What to get

My Sonos system has a bridge that controls a Sonos:1, Sonos: 3, Sonos Soundbar, and a Sonos Sub. Can I add a few One SL speakers to my system without any issues?

Dear community,I am happy user of Playbar, bought it last year and sound is brilliant, unfortunately I started thinking than plain playbar is not enough to get cinema sound, and here is my question, I have not much possibilities to use like some kind of satellites or so,  checked many articles and still have no idea what to add to my playbar to get 3d / surround / cinematic sound can you guys please advise what kind of speakers should I buy from Sonos as there a few types and have no idea which will match my needs, I don't think I need subwoofer as there is not much space, room is quite empty just has sofas at the back, so guys how can I make my room cinema feeling like :D  

Why is the cost of the Surround Set 1856. and if I purchase the individual units (Arc, Sub, & OneSL) the costs are cheaper at 1677. What is the difference.Thanks in advance for your help.

I already have 2 sonos one gen 2's as stereo pair and now considering buying only 1 sonos five as a backyard speaker..Is 1 sonos five enough to give better performance then 2 sonos one's g2?..im getting bored unplugging my sonos ones from my home theater setup..

Hi allI am designing the speakers for our new games room and cinema room. The layout is: a rectangular shaped room (roughly 10m x 5m) one half has a pool table and bar, the other has a large 85inch flat screen being built into the wall.  I’m looking for a system that primarily is for the TV but is also great for music.  We have sonos all over the house currently  my current thinking is a combination sub, arc and something for surround...which is where my question is; do I get in ceiling speakers and if so, how many do I need? Is the arc&sub enough for the cinema area and would two in ceiling speakers work at the back around the pool area? Or do I need 4 in ceiling  + arc and sub? final thought is if it’s 4 I need, then should I get in ceiling for all 4, or 2 wall speakers either side of the TV with 2 in ceiling at the back?thanks - any tips would be welcome!

If I understand everything correctly I can connect my Beam with a Connect:Amp. Does it matter if this Connect:Amp is gen 1 or gen 2?I use the Beam via my TV (HDMI ARC) if that would matter.

I recently purchased a home that was pre-wired with ceiling speakers in the den and outdoor speakers in the backyard. I am looking for the best surround setup with Sonos speakers. I recently purchased an Arc and an Amp. I also own a Sonos One SL that I’ve used for a few years. I am thinking about connecting the in-ceiling speakers w/ the Amp and using the Arc to get a 5.0 setup. Any other ideas? What should I do with the speakers in the courtyard? Any advice will help! I am currently helping my parents design and plan their new home sound system. The house is currently under construction and the goal is to locate and wire all sound system devices before the walls are finished. I have a sonos system in my home which they really like for the wireless aspect but they also want the capability to connect a record and CD player into the entertainment system with a 3rd party receiver (where I play all my music from streaming services). The Sonos Brexit and pragmatic ways past itThe house will have surround speakers on 2 floors (basement and main floor). I have an Amp powering four KEF Ventura 6 speakers on my patio. All four speakers face outward away from the house covering a pool area and a patio.  The back of the house is about half a mile from a highway and I sometimes hear more road noise than I like so I run the speakers a lillte loud to drown out the road noise.Can I place a Move opposite the KEFs (facing the house) and group them together to create a more “immersive” sound so I could run the KEFs at a lower volume? Will there be a lag?

What is the best way to connect a Sonos Arc with the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable?  I have no third party speakers.  I’d prefer not to buy a Sonos 5 at this time as I’d rather use my Arc exclusively.  Do I need to buy a Sonos Port to make this happen?  Is there anything I’m not considering?

Because I read in the documentation:Your speaker’s power rating should be at least 75W for 8 Ohm speakers, and at least 150W for 4 Ohm speakers. Do not connect speakers rated at less than 4 Ohms. Are these speakers to “small” to be used with the Connect:Amp? And if yes: can they be connected with the newer Amp?

Hello, so I have the following equipment and would like to link it all up and get it all working with Sonos.  I currently have a turntable with preamp connected to a Sonos 5. I also have 3rd party in-ceiling speakers built into 3 rooms in my house. These all have their own volume controls per room. There is a single RCA wall plate to connect to all the ceiling speakers. (I have only just moved into the house so I don’t know if they require an amp yet or it could be hidden away somewhere?)How can I connect my turntable to the Sonos 5 and the ceiling speakers (or potentially amp for the ceiling speakers? And also have the ability to stream music (using the Sonos app) to the Sonos 5 and in-ceiling speakers?

I am eligible to upgrade products my Pay:1 and Play:5 (Gen 1).If I did this are old ones still usable and able to group with the new products?I understand they won’t be eligible for a further discount but am just concerned getting use from the speakers and making sure they function.  

