 Hi All.I have been a very happy Sonos user for about 13 year.Playbar for my TV - flawless and nice (would be nice if the RF remote to my Samsung could control volume on the Playbar, but I can live with using the IR remote for that)For Hifi I have been running:Sonos Connect with optical/toslink to Denon AVR-2800 KEF XQ20 (great compact speakers) B&W ASW610 SubNow I decided it was time to go one step the Sonos ladder, so last week I got myself a Sonos AMP.That meant cutting away the Denon+ Connect, and going max on user friendliness, something my wife would highly appreciate, while maintaining (what I expected to be) great sound quality coming off the AMPs Class-D amplifier.When first time powering up the system, my jaw dropped. What a poor experience in terms of sound harmony. The calm and collected, firm, harmonic music experience I have be enjoying the past 2-3 years in our new house with an impressively efficient ceiling was gone. Now I felt something like harsh sounding vocals

I intend to use one of these to power my amp on/off using the 12V trigger from the port.    AUDIOPHONICS Trigger 12V 230V Slave Power Supply Device   Assume this will work and the amp will power off 2 mins after music stops as per previous topic?

System: I have a 2017-vintage Connect that ties a Marantz receiver + Integra power amp + several in-wall wired speakers to three Play 1s and a Move. (Essentially, we had a wired house before I integrated it with Sonos.) It’s unclear to me what benefit I will get from trading in the Connect for a Port. The trigger is of limited benefit because the Marantz amp is usually already on. Sounds like S2 will offer support for Tidal Masters (nice, not sure it’s worth the upgrade) and some as-yet undefined other improvements to the user interface.  How are other Connect owners thinking about the cost/benefit of shelling out $300 for a Port? It’s just not clear to me what I will get in return for the outlay. Thanks 

I am placing 6 amps in a home run cabinet and wanted recommendations on CFM air flow recommendations? 2 amps per 2U rack. I bought one of these yesterday but it doesn’t seem to do what I expected it to do. When I pair it with a speaker, and then group that speaker with other speakers, the remote then controls the overall volume of the group, not the volume of that individual speaker within the group. So it doesn’t behave like the volume control buttons on a speaker, as suggested by airgetlam in this (locked) thread: https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-software-228995/sonos-speakers-are-getting-a-cheap-ikea-wireless-controller-6826398 How can I configure this device to control only an individual speaker, even when it is part of a group of speakers?  Or is that simply not possible?  If so then I am quite disappointed.  I usually have the same music playing all over the house as I wander around, and my plan was to have one of these in each room.  But if each one will simply change the overall volume for the entire group, it wouldn't really work.

Hi everyone, The kids (with the wife’s help) got me Bluetooth enabled Turntable for father’s day. I am wondering what would be the best way for me to use this with my Sonos system? I own a couple beams and the move (we also have the HomePod and Alexa). Do I need to get a Five or One SL to connect the turntable to then stream to the rest of the speakers? 

Hi all-  This may have been answered in a thread already, but I’m gonna go ahead and throw it out…I just purchased a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB turntable – build amp & BT.  I also purchased the Sonos One wired speaker – I thought this would have a re-chargeable battery – apparently it doesn’t but I’ll address that separately.I cannot get the turntable to connect with the speaker so I guess I’m missing something.  The turntable will connect, thru BT, with my TV sound bar, but I want it to connect with the Sonos speaker so I can move the speaker wherever in my home I’d like while I re-live listening to vinyl records.Can someone tell me what I’m missing… please??in advance for the help…

I just setup 2x Dali Motif LCR speakers with a Sonos Amp. The Dali speakers are nice and precise, but they have almost no low-frequency capability. I dug up an old Jamo passive subwoofer that has stereo input with normal speaker connectors (eg it has 4 connector). It is designed to pass the sound to two satellite speakers ( i guess it has some frequency filter internally), so it also has 4 output speaker terminals.Obviously I cannot connect it as a normal active sub, but I can connect it as a normal stereo speaker set.So basically I have 4 speaker cables, and I am wondering if its best to connect all 4 to the speaker terminals on the Amp, or if I should connect only the subwoofer, and then connect the Dali speakers to the subwoofer.

