Use local library with Google Assistant

I want to use Google Assistant to play my local library, but it seems to be only able to start / stop music. Is there a way to ask Google to play a specific song from my library like it would from Deezer or another service ?

No, unfortunately, any voice assistant does not have the capability to look at and parse the data in local drives, most likely due to privacy laws across the globe. It’s hoped that Sonos’ purchase of their own voice processing company last year might eventually bear fruit and allow that to happen, since it would be a single, rather than multiple vendors, but that is complete speculation on my part.
