Your new app is terrible. What are you doing to fix it? I am about ready to dump Sonos. I have been a raving fan for many years but you have broken the system. 

Where do I can change the wifi network in the sonos app? I called Sonos service center for 2 hrs!!  and disconnected by phone

I had to get a new iPhone. My old one got wet. I attempted to connect to my system after logging in to the app and it won’t find my system on the WiFi  network that it’s on. I check my wife’s phone and I works fine. I double checked the WiFi network and I have it right. Tried the chat service. They told me to call the 800#. 65 min wait. 

Like many others, I’ve had issues with my music library (WD MyCloud NAS) randomly disappearing.  It’s seems to frequently occur when I take my Iphone or iPad out of Wi-Fi range and then return, causing the app to attempt to “find” the library again with random success.  On the other hand, the web app and/or the desktop app always has access to the library.  It probably doesn’t help that I have two Sonos systems (a Connect and a Port) in different locations so the app appears to take a lengthy time to reconnect to one or the other.Has anyone found a workaround to this issue?  I reset the app numerous times a day, with hit or miss success.  I’m not a tech expert, but it seems the problem resides in the design of the app where everything is run through the cloud.  Could this be a Sonos server issue or just a poorly designed app?

How do I roll back to previous version of app? I can’t even add a Sonos one to my setup without an hour of troubleshooting. I will never buy another Sonos product but I at least want to use what I have paid for lol

The new app does have a mind of it’s own. When I search for an artist and select an album the app chooses to play a ‘station’ of artists loosely similar to the one I wanted. It will play multiple tracks before it even gets to one from the selected artist and then it’s not a track on the album I wanted.  Does anyone have a solution?

Just updated the Sonos app on my ipad, and do not see a way to link to my itunes music library. How can I do this?

Since the recent upgrades of the Sono software (OS X client and iPhone app) the system keeps losing the connection to my Music library.I have a Sonos boost which I was using for the library. The new app does not seem to see it anymore.

Until last month, we have listened to Italian radio station Radio 70 80 90 and Radio Deejay on our Sonos 1 system. We’re in the UK and learning Italian, so really enjoy listening and learning. However, a couple of weeks ago, after the system upgrade, we lost all our Italian stations and are now no longer able to access them. Does anyone else have the same problem and been able to fix it. We’ve tried adding the stations but that hasn’t worked. And searching by country shows no stations at all for Italy!Help!!

Today I returned my era 300 because of the app, I tried to contact customer service and no one called me. how awful.

The current update does not function on either one of our Motorola G7 phones. Hangs on splash screen, eventually pops a program not responding wait or close message. Selecting wait will finally open the program. Have restarted phones, uninstalled-reinstalled, cleared caches. No joy. Android 11 OS. Also the Mac version won’t function on my iPad, but that is a separate issue. Requiring iOS 16 is stupid. My iPad will not accept that operating system so I have a virtually bricked system on all devices.A quick search shows that I am far from the only one having this or similar problems. This is entirely unsatisfactory.

New app is absolutely terrible.  Very unresponsive and reliable.  Clunky for sure.  I just turned a friend to sonos (another one) and the first comment was poor app!   I rather go back to older version.

For some strange reason, they started to play music not from my list when I manually hit the play button on the speakers. This exact same thing happened at my girlfriend business sSnos system about a month ago. Eventually it fixed itself after a frustrating 2 weeks. My question is will my system fix itself as well? I already spent 2 hours this morning trying to troubleshoot with all the tips on the website and tips I found on Reddit with no avail. All these issues started happening

Apple M3 Sonoma 14.5 Works on my iphone just fine. I’ve tried:Turning firewall on and adding sonos app to the list Turning firewall off and leaving it like thatThey are both on the same wifi. My 5g and 2.4ghz are under the same name, so it pushes to whatever the devices is asking fore. The app fails to connect over and over and over. It’s finally working fine for me on my phone, but MacOS won’t find soNOs.S Sonos works fine via AirPlay2.

Is there a page somewhere that lists by what dates the features you TOOK AWAY will be restored? Including NAS-based music library in search results? Ability to re-index NAS-based music library? Returning the alphabetical side navigation to speed movement through the music library?

It looks to me like the new app was actually designed and built for IOS. Corners of surfaces/views are far to rounded, theres no navigation drawer, no toolbar, no bottom, sheet, snackbar, floating action button etc standard UI components that Android users are use to. Anyone else on Android feel this way?Also some of the design choices are weird, the mini player/now playing screen bottom corners are rounded they should be straightned out so they blend in to the navigation bar, and why the mix of circles and square images looks awful to me especially in grids.  

HiDid RadioPlay dissapear from you guys as well? I am on S1 and got a message to authorize the account agian, but it never worked. I removed RadioPlay to add it again, but its not in the list! //Lasse

A simple question for Sonos.When will the ‘clear queue’ problem for mobile controllers be fixed ? The system is unusable unless I happen to be on my desktop PC. 

I’m thinking of buying a play 1 and play 3 how do i know if these can be upgrading to the s2 app

My Sonos system is not letting me listen to any songs via Napster. The Sonos system is working fine via Sonos Radio but failing to bring any songs through via Napster. I tried the Napster App and is working fine as its own entity. Disconnected from Sonos and reinstated but no luck. I then tried to connect Apple Music but wouldn’t connect to sonos. Can you point me in the right direction of sorting this? When browsing Napster via Sonos all menus are empty .

(running Android IOS) since updating my old sonos system (June 25/2024)to the new version on the app, its constantly asking for a software update. I click on it and the app states that its all “ up to date” then reverts back to the screen asking for a software update. I can not get into the app its a constant cycle that wont go away! i have deleted the app , forced it to stop then restarted the app, I have tried up plugging everything even the router to no avail. this is very frustrating, I even forced closed the update from the app store and its still the same! no one at Sonos help has any answers I figured I would put it out here.   I was so happy using my S1 app it worked fine before i was forced to update it all….now this BS, I am ready to start looking at other stereo products does anyone have an answer to this or had similar issues?

I’m getting this error when trying to access anything from Amazon Music. I’ve authorised the account fine, and it lists everything from Amazon fine - playlists, stations, songs, etc, but as soon as I try to play something I get this error. My Sonos account was originally created when I lived in the UK, but I live back in Australia now. My Amazon account is .com.au, not .co.uk. I’ve never tried to connect Sonos to Amazon.co.uk before.   

I don’t see a way to save a playlist, clear a queue or delete songs from a playlist on the new app

Is anyone else experiencing this issue since the AWFUL new app was rolled out?  Neither deleting app cache/data, reconnecting to service, nor updating to v. 80.03.03 helpedI do happen to have 947 titles in Favourites if that's relevant - all downloaded locally.Any advice or assistance appreciated!