Need to know if there is a replacement grill for them sonus move 

Hi all, I preordered an ARC and a Sub Gen 3 to replace a fairly old set up consisting of an AVR plus center speaker and two small left and right speakers. I want to declutter and get rid of the big AVR to safe space and simplify my setup. I already own two Sonos Ones which I can potentially use as rears for the setup to make a 5.1 system. I will definitely get the ARC as I don’t have much space by the TV (its wall mounted) and need a fairly “flat” speaker that fits wall-mounted below the TV. Since I would also like a good setup for some music listening I was thinking about adding two nice stereo speaker to this setup (I’m no strict audiophile but do like good sound). Those additional speakers would most likely sit left and right of the TV and face the sofa. However, my dining table is directly behind the sofa, where my wife and I also spend a good amount of time. So we would also consider putting those speaker behind the sofa and aim them more at the dining table (in this case the sp

Hi - is there a way to connect a Sonos Port with some sort of Bluetooth transmitter (that in itself can be paired with a high end Bluetooth speaker system in a hot tub that has it’s own device name and needs a pairing code)? Very frustrating trying to get my whole house Sonos System to connect with this hot tub.  The reason I want it to connect is we have other outdoor Sonos speakers, and we want to use our Sonos library in the hot tub. Any help appreciated.  The Hot tub does not have any auxiliary input connection capability that I can find. 

Hi all! Just wonder how the SONOS fans will use their SONOS PORT? For me, I found that the following connections could help me to resolve the problems and achieve what originally failed to… just would like to share here: AUX output - nothing special, just connected with my BOSE Companion 20 (computer speakers set) Digital output (Coaxial output) - I connected it with a Bluetooth transmitter, so I can stream the music or TV sound to my Bluetooth headphones. AUX input - I connected it with Chromecast Audio, so I can stream/cast whatever music from my mobile to my SONOS system.

Wondering how concerned I need to be if I wanted to pair the Polk RC80i with the Sonos Amp?  Max power on the Polk is (recommended amplifier power: 20-100 watts)  Will this setup work given the amp puts out 125 watts? thanks!

Afternoon all, read few older posts on similar subject but I have a slightly different angle on the question I think.Have a gym (in garage) with a Sonos Connect Amp, A Panasonic TV RCA linked to the Sonos & a pair of B&W 801’s which have done great service over the years when doing rowing etc.But new neighbour objects to the noise … it is considerable in fairness and my choice in music is shall we say wide!I need to start using some decent wireless headphones and these new Sony ones seem well regarded.My question is how best to do in general? I use NAS fed FLAC files and are getting drawn into streaming services. The CA is RJ45 linked as is all my Sonos stuff. I also watch NAS stored video music/live using the AUX link and sometimes just TV.Agree with older posts that I’d rather use proper speakers than headphones but the choice is not there this time. Don’t need any multi room on that part of my Sonos.Never used any headphones before let alone wireless. Could use some advice h

I have read many posts but not found a definitive answer! We currently have a simple, no amp turntable and a sonos sound bar/beam. Investing in one of (no idea which) Sonos amp to connect this vinyl player seems very expensive. Can anyone confirm that if we buy the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable That we would NOT need to buy any other device to connect the turntable to the sound bar?    

I have a very nice Paradigm Sub that is not hooked up to anything.  I am considering adding a Sonos Sub to my Sonos system or I am considering buying a Sonos Amp and using my Paradigm 12” Subwoofer to enhance my system.  I am currently only using my Sonos system for music.  I currently have a Sonos Five and a pair of Sonos One’s in the living room, a second pair of Sonos Ones in the Bedroom and a Sonos Move.  My TV’s are a little older and don’t have the HDMI ARC ports.  My TV’s are currently using a Sound bar and wireless Sub for the TV Sound.  I think the Amp and my Paradigm Subwoofer provide me with more options to connect for a Home Theatre sound when I get new TV’s, but I like all of the Sonos products.  So looking for suggestions as to which setup might provide the best sound for Music.  Thanks

