So I ran a diagnostic and Sonos tech team have confirmed that my Playbase WiFi card is faulty which seems to be a common issue for all Playbase’s which have now been discontinued. I understand my warranty has run out but Sonos should make good on manufacturing faulty products, particularly given the premium we pay in price. I’ve paid a premium for a supposedly premium Sonos product, it’s not unreasonable to expect that product to work for the purpose in which it is intended, for more than 10 years. This is not a warranty issue, but a fault in manufacturing issue. Sonos should stand behind its brand and replace all faulty products, similar to what a product recall would provide. What resolution did Sonos offer those with the same issue? I’ve read threads where a replacement product was offered despite the warranty period expiring. I’ve been offered a measly 30% discount to buy a replacement which is going to cost thousands of dollars. I’ve requested my complaint to be escalated… imawai
Hey all, Looking for advice on arranging a new set up using a Connect:Amp Gen 2. I have a garage that I would like to have 2 indoor speakers, and 2 outdoor speakers (already there, Polk Atrium 4, all 8 Ohms). Some considerations:Would like to independently be able to control the max volume indoor vs outdoor, sound playing at the same time. Was planning on running the speaker line through 2x SVC100 to control the 2 pairs of speakers. I would prefer not to have the Connect:Amp located in the garage due to dust, insects, and cold weather. So was thinking of putting it about 50-60 feet away within the house.Based on that, I was thinking of the following:Run a Left & Right 14g wire 60 feet from Connect:Amp to a gang box. Splice the lines into 2 for each Left/Right, and feed them into each separate SVC100 Run 15 feet of 16g to each of the 2 speakers for each knob.Would this cause any issues or should I do something different. For instance, run 4 seperate wires from the Connect:Amp as de
Just replaced my Sonos CONNECT (wired set up) with Sonos Port (using wi-fi instead). I also have 10 Sonos:1’s, all on wi-fi. So I’m not using SonosNet anymore. The Sonos Port is connected and the app seems to think everything is fine after its setup. It’s output is connected to my receiver’s input, but there’s no sound coming out of the receiver’s speakers (the Sonos CONNECT worked fine prior). Sound is coming out of the rest of my Sonos speakers as usual. The network map shows all the Sonos speakers as being green. The Sonos Port is in white and says “Noise Floor: 0, 0, 0, 0 undefined” Anyone know what’s wrong here?
My Sonos amp has no power light, reset is not working. I have tried alternative power cords
Will a pair of ERA 100 play stereo out of a sonos port hard wired into a non sonos turntable. Nothing else is on the Port line. I have the port connected to S2 App.
I bought some of the first generation, Sonos equipment, and now my wireless speaker transmitter has apparently failed. I have ordered a replacement Power cord, and hope that will take care of the problem, but if it doesn’t, what do I do? The Sonos website no longer seems to offer a wireless speaker transmitter. Any advice that you guys could give would be appreciated.
Howdy!I have a 4 speakers that are wired parrallel with 2 conductors to my amp location. Question: Should I hook up with wires on the left or right terminals? Or should I wire nut two cables from left and right Into the parrallel speaker run? Thank you!

I wanted to share my deeply frustrating experience with Sonos in the hope that others are aware of the declining product quality and customer service. On January 9, 2025, I purchased a refurbished Sonos Amp directly from sonos.com. As a long-time Sonos customer, I was initially pleased with the fast delivery and easy setup. However, within hours, issues began:The Amp glitched with a digital loop (like a stuck CD), requiring a factory reset. An hour later, it blasted a loud squeal at full volume, forcing me to pull the power plug.Concerned, I immediately contacted Sonos support to request a replacement, but instead of offering one, they asked me to reset and retest the faulty unit—a risk I wasn’t willing to take with my speakers. After a week of back-and-forth, Sonos finally agreed to a replacement, but their merchant payment system failed, preventing me from using their advanced exchange service. After another week, I reluctantly agreed to a standard return, which then got stuck at cust
Can I hard wire connect two audio sources simultaneously, such as a turntable and a CD or other audio player, to Amp? Amp only has one line in option and I hate the idea of plugging and unplugging every time. And I'm too cheap to buy two amps. Or even an amp and Port.My first thought would be to use amp for one input and use one of my Era100s for another, which would then stream to all of my aero 100s and move simultaneously. Would this be the best avenue or is there another? An audio input switcher or splitter? Would prefer not to use Bluetooth.
