Controllers and Music services

I uploaded a song I made into Soundcloud but it wont appear anywhere. I placed it into a playlist and made it public and still couldn’t see it. I also placed another song into the playlist that was popular and I could see that one, but my own upload did not appear. Am I missing something to listen to listen to my own songs?

I have Sonos App updated and Amazon Music unlimited. When I use the app on my phones and desktop it works perfectly. However when using the Sonos App on the laptop, when I do a search no results appear.I’ve updated the app. Reauthorised the service. Disconnected and reconnected to the network. Rebooted. Uninstalled and reinstalled all apps. Still not search results in the SOnos App when doing the same search as on the phone (yes spleed correctly).

I have used up both my email addresses. How can I clear the slate and start over with Sonos and make a new account?

I have recently changed Wifi and have updated Sonos so it connects to the new WiFi. Problem is that since the WiFi has changed, Sonos won’t play any of my TuneIn radio stations (BBC Radio so it is still active). I have rebooted my speakers and WiFi and still can’t get the radio to work.  I have a Play 1 and Play 3 speaker and same problem exists on both.  I can play Apple Music no problem. Help!

Lately whenever I try to play songs, stations or anything from either the iPhone app or Mac app, from either Google Music or Amazon music, I receive an error messages. Either, “Unable to play [music] - connection to Amazon Music/Google Play Music was lost” Can’t add songs to my cue Amazon song was not encoded correctly My wifi connection is strong, so it’s not a home network issue. Hi All, This is getting a bit frustrating. In the past, when using the Sonos app in the search->playlists section I could enter an artists name ie Powderfinger and would get results such as Powerderfinfer Essentials, Powerderfinger: Next Steps etc returned. For a few days this has not been working. Now when I run a search it seems to me that any of the Apple curated playlists are not returned in the search results, however, other playlists which are presumably created by other Apple Music users do show in the results. Does anyone know if this is a Sonos or an Apple issue? I have tried deleting and readding my account to the Sonos app. Anyone else having these issues, or know of a solution. Cheers, Duddsy

I have a Sonos One SL connected to my MacBook Pro. When I use the desktop Sonos app, the music plays fine.  However, if I want to play a video, say using You Tube, there is a 30 second sound delay.   The only way around this that I have found is to change the sound to come out of my internal speakers, start the video, then click on the Sonos speaker and restart the video.   Any other ideas on how to play a video with sound through the speaker in a more efficient way?

Have circumventing a problem with SONOS app (for years) trying to get to my iTunes Media Music Library on my media server.  Never was able to get it to connect and eventually just gave access to a local backup on that I was maintaining on line.   That is no longer feasible, can’t keep the backup online any more.So I was trying to get the SONOS App to access the remote file share directly.  Looked at prior fourm errors and saw that SMB V1 need to be enabled (not my favorite) and did that on the client (Plex01) and the Target (NAS-pc).  Both are Windows 10 Home machines, and up to date.I can clearly access the Server’s files and play the media from the mapped drive (Z:) on  plex01Yet when I try to add the Z: mapped folder to SONOS app on the Plex01 machine, I get the below error. never saw am issue with a folder on mapped drive on the host PC… there are no options to share a mapped folder. All accounts on this machine have FULL CONTROL to the mapped drive.The Media Server (NAS-pc) is run

HiI've been Spotify-Sonos user for just over a year, running eero mesh network with  Spotify playing on my sonos devices : MOVE & BEAM WITH  2 x SL’s All has been great...especially with the move outside now i have decent Wi-Fi in the garden.  In the last week whenever I try and play audio from Spotify to one of my Sonos speakers it lags or doesn't play at all.  If i switch to my phones audio its immediate and i can switch tracks with immediately.  So some sort of lag/latency between Spotify and my relaying this to my Sonos speakers.I guess What i cant put my finger on is there has been no changes to the following : no firmware upgrade to mesh eero,no new devices or electrical devices on the networkno change in the location of the speakers. Move normally sits on dock in kitchen..eero doesn't allow a change in wifi channel. rebooted all devices / disconnected Spotify app from Sonos / uninstalled / reinstalled / cleared spotify cache Anybody got any ideas why this has just started ha

Not all Artists/Songs show up on Sonos Youtube Music although they all show up on the Youtube Music app and On Sonos Google Play Music.

Sorry, NOT playing entire Library Songs. The YTMusic app on Sonos offers to stream my Library’s collection of Songs but only seems to be capturing a very, very small fraction of my entire Songs collection. Is there a way to be sure and get all my Songs shuffled through on the Sono’s app? The ‘Your Mix’ option is misleading as well. It creatively mixes in new ‘recommended’ songs which I’m not interested in so that’s not a solution. I want all my Songs streaming from my LIbrary collection, please, not some limited selection. Thanks, comments please. 

