Sonos System in large Automotive Shop

I’m building a large automotive shop on my property to work on and store my cars & motorcycles.  The building is 120’ L x 60’ W x 16’ H.  It’s all open with no interior walls.

What kind of solution would I need to have significant coverage in this space.

Can you have a bunch of Five speakers and (2) Subs all controlled in one space?  Since its a big rectangle could you have (6) fives and a sub on each end?

I’m not sure how they would be configured in the app.

Thanks,

BillMac

Yes you can have six speakers with the Subs bonded to two of them. I’d be inclined to use Era 300’s as I think they’ll disperse the sound better.

Have them set as individual speakers/rooms, and then group them all. Try the Subs bonded to different speakers to hear what sounds best in the garage.

Now the important stuff: what cars?

Thanks for the idea.  I’ll take a look at the ERA 300s also.

I essentially want them to act as one with one source at a time.

Cars:  Mostly Chevys (Corvette), Audis, Kawasakis and BSA.

I’ll post a floor plan with ideas.

without vehicles

I will be mainly spending my time towards the left side of building where the lifts and workbenches are.

how about a layout like this….

The red rectangles are the FIVE speakers and the blue squares are the subs.

Thoughts?
