I’m looking to make a big purchase soon for the beam and sub mini.last year I seem to recall a 40% sale around September. Is there any information or insight into whether they will run this again?? Thanks in advance for your help.jay

Hi folks; I have a restaurant with 6 Sonos One’s in the dining room. They want to have the option of using a stereo line level sent to the Ones rather than the app. Is the AMP an option? Is there a piece of (3rd party) hardware available to stream to the One’s? Maybe a raspberry pi?The AMP would be great because then I could get them to add a couple of subs.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! TIAGlenn

I have an ARC, Sub (gen2) , and 2 Ones for rear surrounds. I have an option to make another purchase. this can either be: Option1: Era 300Option 2: second Sub (gen3) Reading some comments here, the Era300, whilst good, may not be that HUGE an upgrade vs the Ones as rear surrounds?  I am also starting to hear some distortion, rattling on my old Sub (gen2). this could be placed in the rear, and I get another Sub (gen3) for the front.  which would you think is the best bang for buck , best performance upgrade?

Hello, I would like to improve audio in my 20 m2 room. Now I´ve got two sonos era 100 set up as stereo speakers. I just listen background music troght sonos radio. I´m satisfied with bass performance, but most time I sit in the middle of the room and i would like to listen more surround music, not just from one wall. My question is if it is better to buy  beam gen 2 or 2 more era 100 speakers and place them to the opposite wall. Beam gen 2 has google asistant which I use with plenty of my smart home devices. Era 100 have in line connector and bluetooth so I can play videos from PC, but if I pair them with beam it is not functional. Now I dont have tidal or any other service to listen dolby atmos music. For the future when it will be  dolby atmos more common it is porobably better to buy beam 2? Will i get better sound from 2 era 100s with beam 2 or 4 era 100s What is your opinion, experience ? Whats the best way to connect a computer with wi-fi card, analog stereo equipment and smart tv.  I’m considering Sonos amp or port but not sure what kind of speakers would work for all the various sources.

I am told that Sonos have outdoor Google Assistant wall mounted speakers. I have power and even Cat6 data cables installed.  Speakers are to be mounted on verandah under cover with some weather exposureCan smart speakers be operated in a stereo configuration? What can anyone recommend ?

Hi - Long time owner of Sonos systems (I have two houses) but so frustrated with neither system working any longer I’m looking for any alternatives that work.  Any suggestions / recommendations?  Cost isn’t much of an issue as long as it’s similar or less to Sonos.  I don’t like just taking all this equipment to the dump but that’s what I’ll do (versus trying to sell bad systems to others or even giving them away) once I source and install new systems.  Thanks for the help!

I have numerous sonos speaker all WIFI around house I'm looking to purchase a sound bar of some type and wondered....if I buy sonos firstly can it connect via optical to tv output and secondly if it did would it the connect to other WiFi sonos speakers Note my FIVE is old gen so we have to use S1 APP not sure if that makes difference also  Help appreciated 

Hello.I have an old music system (record player, cassette and CD player) with passive speakers.*I send photos of the team.I want to be able to play the three players on the Sonos speakers and from Sonos to be able to play on the passive speakers.I want to keep choosingWhat is the best way to do it?I had thought about buying a Sonos amp or buying a connect:amp.Connect the amplifier output of the equipment to the amp and the amp outputs to the passive speakers.Could it be?Would there be problems when listening from the old equipment on the passive speakers from going through two amplifiers?Is there a way to connect the old stereo without going through the old amplifier?Sorry if any questions are stupid, but I'm very new to these topics.

Hi.  I’m looking to add a turntable to my existing setup, as birthday gift for my wife who is nostalgic for vinyl! From  the research I’ve done the world of vinyl seems more complicated (and expensive!) than I imagined. I’m still undecided if the best route is to add to my Sonos system or purchase a standalone turntable and speakers.  I currently have a beam, sub and two play ones in the lounge linked to my TV with the two play ones acting as surrounds and a seperate Sonos one in the kitchen.  Am I correct that if I buy a turntable and era 100 with line in this will allow me to send music to allmy other speakers? Would the era 100 be sufficient? (I believe the 5 is a better option but adds more expense so was hoping the existing sub etc would assist)  TIA 

Hi everyone, I'm new to Sonos and looking for advice on setting up a multi-room audio system. What are some best practices for optimizing sound quality and connectivity across multiple rooms? Any tips or recommendations for a seamless experience?

I work in a small office with around 8 people sitting in the same room. The space is an old shopfront, so fairly narrow and deep in plan. We are looking to upgrade our speaker system in the office for the volume of music we play to be more equally distributed than if one person is playing from their desk. The Sonos Era 100 seems like a good solution, with two sources of sound instead of one. I know the set of 2 you can buy are meant to be in two separate rooms, but what are peoples experiences using this system, or the Symfonisk for that matter, for similar purposes? Would there be an issue with latency from the speaker further away? If they are used as a stereo pair, does the separating of the channels sound strange when you’re sat closer to one of the speakers? Thankful for any thoughts on this. Thanks.

Hi, I have an Audio-Technica Bluetooth capable turntable.  I have an Arc, sub gen 3 and two Era 100’s in my surround setup.  Is my best option in playing my turntable to get a port and play through my setup or get a couple Bluetooth speakers and play independently?   

Hi, I’m remodeling my house now and try to build a sound system in my house mainly for music not for tv or surround.  What do you think about this setup: Sonos AMP 4 speakers Signature 5 Series 8” In-Ceiling Speaker  by Episode will be connected in Parallel to sonos amp.Klipsch RW-5802IIIn-wall passive subwoofer Will be connected in RCA direct to the sonos amp. Do I need a sonos port? any other suggestions, will the sonos amp will handle the 4 speakers with the subwoofer?  I’m open to other suggestions to build a music system in my living room

Yes, you can invest in Sonos with confidence despite what you might read in this community regarding issues with the new Sonos app. Let me explain…Generically speaking any updated and/or re-built software that has been generational is primarily designed with the latest gear and future iterations in mind. However, software engineers also build in backwards compatibility so as not to leave behind and/or cause problems for customers who have already invested in the company’s products. Sonos, while succeeding in some areas of the Sonos App ground-up refresh; failed in others, such as app stability and feature retention. Thus, causing pain for many of its loyal customers. Replacing missing features is being addressed on a steady pace. However, IMO those should not concern a new buyer as quite frankly you can’t miss what you never experienced/had. The app overall performs as it should.  🙂Having said that there will be those that say missing features should concern a new investor in Sonos ge

I’m so lost  I’m looking to fill a 700ish sf studio with music as well as wireless mic connection, could I buy a Sonos Connect and run 2 play 1s off of it, would it play both the mic and the music? Is there any other option?

Is it better to buy one Move 2 speaker or 2 Sonos Era 100 speakers. I use my Sonos’s at my home for indoor and outdoor use at the same time, and sometimes only inside or out.