Hello everybody,I am running into many problems with myS2 system. Please note wifi configuration is the same for a few years and never had any issues.Spotify stops playing OR repeats the song after 10-20 seconds Selecting a song or changing song takes forever, minimum5 to 10 seconds before it starts playing. Before it was instantaneous. when it starts playing it plays for a 10-20 seconds then starts again the song  Support diagnostic sent is 326329251Oh and yes I have disconnected everything, rebooted the router, then turn all device back on.. also plugged the playbar to a  wired network..I have the feeling S2 is not stable and ruins my sonos experience :-(anyone else having issues  ?thanks cyril

I know this has been asked a hundred times but… 2x Play 1 and 1x Play 3. All wireless, no bridge. All apps up to date, connected 2.4 ghz. keeps dropping out, drives me insane. Speakers disappear and reappear seemingly at random. Speakers are close to router, don’t have any other devices such as baby monitors or cordless phones. All other WiFi working fine. Tried swapping speaker locations but still no joy. Help, why can’t I play my music?

When I try and play my playlists i am getting a message saying “your Last fm login information was invalid”. I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. Help please.

For the tech guys… with a recent Windows 10 update, my UNC connections to various NASs are failing with a ‘path not found’ error. If I switch to the IP address, it comes right up. If I reboot my computer the UNC works for a while then it starts failing again. The Sonos desktop controller then can’t find my shares when working with them during this anomaly. Sonos itself works of course.Does anyone know anything about this and can offer up a solution? Maybe uninstall part of the update that is causing this? The PC was fine for years and the update is the only change to the software on it in the past few months.

In playlists imported from my Apple Music library, songs with accented letters in their titles show up in the imported playlists, but they show up as their .mp3 file name rather the song title, they don’t show their cover art, and the songs won’t play. The same tracks are indexed fine in the music library on Sonos and play with no problem. Has anyone found a fix for this? Thanks!

I’ve added several other services such as pandora, iheartradio, amazon music but I cannot add my apple music account.  Any suggestions???  I have an iphone 10XS Max.

I know get  the “song is no longer encoded correctly” error message on every album / song in my library.  I most typically use a streaming service, so not sure how long this has been an issue.  However, 2-3 months ago for sure I could play all the songs I cannot play now. I have done the usual -  restarted router, restarted Sonos devices, reindexed my library, updated all Sonos apps.  All to no avail.  Checked the community questions and nothing is popping as as the answer. I can still play music from the streaming service.Sonos and Pc are not in the same room, but they are close.  My wireless signal is strong.

After removing and re-adding my Music Library, a large percentage of my music missing. From another post, it said I should Update Music library and submit a diagnostic.    Your confirmation number is: 1873896154.

For an unknown reason, Sonos radio and Tune-in stopped playing music.When we select a Tune-in station, we ear a “DingDong Tune in” announcement and nothing else.When we select a Sonos radio station, no sound at all!Did reboot the Wifi router; no change at all. We can no longer listen to radio stations!

S2 app drops Sirius XM on a regular basis. Encoding issue is the common on-screen notification.

I haveover a period of months been burning my 1700 plus CD’s onto my iTunes for my Sonos. Whe I do, the album artwork automatically appears on my iTunes (usually). However, when I then update my Sonos library whilst the music is picked up, the album artwork is not. I then have to go onto Google or Amazon and copy the album artwork , re-name it ‘Folder’ add it to album info in my iTunes and it then appears on my Sonos.I thought when an Album cover appears on iTunes when a CD is burned onto it and it provides the Album artwork it is embeded. Is this not the case? If not how do I know if an album artwork is embeded or not. Is there a setting I can adjust to make sure it is?Seems daft that I have to copy the same album cover and paste it into iTunes along with the  same album cover and re-name it so it will appear on my Sonos. As you can imagine with over 1700 CD’s it is a right pain.

With the forthcoming (reported to be late 2020) demise of Google Play Musoc, is there an intention for Sonos to support YouTube Music free version? If this has not already been considered, how do I ask that it is? Many thanks, Ben

Having problem connecting Apple Music as a service.

Hi I have just started having problems with the music library which isn’t available.Library is on macbook pro iTunes library and when I go to ‘add library ‘ the path is clearly shown.I’ve tried updating the library with no luck.Same problem on laptop, iPad and iPhone all using the S2 controller and paired Sonos ones.Sonos radio is available and Spotify too just no music library. A real puzzle so any help appreciated.
