They are a horrible shipping service. They are always late. I want to file a complaint and I hope this goes to head of management. I would rather have you guys go with UPS, who is a much more qualified shipping option. Gosh, I would even rather go USPS over FEDEX. Can someone please give me a response because I’m seriously livid with how crappy FEDEX is! Just please give me my damn package and stop updating incorrect information for the status package and when I call for more information and updates, don’t hang up on me all the time. FEDEX is crap!
Hi. Totally new SONOS user who has not really got to grips with the power of the system yet. I am used to individual speaker Bluetooth use only, so SONOS is a huge step up for me.I have recently purchased a BEAM and love it. I want to add to my Sonos setup. Not sure where best to go next. I am not really interested in 5.1 surround sound.Looking at the deals on line, I was either thinking of buying 2 x ONE, or, 1 x ONE and 1 x MOVE. Our outdoor area has power, so we don’t need the battery speaker (MOVE) as we could plug in the ONE’s.So basically, to add to my BEAM, should I purchase 2 x ONE, or, 1 x ONE and 1 x MOVE.One thing I would like, if possible, is when using the TV, to have the TV audio coming out of additional speakers. Is this possible with either of the above options? Thanks in advance.
My recent order is not tied to my login email address? Appears as if I own no devices. No way of contacting other than this forum, the “support chat” is a dead link.
Hi,My parents are looking for a speaker which they can take to a farmhouse they own, and it needs to be able to stream music from a phone + connect a CD player or a cassette deck player.A few questions regarding the Sonos Five: with the line in on the Sonos Five, you can plug in any 3rd party tape deck or CD player into it, correct? And it should play whatever is on that cassette or CD player? The farmhouse doesn't have wifi. We have unlimited data with 100GB cap per cellular line, so we were gonna hotspot anything we needed WiFi wise. How would they go about streaming something from an iPhone to the Sonos Five without an extra router? Would 1 of the iPhones have to be turned into a hotspot, then use the other iPhone to connect to that hotspot, and then connect the Sonos that way? Or can you connect from iPhone to Sonos 5 via bluetooth?
I was gifted a Polkaudio subwoofer and I currently have a Sonos Beam, One and a Move. Do I need anything to make the sub work with existing speakers? I am thinking about getting a Port so I can hook up my turntable. Will that be enough?
Hi, I am looking to change over to Sonos for my home audio. Currently, have a Yamaha receiver powering floor speakers for both my record player and TV. Ultimately, what I would really like is if I could get audio from the record player through a Sonos speaker in another room (record player is in the living room and currently can’t be heard in the kitchen, for example). Is there a Sonos product/setup I can get that will replace the receiver, play TV audio, and connect to other Sonos speakers to transmit record player audio to other rooms? Thanks in advance for any insights.
I am thinking of buying the Sonos Ones to use in two different rooms, but would also like to be able to move them into the family room and use them as rear surrounds with my Playbar for those nights we watch a movie. Is there an easy way to do this or will I need to connect them all together and separate them again each time? Is there a way to set up speaker functions when in a group together? So that way I have each speaker as it’s own system/room but when grouped together the Ones will act as surround speakers?
I placed an order for Sonos One, Beam, Move on Nov 24, 2020. Today (Nov 30, 2020) morning, Sonos dropped the price of One from C$ 249 to C$179 (perhaps for Cyber Monday, or maybe not...). My Sonos One got shipped on Nov 26th and delivered today. Obviously, I don’t want to pay $70 more for a product that I barely just purchased and is available everywhere (Sonos website, Amazon, BestBuy, etc.) at a cheaper price. I want to understand from other experienced users in the community as to what my options are at this point? Does/will Sonos match the price on my order to their own website’s (new/dropped) price and issue me a refund equal to the price difference? I was on the Chat with a support person this morning and they said they’ve sent my request for a price difference refund to the fulfillment team, with a Case#. I think the person hinted that this is possible and will be the course of action from Sonos, however, have not explicitly mentioned that to me anywhere. From the community’s co
Hi, I have a Gen 1 Play:5 and have been considering upgrading it (with the upgrade program) to a new Beam soundbar. It would then be the main speaker in my Lounge and I know the Beam cant compete with the play:5 for sound quality. However, I also have two Play:1 that I don’t use. The question is, would Beam linked to 2 play:1 for 5.1 be comparable to the older play:5 for music quality? I thought this was a good option to get a set up for my TV whilst using the play:1s and not forking out the money buying a new Play:5. Appreciate any feedback, thanks.
