Out of no where my sons iOS Sonos s1 app stopped working. I Uninstalled the app and reinstalled, still can not find it on the wifi network. All other apps on iOS and Android is still working.I'm choosing connect to existing system, then I keep pressing "I can't find the the button" until I have one that work with one of my Sonos devices. Tried both the first wired device and one Un-wired. But it still don't find the Sonos system!?
Please allow Pocketcasts users to play podcasts at variable speed via Sonos.
Why am I getting advertising (an ad) when I turn on my radio using TuneIn?
If you only have 2 rooms, you can’t put them into a group. If you can’t put them into a group you can’t set an alarm to play from both of them at once. The minimum of 3 rooms makes sense in all other contexts as it adds no benefit when ad-hoc grouping of them is only one tap away from Now Playing, and you can tell a voice assistant to play on all speakers. However in the alarm context it means you can’t do something that should be possible. The limitation on room grouping is obviously an arbitrary setting, simply remove the restriction please so we can play an alarm in our two rooms.
Hi - I am trying to add my FLAC file collection to Sonos which is now stored on OneDrive but I receive the error message ‘is no longer available’. Is it possible to link to OneDrive on my MacBook without all the files being downloaded to my HD or not? If not - can you recommend a workaround? (I have the same files on my LAN in WD MyCloud which doesn't work either, or I could add them to my iMac but Sonos doesn’t seem able to find this machine on the same network!) Appreciate any pointers please…(Used to work fine when I had the files stored on my PC but that one is now on the scrap-heap...)
I want to use my pc audio wirelessly on my sonos system.i.e when I´m playing audio from different sources. youtube, vimeo etc.I have play one and play five. thanks in advance.
The Sonos EQ setting are very nested with in the application it feels. They require multiple button presses to access which is annoying to say the least. The Bose application has a simple floating bubble located with in the application that has your connected device in it. When pressed you have instant access to EQ and other features for that device. Something similar in the Sonos App would be nice to see.
So say I use hi res tidal or Qobuz on sonos connect (s2 capable) and use the digital out to an external DAC will I get hi res audio?
I haven't been able to find the option yet in the SONOS App but it is easily found in the Bose App and most other apps that open a native version of an application . In the Bose app you see a button that just say “Open Spotify” and it will take you to the actual application even though the Bose app also has a native spotify functionality.
I have my music library on my iMac, but I have to be logged on to my account to play music through my iPad. Why do I need to be logged on to play the music? If the iMac is on then surely I should be able to access the music. Hope someone can help.thanks.

I am using 2 iphone and 1 ipad (all iOS 14.2), 2 macbook pro (both macOS Catalina), all of them are unable to connect.I tried doing factory reset on both sonos one, reset the router (Xiaomi wireless router 4A). It’s probably right in front of my eyes but for some reason I can’t seem to find the podcasts section when I browse the Spotify source in this newest sonos for windows app? I could have sworn there was a podcasts section after I tap into spotify but now all I see is playlists, songs, albums when I go to my library. Has it been removed?
He recibido un correo de SONOS que me aconsejan seis emisoras, el problema es que no encuentro ninguna de ellas en el buscador de emisoras
Hi. I had a power cut for thirty minutes. After it came back on my two play fives and one sub had disconnected from each other and are no longer displaying the trueplay icon in the app, even when rejoined. They have been previously set up for trueplay. All other speakers in my setup are showing their icons as usual and behaving as they previously did. I have another sub with my arc and that is fine. Any ideas as I want to reset with trueplay but have no option to do so. Thanks
We want to listen to Spotify on our Sonos and listen to a different Spotify stream on another device,I have a Spotify Duo plan in which I am the plan manger and my wife is a plan member. We want Sonos to use her member account to listen to her music while I listen to my podcasts on my manager account. How do we set this up. I’ve looked at family account advice but it wasn’t than useful.
Hi,my app constantly loses connection to the app. It won’t log onto it meaning I can’t play music on my system, or if I’m lucky enough to be able to play music then it disconnects so I can’t change track or volume, rendering my expensive system completely useless. You will come back to me and blame my wifi I’m sure, however nothing else drops out as much as Sonos… it’s happening very often now.please can someone help? if it is WiFi… then would a Sonos boost help? thank you
Bit of a wierd one. I have a few Sonos playlists I’ve created. I want to play the playlist. Normally on my Android (S2) app I navigate to the ‘My Sonos’ page where I can see ‘Recently Played’, ‘Playlists’ and ‘Stations’ . The playlist I want to play is under the ‘Playlists’ section.A couple of times recently the ‘Playlists’ section has just disappeared. Not sure how many times but previously restarting the app or going away coming back the section reappears. This morning it didn’t. So I just had the ‘Recently Played’ and ‘Stations’ sections. Tried on my wife’s phone - same issue. I just couldn’t find a way to find and play the playlist. I tried the ‘edit’ on the My Sonos page but it didn’t offer me any option to add or remove the Playlist section just the Recently Played and Stations. In the end I started the Windows app on my PC. Selected the playlist under the Sonos Playlist section. It played. The ‘Playlists’ section miraculously appeared back on the My Sonos part of my Android app!!A
I have another Play 1 that I want to add to my system of 3 existing Play 1s. I am currently unable to do this without upgrading to S2. From the S1 App System>Add New Hardware > Recommended Upgrade to S2 (no option to bypass). Given all of the horror stories that I have read about the flakiness of the S2 launch, I want to wait a few months to let Sonos get the bugs out before upgrading. I have no desire to have to spend hours with tech support or fiddling with something that is already working. Is there a workaround for this? If not, this goes against what Sonos has promised by allowing users to keep their existing systems on S1.
Perhaps i’m being dim here, but has Play Next been removed from the S2 app? In S1 I could press and hold a track and get a Play Next option, but that no longer works. has it been moved or removed?
Hi - I moved from the UK to China and now want to use QQ Music through my SONOS system as well. Reading through some articles here I understand I have to use Qplay on QQ Music, be connected to the same WiFi with Sonos and my smartphone and set the location to China in profile on sonos.com. I also updated to the S2 controller.Did all of that - but it still cannot see Sonos on Qplay. Any suggestion highly welcome - I am struggeling!thanksChris

Hi all:Version 0..2.0 of SoCo-CLI, the open source Sonos command line controller for Windows, macOS and Linux, is now available:https://github.com/avantrec/soco-cli/blob/v0.2.0/README.mdThis version adds improved speaker discovery, direct control of whether a device’s buttons are enabled, whether Trueplay is active (where applicable), and whether Fixed Volume is active for Port and Connect devices. These add to an already huge range of Sonos control functions accessible via the command line, for use in scripts and other automation scenarios. For those who prefer programming directly in Python, version 0.21 of the SoCo Python library also released today, with improved speaker discovery including the ability to discover and control multi-household systems.https://github.com/SoCo/SoCo/releases/tag/v0.21
When we have people over, we play Sonos in several rooms but not all. But every time I have to walk around and set the volume levels for each room. Through your app please make it so I can save and label different group and volume combinations. so that I am one click away from starting an event. Maybe this favorite is simply another labeled room with the ability to have default volume level. And one social event will require different grouped rooms and volumes than the other. So lets recap. (1) The ability to create permanent groupings of rooms. (2) The ability to set the starting volume levels for rooms and these configured groups of rooms. (3) and the ability to set the max volume of rooms and groups of rooms, I read this in another thread and someone with kids knows what I am talking about. Maybe this is not the forum to get support for this issue I am not sure the percentage of Sonos owners who actually use this forum, this is my first post and I am sure this is not the o
