an iPhone so, if it is very necessary I’ll try to obtain one.Thank you for any advice and sorry if my grammar isn’t the best :)
Apple has released a beta for Apple TV (tvOS 26.4)In this update: "It appears that Apple added this new setting (Continuous Audio Connection), in part, to address complaints from Apple TV users who use Sonos speakers paired with AV receivers. Some users have indicated they hear popping noises or awkwardly low volume levels on certain channels, specifically with 5.1-channel content."When I open my SONOS App it now shows that EVERYTHING I play from ATV is in Dolby Atmos, these are TV programs that I am 100% sure are not played in Atmos. It says: “Apple TV uses a Dolby MAT connection for glitch-free playback across formats. Older receivers may indicate an Atmos connection, but original mixes will not be modified.” I know it's a beta but it will be interesting to follow and see if they fix the bug.The article can be read here: tvOS 26.4 adds new ‘Continuous Audio Connection’ on Apple TV My setup: Samsung S90C - ATV 4K Gen 2 - Arc Ultra - 2x Era 300 - Sub 4.
Just bought the ace headphone. The shop confirmed they could be used in a sonos system. But to my horrow i find a lot of people also discovering that they cannot be group with all my other sonos speakers.I use my system for TV sound through a sonos soundbar, an bought the headphones to be able to listen to TV, and the tv sound should of coarse also be playing. But connecting the headphone to tv, and all other speakers go mute!!Is this really true? I do hope I’m doing something wrong, because else the most expensive, BY FAR, headphones I ever bought is totally useless. A very frustated customersvein
I had to power cycle all my Sonos equipment to correct a “ghost” song that would start random play at various times of the day and night on one of more of my Sonos equipment throughout my house. Doing that solved that problem, but have now encountered another issue, one that is a major problem for me.I redid my connection to YT Music Premium, and have found that Sonos now limits the number of albums I can see for any given artist. A good example is The Rolling Stones who have over 100 albums related to them on YT Music, to around 20 to 30. This eliminates my ability to brows their catalog within Sonos; a major disadvantage when using Sonos. Sonos AI says to enter the album I want to hear, and when it appears, I will be able to listen to it when I want. If I knew what that would be I wouldn’t be typing this now.According to all sources of information I see, including Gemini AI, this is not a YT problem. It is a limitation of the Sonos app.I see similar posts about this dating back two y
I’m posting this to see whether other Sonos Arc Ultra owners have experienced the same issue, because at this point I’ve done enough testing to know I’m not just imagining it.My problem is very specific: on certain scenes with male voices yelling, raising their voice, or getting very intense, my Arc Ultra produces a harsh distortion / clipping / breakup sound in the dialogue. It is not just bright treble or sharp sound. It sounds like the vocal peak itself is breaking up and getting rough in a way that does not sound normal. This does not seem like a simple one-unit defect, because I had this issue on my first Arc Ultra, replaced it with another one, and the replacement Arc Ultra is doing the same thing too.I have tested this across multiple sources and settings already:Sources tested Sony native apps Roku Panasonic 4K player PS5 Audio formats tested PCM Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 Dolby Atmos Other things tested eARC on and off pass through changes digital audio out changes Dolby Dy
There was an existing thread for this open issue but I cannot add to because its been closed as “answered” (??) - found here: The good news is that the developers of Airfoil reached out to me to inform me that the latest Sonos update has finally fixed the issue. I updated by Move2 via the iPhone Sonos app to 84.00.34 and tested the Move2 from Airfoil - Im happy to report it is now working and stable for me.So looks like as suspected, it was a Sonos software issue all along.https://support.sonos.com/en/article/release-notes-sonos-app-updates
It was connecting seamlessly to my projector, then it suddenly stopped playing sound. Now it doesn't play sound from my iPhone or iPads. Very disappointing. I was going to buy a Sonos Soundbar, but this experience has really put me off the brand.
Sonos has started sputtering during songs and finally halting that song at a standstill, then a message: “Network connection speed insufficient to maintain playback buffer.” Then it goes to next song in the queue and again sputters to a standstill. Doesn’t always happen, sometimes goes along fine for a song or two before it happens again. Ookla speed test states 447.0 download, 19,9 upload. Driving me crazy and any help much appreciated. Only started happening 4 days or so ago.My only Sonos-manufactured equipment is a single ZP80 and using Iphone (sometimes my Imac) S1 controller. Everything worked beautifully before this problem started. No other known problems with other various functions operating on my network.
I recently purchased a Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar for my Dell Alienware AW3225QF monitor, which has an eARC connection. I purchased an eARC HDMI cable from the official Sonos website (which I believe is 2.1, therefore compatible with the monitor). I set up the devices as follows: - HDMI 2 output on the monitor connected to the PC for video output using a UGREEN high-definition HDMI cable. - HDMI 1/eARC output on the monitor connected to the SONOS Beam Gen 2 soundbar using the original SONOS HDMI/eARC cable. Despite the correct settings, the audio doesn't work. My monitor correctly displays the soundbar among the output devices [1 - AW3225QF (AMD Audio Definition Audio Device)], but sound doesn’t come out. I've done everything I can to try to resolve the issue, specifically: 1. I reset the monitor settings. 2. I enabled HDMI CEC (on) on the monitor. 3. I installed the latest monitor firmware update (M2B110) and restarted my PC. Dolby Access app on Windows correctly visualize Dolby Atmos
I added local library tracks to my queue and when I double clicked on the first track, what my daughter had been streaming resumed playing. Please fix this.
