The update installed on July 18 or 19 shows “No selections are available” for my windows 10 music library. The folder adds to the system and appears in the selection menu for Sonos, but gives the”No selections” message.  The system was working fine and once again, the update “screwed the pooch.”Any ideas out there? Sonos has a fix for a MAC, but I have a PC

 When I hold on an Amazon Music playlist and choose Play Now  I get the error Something went wrong…. I’m a patient guy so I wait and finally it loads ( well part of it…500 of 622 tracks ).  It doesn’t start playing; I have to do that part.  Cleared queue with old app and tried same playlist but chose Replace Queue.  No error but this time it only loaded 100 of 622 tracks.  This app is quirky. Does the same thing with Apple Music, but the number of tracks loaded varies.  Never the right amount. The tracks are all Atmos. 

Dear Sonos,The new app uploaded itself on apple devices and now my system is completely bricked/useless. I have ZERO components in my system. I have tried to factory reset it, doesn’t work. Tried resetting the app, doesn’t work. Tried to get hold of support to no surprise ZERO chat reps available at 10:30 eastern time, and 50 minute wait for support.Do you people sit in a room and make up ways to piss your consumers off, because you are AMAZING at it? This entire system is about 24 hours outside of going in the garbage can since i can’t use them anymore.

I will never buy anything else from Sonos - the app is unusable - the only way I can change music is from the desktop app - the old app working fine but now I am forced to update, which basically breaks my Sonos system. I hope someone from Sonos management reads these forums - this is how companies go bust, by making their products worse and worse.Sorry for the rant but I am so frustrated. 

Dear Sonos team.My self and it seems most users are very upset with this new app it basically makes my Sonos systems useless. One of the biggest issues out of many to list here is true play gets stuck in the continue screen and the only way to go back is to close the app and reopen it. This is happening with all my systems I have several in my house. I’m so frustrated at this  point  I'm thinking of just dumping everything in the trash as sono  has not even made a statement on this very critical bad update. We are customers and we deserve better we have supported this company for years! 

 Ever since the launch of the new S2 app my system has suffered from the error code 913 unable to load local music library issue. I tried the various workarounds indicated by the community, and I still can’t configure my library directly, the 913 error code persists. However I have succeeded in implementing the NAS workaround, and have managed to get the library recognised through configuring the Music folder on my windows C: drive as a NAS drive. But this only partly works, some albums are shown correctly, some are shown multiple times, some don’t show at all, and when I try to play something from my library via my iPhone app I frequently get “Something went wrong. Try again.” Helpful! I’ve checked the consistency of the iTunes library, and it is fine. I wonder if this is a “feature” of the new app, or if I have configured something incorrectly. Am I a victim of Sonos incompetence, or my own? Would much appreciate the community’s help and advice. Sonos support

Can you plz fix the app,volume up and down are so slow and to play a new song takes ages!fix it god dammit!!!everything is so crazy slow with the new app!!

We have 4 play 1s and 1 play 5, gen 2. 2 of the play 1 are connected via ethernet cable while the rest are wifi connected.When I remove one of the ethernet connected play 1 all of the wifi connected speakers disconnect.Current version of the Sonos app will not allow for network wifi to be reset or updated for wifi connected speakers, even after ethernet connected play 1 is reconnected. So far the only option seem to be a factory reset and re-install a “new” system? Is this true? Please advise. Thank you! 

I experience a significant delay when playing music on my Sonos ARC from my iPhone (13 Pro Max, latest iOS). It can take up to 3-5 seconds for changing track. The only solution I have found so far is unplugging the soundbar for a few moments and then put it back on. I am listening from Spotify directly Airplaying to the soundbar but same can be experienced using the Sonos app. This is happening since after the first maybe month from purchase so in the last 6 months or so. What can I do to make it work without this delay besides unplugging the cable? Also I am not sure if Trueplay settings are saved after such reset.

Two clients - both using S2, both using Deezer exclusively, both recently updated S2, but one has iPhone 14, one has iPhone 15.  On iPhone 15, client can create Playlists and access playlists made prior to the update..  On iPhone 14, client cannot create playlists nor access playlists made prior to update.  After selecting Deezer from the main page, the next page appears the same on both phones and includes Playlists as an option.  Selecting Playlists takes you to two different pages, depending on the phone.  On the iPhone 14, the next page includes only one option under the heading “My Playlists” which is “Loved Tracks,” and it doesn’t work when you attempt to select it.  There is no access to previously created playlists.  On the iPhone 15, the next page includes a playlist page with options headed by “Create Playlist,” and these options are fully functional.  The iPhone 14 is the first image, the iPhone 15, the second.  I uninstalled the app on the iPhone 14 and then downl

Hi, I am new to Sonos. I have connected Plex to Sonos and in the Sonos App, I can see and play tracks from a ‘music’ library (= speech tracks), but not the proper music library, I want to connect Sonos with. How can I switch and connect to the correct?Other Sources are not accessible if this is what I should look for. I get an error message to try later there.Changing the alphabetical order of the two libraries does not have any effect either. Also, and probably connected to the issue, I am able in plexampt to select sonos as the device to cast to, but the tracks remain mute or get skipped. Any hints what I should do very appreciated. 