I’m having trouble connecting the boost to my system
when I play music that has a strong beat my volume controllers vibrate enough to sound like they are keeping time to the beat. ANy thoughts on how to solve this issue?
I have purchased a brand new AMP I need to use it on an S1 network so I have downgaded it following the official Sonos description, after a short while it stops playing music and starts to flash white and orange. The problem is worst if I use an online music source but it also happens with line in.I have tried to return to S2 where the problem does not happen, then I returned to S1 and the problem happend again.I have tried to connect to my router and switch off wi-fi, but it did not make a difference.I use the Android app here is what is in Sonos-appinfo:Version 11.15Sonos OS S1Build 572259130Here is what is in Sonos-systeminfo for the AMPHardware 1.24.1.19-2.2.Serie-ID: A110Is there any configuration changes I can do to prevent this problem ?(Upgrade to S2 is not an option at the moment I have still too many devices only supporting S1)
This topic is older and might not have the most up to date information. Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. Hi there, I am so fed up with your buggy systems I can't even describe the level of frustration. I am using the latest version of the app on Android as of now and for no apparent reason the app does not recognize the set up system anymore (my wife's phone and app does and works no problem). I tried to reconnect to the system but says it doesn't find any devices on the network (which obviously isn't true - see screenshot) I am sitting next to a Sonos One and following instructions on how to reconnect pressing button on the back - but no doesn't find the system sitting right next to it. I don't want to go through the process of reinstalling the app and setting up the whole system again for the x time - it costs half an hour each time and at the price of your products we should be able to expect that you can employee at least one software engineer
Does any body know any integrated amplifier that supports sonos port volume control pass-through?
I have the Ray Soundbar and was able to find Radio connections. Everything works. But how can I connect my IPhone Mediathek with Sonos. Both systems are in the same W-LAN
I have 2 sonance amps but can’t them to play together. I have the option to switch from one amp to the other but each time I do, the itherone disappears from the group setup. Any thoughts how to get visibility to both amps at same time on appamd play same music for both?
So, I have a system set up in a residence. Approx. 7 Port devices that are connected to a multi-channel amp and wired analog speakers. The Ports are connected through wireless network. Music works fine...the issue I am having is that I am trying to extract HDMI/optical audio from a TV and line it back in through a Port so I can listen to the TV sound over the speakers in that zone. That does work, but there is a few seconds delay between the tv sound and the Sonos Port speakers. In doing a little research, I think there should be a setting available on the app to set an audio delay for the specific Port I am working with. That option doesn’t seem to be available though.I have a similar setup at my office, and I have older Connect devices there. Regardless, the audio delay setting option is there for that line-in setting. I assume Port devices should have that option as well?Is there anything obvious I am missing why I don’t have the audio delay option for this line-in TV setup?
I am planning to replace all my wired speakers (except one outside pair) and my Marantz amp with the Sonos system. I have an AKAI reel-to-reel which I would like to keep and have functioning. How can I do this with a Sonos system? How do I push Sonos through my outdoor wired speakers? thank you
I currently have Sonos amp paired with kef ls50 and Sonos sub.My tv is HDMI connected to amp, phono is on line in. I would like to build atmos setup. Will I be able to use amp and kefs in that setup if I get beam and two eras? Beam and amp/kefs would be in front and eras back? Will I be able to listen music only in stereo on amp/ kefs and sub? tnx :)
My amp only has a white light that keeps flashing when I try to reset it and I can't and it won't let me connect it to the network. I've already tried to reset it by connecting it to the network via cable and the white light keeps flashing slowly.
Does anyone know how to connect Klipsch the Sevens, to the Sonos Port?
I made a mistake and transferred the patio Sonos amp to the Living Room amp through an option presented on the Sonos app and didn’t realize the living room amp was unplugged. Now I am trying to restore the amp back to the patio and can not seem to make this change.
