Controllers and Music services

I have several Sonos products in my home. None of my devices will connect to my products. This seems to have happened after the last update for my Apple iPhone and iPad. I have talk to support they were supposed to be getting back to me last week and I have not heard back from them

Are web links (http://*) supported in Music Library external m3u/pls playlists?When I try playing these internet streams, I get “Unable to add songs to the queue”.I have m3u playlists working with local files (on a nas), and the same custom radio stations work from TuneIn, but I would really like to be able to maintain custom internet radio station links (Digitally Imported premium etc) in an external file, instead of the clunky interface for adding radio stations manually one by one in the Sonos controller apps, with no grouping.The playlist files work in other applications, but apparently not on Sonos (S1).I’ve tried searching for this, but couldn’t find any descriptions or problems matching.

I have multiple Sonos systems.Update to S1 app failed.  None of the Sonos systems will work.Unplugged and reconnected all Sonos -- did not resolve Factory reset Sonos systems - did not resolve Reinstalled S1 app - cannot find any Sonos systems Rebooted router (although was functioning fine) - no help.Out of ideas.   

When starting the Sonos S2 app, all the speakers used to play in unison. Now, in order for them to play music, I’d have to click the main volume button and individually adjust the volumes for each of the speakers. Why is this happening now? Was there a system update that affected this? I have 10+ speakers with a boost system in the middle of all of them.

iPhone app is working but S1 and S2 are not. Error message is: You need to setup at least one product to get the music started.I have sub, 2 Play 3 and one Play 1 playing music via the iPhone app.Thanks!Ben 

The new app seems to leak of a feature that was previously working fine on Android devices: if I want to tune a single speaker volume previously I was able to use the up/down devide buttons to move the volume bar, after selecting (touching) a single volume bar of a speaker, now the only way is to move you finger on the screen but this is not going to be a “fine tune” against using the buttons

One of my two sonos sl speakers is still connected but doesn't play music when system is activated. The other speaker plays fine. I can't figure out how to fix this.  Most FAQs refer to network or router issues. This is not the problem.

I live in family of four and each one of us loves to listen to different kind of music on different platforms. Some like to listen to radio and some like to listen to music from Spotify or Apple music for example. Sonos did great job with flexibility. We can make queue from music that is on different platforms and you can even combine it with music from your computer.  I personally listen to music using sonos everyday at particular time. It became a habit for me. But when you do this everyday , the selection of music is not new everyday, so I add the same songs to queue everyday for some time. And it is annoying to do it everyday since my whole family is using that one device and the queue is constantly changing.  It would be awesome to do something like pre-selected queues that you can customize and add as much as you want and just replace the whole current queue with your personalized queue with just one click so you dont have to click through all that stuff to make your same queue e

Is it possible to stop controller access to music stored on my android phone. And play only music stored on my pc?At the moment sonos seems to pick up anything stored on my micro sd card on my phone. I would rather it didn't. 

with the upgrade from S1 to S2 controller app on Mac OS, the Sonos app stops when the computer goes into sleep mode.  This never happened with S1.  How can this be resolved?

Bit confused reading several threads on subject. I have a few empty playlist under "on this mobile device" I can't remember how I made them I'm afraid, but just cannot seem to delete them, also they are empty. Its possible I imported them. Also the "genre" search on "this mobile device" show many genres, but again are all empty.... Album/artist ect shows all as normal.I can't find the names of the empty playlists anywhere on my phone or on my pc.I believe i have an identical copy of songs on both my pc and mobile phone.Can anyone point me in the right direction to delete the empty playlists permanently, and restore if possible the genre folder to show my music. 

why isn't there a possibility when you push the same botton twice(play button for example) you can switch between the last 2 played playlists(radio/playlist, for example).If there is a function like this I'd would like to hear how to set it up!, 

Hi,So this might be just me and my OCD but, I’d really like a (mostly pointless) feature within the controller apps to be able to click a button (double-tap or something, I’m not saying _how_ it should be done) and have all the volume levels lined up across all grouped speakers.When the family all leave the house and it's just me home, I like to crank up the volume across all speakers but the thing that I find annoying (it really is trivial) is having the volume levels not quite all the same.  Forget the relative volume of each speaker, I just want to have the levels all lined up.Cheers

When I use Sonos search to look for playlists, it only finds public playlists by other people not my own private playlists and services like Spotify and YouTube music and tidal. I am able to see the playlist if I use the browse function from the top menu but that's much slower. Is there any way to make this work? Thanks.

As per the title really. The controller app can still see and play on all my speakers but only when it’s in close proximity to a Sonos One (not an old Play:1) speaker. So I can’t control sets of speakers from my phone when I’m in the same room as them!Nightmare when playing musical statues at my son’s 9th birthday party last week!Any suggestions as to how or if I can fix this? I understand that you can’t make a stereo pair between Play:1s and Ones so that won’t help.Cheers.

Hi there, how do new music apps get added to the list that can be played through Sonos speakers? Have an app that i use but can't get it to play via Sonos  system.Cheers

I know Sonos does not currently support high quality Flacs. With S2 being a thing for a while now I am curious if there are any plans to start supporting higher quality Flac files? I guess this is mostly a question to Sonos staff, and I know it has been asked before. Just curious if anything has changed since then.

Is there away to tell sonos to recognize subfolders in when setting up Music Library Settings? 

As title said. Recently connected music from one laptop and had no issues. Trying to add from a 2nd laptop on same network and cant do it. I have read many threads about the SMB issues and have tried all the fixes detailed in those threads to no avail. Any support would be great. Sometimes when I go to play an album through Sonos from my Apple music library I find that the odd track is “greyed out” and is skipped when playing the album. Here is an example:  Track 6 from this album is missing when viewed from Sonos. However if I go to the same album in iTunes, or the native Music app on my iPhone or iPad, the track is present and plays normally. It is only missing when viewed from Sonos. This particular album is in my library by virtue of iTunes Match, and I can’t see anything different about this track. All tracks show up in iTunes as “Matched” and I can’t see anything unusual about track 6.I am aware that Apple sometimes block individual tracks so that they cannot be played from Apple Music, but this does not appear to be one of those cases. It is fine in Apple Music.

I have a turntable (With a built in preamp) with a USB line out connection. Would it work to run a USB to Ethernet converter to a Sonos One speaker in order to play the record player through my connected Sonos system? I know I can run line in through the Amp or Play 5, but don’t have a need for another speaker nor a desire to drop 650 bucks on Amp to use it for no other reason than as a bridge. 

Hi all, i just bought a Sonos system with the Arc, sub and Sonos one.iblove them all!my questions it’s when playing music, is it possible to play only with the Sonos one as Stereo system without the sub and the soundbar? thank you.

Anybody else getting the problem when Apple Music lists fails to sync with Sonos. In particular ‘recently added’ not showing up in the Sonos app? Really frustrating and driving me back to my physical collection and alternative set ups.

Can you please make the YTM playlist simply sort alphabetically? Anything would be better than the random order presented currently. Thanks