Receiving a U-Turn Orbit turntable this month and need to get a speaker(s) for it.  Turntable will have a built in phono preamp and a Ortofon Red cartridge. I’ve started into the Sonos ecosystem with a Beam for my TV and a pair of Ones (Gen 2) to place around the house. My natural thought was to get a Five and use that. My question is two part…  First will a single Five be able to compete with a pair of powered bookshelf speakers like the Audioengine A5+ or the Klipsch R51 PM?   My house is open floor plan so the Five would be feeding a decent sized space.   Secondly, how do I setup the lossless feature for the turntable feed to the Five and can I stream that same quality to my other Sonos speakers without any glitches?

I’m in the process of upgrading/trading my Gen 1 Play 5 and am seeing between and 2 speaker set of Sonos One or a single Play 5.  Which setup would work for music and also work with my Beam and TV?  Any thoughts would be helpful.  Thanks.

Hi,New on here and just looking for some advice, recently got a beam which I love but torn on which rear speakers to get?I am tempted by one SL’s as I can get discount on them and their size will help them blend in but as I don’t intend to get the subwoofer I’m also considering the IKEA Symfonisks, I’ve read these produce more bass than the one, is this correct? Their price is obviously more attractive too but the size of them not so much.Is the difference in sound quality of the ones worth the extra money when it comes to rears? Thanks 

If I purchase the Surround Set, are the One SL speakers truly wireless or will they need to be plugged into an outlet or amp?

Is it possible to pair sonos one gen 2 with sonos 5?

I am looking to set up home with a multi-room speaker system that can play the sound from my turntable to 3 different rooms. I am struggling to decide the correct pairing of components.  Things to consider: -My turntable is the Audio-technica AT-LP120, that has a built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier with RCA output cables. -I don’t have an amplifier currently connected to the turntable. -I have a friend selling a Sonos Connect and not sure if this will suffice or I should be lookng at the Sonos Amp. He is also selling an earlier model Sonos One and a Sonos Beam.  

Considering buying the Arc to complement by 55” Samsung Frame but concerned with all the negative comments in the forums regarding issues with eARC and the OneConnect box. Seems to be a real lack of comment from Sonos customer service around resolving this issue with Samsung. 

So im looking to change my tv sound system. Right now i have a bar, sub, 2 small speakers. Im tired of having so many speakers everywhere! I heard that the Arc is the new full surround sound system that plays the role of all those speakers combined. That was the opinion of a few people, but id like more opinions. My objective is to have 1 speaker that does wonders in terms of surround sound to end the clutter in the living room.thanks!!

Trying to take advantage of the Sonos (up to 30%) upgrade discount available online (upgrading from an older Five to the newer version)…  Have clicked on my existing product and website now states ‘redeemed’ (or similar) but when I go to purchase the new product via website it still seems to comes back with the ‘regular’ full-price for the product, rather than showing the reduced price (i.e. full/regular price MINUS 30% discount [in this case] therefore customer asked to enter credit/debit card for the lower-cost total price.  Anyone had a similar experience - and more importantly - know how to resolve so I can pay the reduced/discounted total ‘upgrade’ price?Many thanks. Hi guys, Wondering if anyone can help me with this:My current set up is I have a sonos Beam and a seperate old stereo/vinyl record player set up.I’m looking to upgrade my record player however to a Sony PS-LX310BT, which comes with built in phono pre-amp and bluetooth connection. I understand that I may not be able to connect the record player to my SONOS Beam, but would really like to be able to incorporate it into the vinyl set up (as the old stereo/speakers currently connected are not great..). Does anyone know of the easiest/most cost effective way of eitherConnecting the sony record player directly to the Beam orBuying another SONOS product that the sony record player will be able to connect to and will allow me to play from the Beam also. (note. the record player has line-out aswell as bluetooth connection)I’d really appreciate anyones advice as this would take my current seperate (very basic) setups to the next level.  Thanks in advance!! 

I'm a little confused over the sonos website and sales. First issue when ordered arc said was in stock then was given a date for one month after. So changed colour to one in stock. Also ordered the sub gen 3 in November given the date of 11 December. To wait to the day to call for confirmation to be told won't be untill end of January almost 2 months after my initial order and a month after the date I purchased the product knowingly. Well the question really is why not just explain these thing's on the website, as the main pretence is you will receive your product within 2 days which is deceiving even products in stock take a week to receive. Also if a product is not in stock why wait untill a customer calls asking why the date given when purchase and after has not been met infact giving a new date which is a month later than the stated date on the sale invoice.