I'm trying to get a turntable that we can connect to our multiple Sonos devices we have in our house. I just want to confirm that getting the Vinyl Set with the Sonos Five will allow us to connect the music to all of the other speakers we have setup, or if we would need to get a Port or Amp to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated to make sure I get the right products.
Need a 3rd speaker and am wondering if new SONOS speakers are compatible in a system of (2) Play 1’s?The existing Play 1’s work great, I stream from an Android Galaxy 10.
Hello, I know it can look like a question that has been asked dozens of times, but let me explain: I know now for sure, after all the conversations held in this forum, that 2x Ones will give you better sound than the beam. Now, my question here is, how much better?. Is it a 30% better. Just a slight increase in bass?Just enough better to give up all the convenience that the Beam gives me?I just plan to use it in my bedroom which is small. Thanks!
Can I use my trade in discount code on the reduced price move?
Is generation 1 or 2 of the sub compatible with S1 ? Want to buy but don’t want to mess with 2 different apps.
Hey guys,Just wondering if anyone has a setup similar to this before I go and purchase:Sonos Amp to iMac through the 3.5mm headphone jackIf so, do you experience any delay/sync issues when watching videos? If anyone has any insight on this I would really appreciate it thanks guys!
Hi guys, I have a Beam, 2 x One SL, Sub (Gen 3) and a Move. I have finally given into the lure of vinyl and I was wondering what the best option is for me and my current set up. The above speakers (minus the Move) are set up in my sitting room as a surround sound system - can I get a turntable that will play music through that set up? I’d need the Sonos amp or connect...right? Would this defeat the purpose of the turntable though, would if be better to get hifi speakers that I connect (analogue)? I’m a newbie to all this. Thank you.
Hi all,First post and I am considering a new SONOS setup :-)I recently moved into my flat which already has two ceiling speakers, one front and one back. What SONOS setup would you recommend to take advantage of these and provide the best home cinema experience? Please consider I have a small room and not looking to go 5.1 at this stage, so any setup will be focused around the TV. I was considering whether the Beam + Sub + Amp + existing ceiling speakers made sense.Thanks,Jag.
I know this is just a subjective individual need but what I love about this community is personal feedback on your own experiences… I am a recent ARC owner who was going to build out to 5.1 over time, after reading about the bass ‘issues’ and loving bass from my old Denon setup I ordered the Gen 3 sub which arrives this morning - very excited Now all that is left is the rear surrounds. Should I enjoy the addition of the sub for now or just get it complete with a Sonos ONE SL WiFi Speakers With Vogels Floor Stands Bundle Black? I won’t get ATMOS (for now) with my current 2016 Samsung which has ARC and the majority of watching is Netflix which is DD 5.1 in South Africa. Your views are most welcome 😊 Russ
Can I use the Arc & Sub without rear speakers? The room isn’t conducive to placing rear speakers and I am wondering if the Arc & Sub will provide enough sound on their own.
I just wanted to know what you think of this review? I simply cannot understand how it is possible that the digital output of the Sonos Port could be worse that on the Sonos Connect when set to variable?https://www.techhive.com/article/3546333/sonos-port-review.html
I am about to buy a Samsung QLED with the black friday deals but want to make sure i can:a) connect to my sonos system (new play 5’s & sonos 1) … i have a sonos port if neededb) wont have serious latency issues? c) if there are major issues what tv do you recommend sony or LG 85”? i really dont want to have to buy an arc or playbar if i dont have to.
This is my first experience with Sonos, and I expect high-end customer service with high-end products like this. Last week I placed an order for a Beam on Sonos.com, they charged my bank account $400+ but my Sonos account shows no open orders. I'm a new customer so the account shows no orders, ever. Are they having trouble right now? I see the community comments that they only bill you when the item ships, as most other companies do. Anybody else having this experience?
I just moved into a place that has two in wall rear speakers, another two behind those in the kitchen and two outdoor speakers on the patio. Needing help with the setup. If I have the arc connected to the tv via eARC, does the AMP need to be connected to tv as well or will communicate wirelessly with arc sound bar? Also, unclear on how to connect the speakers. Do I need multiple AMPs? Plan on simply playing content from tv in living room and kitchen and occasionally on the patio. There are volume controls on the wall for kitchen and patio. Thanks.