I’ve got a Sonos Port setup with my Onkyo 585.  This is a Works With Sonos reciever. Issue 1: When I go to the “Works With Sonos” setting on the Onkyo, it says “No Sonos Connect Found”.  I don’t have a Connect, I have a Port.  Both the Onkyo and the Port are on the same WiFi network.  How do I get my Onkyo to recognize my Port? Issue 2:  When I play something through the Port, I can’t adjust the volume on the Onkyo.  When i put the setting on Variable I get no sound.  When i put the setting on Fixed, i get sound through the Onkyo, but it’s fixed at a setting of 51 (that i set) but i can’t adjust it with the Onkyo knob or remote.  How can I adjust the volume when using the Port? Thanks!

My first Sonos product was a Playbar which at the time required the Bridge. All subsequent products I’v purchased are Sonos 2 compatible and I want to migrate to that. The list of my products show only the Bridge has a warning that Sonos 1 is required. Am I correct then is concluding that my Playbar no longer needs the Bridge to work with my system and I can disconnect the Bridge. I want to use my Playbar occasionally as part of a whole house group and it seems if the Playbar requires the Bridge that won’t be an option and that will now be a stand alone component.

I have a Sonos Arc and 2 Ikea Sonos Lamps for surround sound.I recently introduced a Sonos Port in order to bring my Pro-Ject turntable into the Sonos system. It works great. No complaints.My question is this-Can I add a wired Subwoofer to my system by using the A/V outputs on the Sonos Port? Will the Sonos system recognise it as a Sub and make the appropriate adjustments across the system?I do eventually want to add a Sonos Sub but I have already gone beyond my budget for stereo equipment.  A lower priced wired sub would be ideal for me right now, and help justify the cost of the Port.For anyone interested- I can confirm that you can add any normal self-powered speaker to the Sonos System via the a/v output, so if for instance you want to add another soundbar you can do that. Although Sonos won't know where it fits into a surround sound array. I am not sure how subs work, so not sure if it's just a matter of plug and play. Or if subs need a specific signal. 

As it looks the new AMP will only be available in black. This makes me very disappointed as I would have loved to commission my old (white) Connect Amp installed in my kitchen and have it replaced with the new Amp. I have all speaker cables wired to a spot were I keep the Connect Amp very visible on a (white) counter top. I only have white and aluminium as a colour scheme. There is NO way I would buy a black one. Sonos, please reconsider in the same way you did with the Sub (that original only came in Black) and make a white Amp available. I will buy one immediately. Anyone else with the same wish?

After having my 2014 S1 bridge and connect disconnected from my stereo system for about a year I recently reconnected them.  I’m not sure if I have a problem or not.  According to the Sonos LED lights web page a flashing green light means you have a product ready to be set up.  After reconnecting the bridge to my router and then connecting the connect to my stereo system and then opening the Sonos app on my iPhone everything seems to work fine.  BUT I have a blinking green light on the top of the bridge the blinks every couple of seconds continually.   I don’t remember that happening before and my question is basically should I be concerned about the blinking light as everything seems to work? is there any way to stop it from blinking? Thanks

Hi,Like many of you, I’ve got a DJ Mixer connected to a Five using the line-in.  Then grouped the Five with all other Sonos speakers.It works … but the delay is soooo annoying.  Honestly, I don`t believe the 70ms that`s always discussed ; it`s more like 2s.Now my question ;Will a Sonos AMP be the better choice here ?So connecting my mixer to the AMP and then wireless to my speakers ?Thanks in advance !Geert.

Purchased 3 used ZP100 Amps so i can wire up some speakers in my house.  I have factory reset 2 out of 3 of them with no issues.   Process I tried. Hardwired them to my network, held mute buttom and plugged back in and the light turns amber for a bit and them i am able to find them through my sonos Ap and add them to my network.  All except for 1 of them . When trying to factory reset it the light never turns orange/amber, just keeps blinking white the whole time.  And my amp cannot find it because i’m having a problem factory resetting it.  Has anyone ran into this before or have a recommendations?  Thank you