Anybody have experience connecting a Samsung TV to the Sonos Arc via ARC port from the TV to the soundbar. On the amsung TV there is meant to be a setting in the HDMI audio out to set it to passthrough to allow the audio source (Sky box) to be routed through the TV without processing straight to the soundbar. This setting is just not there.Ive rebooted everything to initiate the handshake from the TV to the soundbar but no luck.Anyone else seen this ?

Ethernet from sonos amp, connect gen 1 and laptop to router. Router is Wireless 7 from spectrum.HDMI wireless transmitter /receiver was already set up and working with transmitter out on laptop hdmi to remote tv hdmi in (not arc). Doesn’t work Is this a channel problem?….I even tried a new alternate hdmi wireless /transmitter/receiver….same problem...won’t pair...the alternate had 5 channel selection….none worked....would not pair...Any ideas?
I raised a ticket more than a month ago and at first Sonos tried to fix the issue - now I am stuck with no apple music library, SONOS ignoring emails and then telling me engineers are working on it - in the meantime apple keeps updating and SONOS do nothing to fix this issue - surely I am not alone??? I cannot access my music library at all
Ever since I saw the strap on the back of the Play, I thought it would be convenient to be able to hang the Play from a hook. If you’re commonly using the Play in your backyard, or anywhere really that’s not it’s charging home, and don’t want place on a surface, a hook is a good option. The main problem with this is that the strap is 90% degrees the wrong direction. Using that with typical hook is going to have the Play facing the wrong direction, or if against a wall, twist the strap in a way that puts unnecessary strain. Adding a carabiner, or something similar, between the Paly and Hook would fix this issue. However, all the carabiner’s I’ve seen have a curved surface. Maybe not an issue, but that would likely mean the strap doesn’t lay evenly in the carabiner, and puts more strain on the edges of the Play strap rather than evenly across the entire strap. Perhaps not an issue, and the strap won’t eventually tear, however, I’m wondering if there is a better device out that can b
Summary Reporting a reproducible behavior pattern on a 15-speaker Sonos S2 system with a WiFi 7 network. Issue reproduces on both iPhone and Android (Google Pixel), ruling out an iOS-specific cause. I just got a new router from Orange; a Livebox7. I have configured a 2.4GHz band. But failed to connect 3 One SL speakers. I can see the speakers in my router connected to the WiFi, but the Sonos app does not see the speakers and I Conan not finalize the set up. Sonos customer care was not able to help, after endless resets, etc. Is there someone who can explain how to change the settings on my router to make this work?
This has been stuck for hours and only have about 5gb of file that im trying to add
Well it didn’t take long for a 3rd party travel case to be offered up. Click this link. Moderator edit: link edited to remove tracking
Hi, I have a Sonos system that consists of IKEA Symfonisk lamp speakers (x5), Sonos One (x2), Play:3 (x2), and a Sub.I kept my system on version 16.1 (April 2024) until recently, about two months ago. During that time, I didn’t have any issues — everything was working flawlessly. At the end of January, I acquired two Sonos Roam 2 speakers, and in order to use them, I had to upgrade the system to the latest version. I also enabled auto-updates so that my system stays up to date. I use the Android app and the Sonos desktop app on Mac. For at least two weeks now (maybe even longer — I didn’t pay close attention at first), I’ve been experiencing major issues when playing music on the IKEA lamp speakers. Most of the time, I use a local music library hosted on my Synology NAS (same setup as in the past couple of years). I usually listen to playlists with around 250 tracks. I’ve observed that very often, during playback on the IKEA speakers, tracks are skipped — sometimes one, sometimes multi
Hi all, I currently have a sonos arc (non ultra) paired with a sub gen 3 and two era 300 as surround. I also have a beam gen 2 and two ones in other rooms but my question is this…I want to turn off my 2.4g wifi signal and only use 5g and above on my router. My arc and sub gen 3 won't work on this band but the era 300 will.I am wondering if the setup will work if I hardwire the arc to a router (which the sub can join along with other older speakers via sonosnet) and also have the era 300 (and beam) connect via 5g?Will they still all work together and will the era 300s still work as rears to the arc, as the arc will he hardwired but the eras will be wifi 5g (I believe the eras will not use sonosnet as it is phased out on newer speakers)?I hope it am making sense. Any help is appreciated. P.s the reason I want 2.4g off is some other devices prioritise it but I need them to be on 5g for stable cloud gaming and they don't have manual selection.
Album art is working for my local NAS library when I'm selecting albums, and shows in the summary page when I'm playing a track. But when I look at the queue there's no album art. That's not a big deal when just playing an Album but it's a pain when building a multi-album queue or playlist. This works on the iOS app, and I thought it was working recently in Android. But not any more. Had something changed? I don't think anything has changed in my set up. I have re-added the music library, but that doesn't help.
I’m looking for some advice on optimizing my Sonos Era 300 surrounds. My family room is 15’ wide with 9’ ceilings, and I’m sitting about 8–12’ away from an 82-inch TV. The area behind the couch is a large, open-concept space (kitchen/breakfast nook).Currently, my Era 300s are positioned to the sides near the walls and windows. I’m considering installing floor outlets under the couch to move the speakers directly behind the main seating area. Given the open space behind the sofa, would moving them closer to the listening position significantly improve the height and surround channels, or is the current side-wall placement better for this room's acousticsfamily room
Now you can only enable or disable status light for the speaker that played the right/left sound when doing the stereo setup. If you want to turn both steps light on or off you have to disable the stereo pair.Set each speaker status light on or off and then do the stereo pairing again. Still you can only control the speaker played the right/left sound.