Did the work around by sharing folders work for anyone? I got Sonos to add one shared folder but then it wouldn't index the music in the folder. Still no access to mudic from my PC or external drives.

Hi,After searching for an artist on Deezer, one of the options available is to play their “top tracks”. On the old S2 app this worked fine. I could search for the artist, select “top tracks” and then “play” or “shuffle play”.On the new Sonos app, I can get to the artist “top tracks” on Deezer, but then it only appears to let me play one track at a time. I can play a track, but once that track is finished it won’t move on to the next one. It just stops playing anything.Is this user error, bug, or planned feature? Can you advise how I can play an artist’s top tracks on Deezer please?Thank you.

Please please please restore SMBv1, you probably have no idea how many Sonos users you have silenced. Before the May update music played fine, no issues, no machines compromised, no security issues, no loss of password, it just worked. Every Sonos user I know has had access to their local libraries dropped, without their permission due to loss of SMBv1 support. Many did not realize what SMBv1 was, their system just worked. Even me didn’t realize, as it just worked, select music and press play...music played. Come May update, libraries gone, no way to reconnect. Surely it is up to us the users if we want to enable/disable SMBv1 support not Sonos ? Don’t give me that bollards of “they must move on...” my new Android V14 phone connects fine to SMBv1 share, my Window 11 connects fine so why not Sonos ?  Very very disappointed in Sonos behaviour. I even wrote a review of Sonos speakers on a major retailers

After the latests app update I can finally search my local music (NAS).However, the playlists there will not play? Any solutions to that…? Thanks!PS: Also I have to restart the app again and again because the app loses ‘sight’ of the NAS… sad.

After the well done marketing add campaign (The Sonos app has been redesigned and is better than ever), the installation of the new app deleted all my TuneIn Radio stations which contained the URLs.How can I add the stations URL again to the new app ?

Thank you...this appears to be an ongoing unanswered questionIn the iPhone app [and Mac app] one can set and apply individual volumes for all speakers in a group.Let us assume that the group volume is 6 with room volumes between 2 and 10 all remembered and workingOne can turn music / radio etc on and off and volumes are remembered.When setting alarm one picks a room then groups the rooms to be included and sets volume a 6Alarm when activated at time requested resets all room volumes to 6This is simply not good enough and needs to be addressed.If it works under normal conditions of turning music on and of at grouped but individual volumes then surely this setting should also be easily controlled in the same way with the alarmAgain, Many Thanks

Sonos- What have y’all done?  I just did the update a few minutes ago and now my library will not play.  It continues to say Unable to browse music.  This is absolute nonsense.  And, to boot, my speakers keep ungrouping now.It is now mid July and I have seen no improvements- I did see crossfade has been added to the app but you still can’t do anything with music queues.  The app is extremely slow after this last update.Do you just not care about your customer base?  I have ten SONOS speakers and now I am back to square one with streaming music from Amazon, etc.  UNACCEPTABLE.

This is the email I’ve sent to the CEO in response to his message from yesterday - please show your support if you agree.  Dear Mr Spence,Thank you for this email and public acknowledgment of the incredible challenges SONOS have caused to their loyal customers who usually have several of your products at home. I appreciate the efforts your company is undertaking to fix all the bugs as quickly as possible, nevertheless there is one point that I believe does not receive sufficient attention i.e. your decision to block support for local libraries over SMBv1.Indeed, it might not be the latest standard and it has some vulnerabilities, but in isolated environments like local home networks of majority of your customers these vulnerabilities do not pose material threat because a) there is no access to internal network from outside and b) the only content that would get potentially compromised is the music library, so really nothing confidential.

Following the update I cannot get my preferred radio stations to play, even through the new search function.

Concerning the new Sonos app, I can’t find a way to have Sonos play or shuffle all the tracks in my Tidal collection. I can play and shuffle all tracks in a playlist, but not all the tracks in the collection like I could do with the old Sonos app.Am I missing something?Mark

After Update 80.00.20 all devices are Not available.With the old 16er Version everything was Fine.S2 with sub,Playbar,play3 and move.the devices are available in my Spotify App.In Sonos s1app are the devices viewable ….   IOS iPhone 15max pro

I have 2 different Sonos systems using s2 one at home and one at work after I connect to one the next day the other one doesnt automatically connect i have to Find the system.
