As of the last update my Arc no longer works with my Samsung Frame TV when connected via eArc/HDMI. The issue is sound cutting out (or rather in, as I hear mostly nothing but the sound will pop in every few seconds for usually less than a second). I am using the most recent Sub and Sonos Ones. This setup worked for several weeks before the most recent updates. Resetting the HDMI connection corrects the problem for a given session but I need to do it every time I turn the tv on. Cycling the power works as well but there is no permanent fix. I have swapped out the hdmi cable twice. My assumption is this is a SW issue given that it coincided with the last update. Hoping for a fix.
I’ve read a bunch of articles and can’t figure out why my TV won’t play through my new Sonos 5. My TV is a few years old (a Sony Bravia) and doesn’t appear to have a headphone “port” … so, according to articles I’ve read, I bought a cord that plugs into the 5 and then has the red and white jacks that are supposed to plug into the red and white “audio out” ports on my TV. And then, in my TV settings, I switch from “TV” speakers to “Audio” speakers. But I get nothing. I tried it on another TV and couldn’t get sound. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong?!? Help, please! Thanks.

Hi all, Is there a way to change the Sonos Move wake word?I’m using the S2 app and I can’t seem to find the setting. Thanks for any replies.Steve
I purchased a Sonos Boost many years ago, I believe for my Playbar and Sonos Sub at the time, as I believe it was needed to run it together. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep the sub and had to return it but still have the Boost for some reason. Is the Boost still relevant for anything?
Hi,Is there any way to play my fire stick 4K content on my Sonos One SL?Thank you.
I currently have a Playbar, Play:1’s and Sonos Sub in my living room. I have a larger living room and I’m not getting the level of sub sounds I want, even with the Sonos sub turned up. Can I add the new Sonos Amp to my existing setup with just a 3rd party sub for additional sub sound?
Hi, I can’t get DD to work on my Beam and SL’s via my firestick the app just shows its stereo, I set the the audio on the firestick to DD but it cuts the sound out, I can’t change the settings on the tv as they are greyed out apart from PCM, I get DD 2.0 via freeview (UK) am I doing something wrong or could it be the tv which is about 5 years old. Thanks
Hi All - looking to hook up TV to the SONOS Amp, wired to pair of B&W speakers. Can I use that same Amp to connect to a turntable….? Thanks for any advice
I have a new Sony Bravia 75” 4K with a direct line to the internet for streaming. Audio includes an Arc, Sub, and two 1SLs. Arc is plugged into the eARC port. All channels are selected from the Home button with no inputs to the HDMI inputs. Prime, Netflix, MLB, Disney+ all work just fine, but Hulu loses all volume periodically. Sometimes the audio will work for a while and then cut out. Sometimes turning it off for a while will restore audio when it is turned back on.Any suggestions?
Hi - I have a setup with turntable and cd player feeding into a preamp, then separate amp to bookshelf speakers. How do I integrate this with my existing Sonos stuff so that:I can play the turntable or the cd player through both the bookshelf speakers and the sonos speakers, and I can use the app for streaming to the bookshelf speakersthanks for any feedback!
I was gifted a Polkaudio subwoofer and I currently have a Sonos Beam, One and a Move. Do I need anything to make the sub work with existing speakers? I am thinking about getting a Port so I can hook up my turntable. Will that be enough?
Hi, I am looking to change over to Sonos for my home audio. Currently, have a Yamaha receiver powering floor speakers for both my record player and TV. Ultimately, what I would really like is if I could get audio from the record player through a Sonos speaker in another room (record player is in the living room and currently can’t be heard in the kitchen, for example). Is there a Sonos product/setup I can get that will replace the receiver, play TV audio, and connect to other Sonos speakers to transmit record player audio to other rooms? Thanks in advance for any insights.
I want to buy a pair of Sonos 1 speakers and have read that they can be used as “a pair as rear home cinema surrounds with Playbar, Playbase, or Beam”I’ve just bought a Samsung Q60T smart TV together with a Q60T 360W 5.1 Channel Soundbar. The Soundar is connected to the TV from a ‘HDMI to TV’ port and the Sub woofer is connected by bluetooth. The Soundbar also has another HDMI port and a USB and Optical-in ports.I don’t have a Playbar, Playbase, or Beam and I wondered whether I would be able to use the Sonos 1 speakers at the same time (ie as rear speakers) as the Samsung Soundbar? The TV can output sound to external bluetooth speakers but I’m not sure if it will output to wi-fi speakers and if it does, I wouldn’t think it would be possible at the same time as the Soundbar because the Soundbar is an option on it’s own.Is there a way to connect Sonos 1 to the Samsung Soundbar? Thanks,Dave (aka Grandad)
I am thinking of buying the Sonos Ones to use in two different rooms, but would also like to be able to move them into the family room and use them as rear surrounds with my Playbar for those nights we watch a movie. Is there an easy way to do this or will I need to connect them all together and separate them again each time? Is there a way to set up speaker functions when in a group together? So that way I have each speaker as it’s own system/room but when grouped together the Ones will act as surround speakers?
I placed an order for Sonos One, Beam, Move on Nov 24, 2020. Today (Nov 30, 2020) morning, Sonos dropped the price of One from C$ 249 to C$179 (perhaps for Cyber Monday, or maybe not...). My Sonos One got shipped on Nov 26th and delivered today. Obviously, I don’t want to pay $70 more for a product that I barely just purchased and is available everywhere (Sonos website, Amazon, BestBuy, etc.) at a cheaper price. I want to understand from other experienced users in the community as to what my options are at this point? Does/will Sonos match the price on my order to their own website’s (new/dropped) price and issue me a refund equal to the price difference? I was on the Chat with a support person this morning and they said they’ve sent my request for a price difference refund to the fulfillment team, with a Case#. I think the person hinted that this is possible and will be the course of action from Sonos, however, have not explicitly mentioned that to me anywhere. From the community’s co
I'm trying to get a turntable that we can connect to our multiple Sonos devices we have in our house. I just want to confirm that getting the Vinyl Set with the Sonos Five will allow us to connect the music to all of the other speakers we have setup, or if we would need to get a Port or Amp to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated to make sure I get the right products.
Need a 3rd speaker and am wondering if new SONOS speakers are compatible in a system of (2) Play 1’s?The existing Play 1’s work great, I stream from an Android Galaxy 10.
I have recently purchased a Sony Bluetooth turntable. The unit works fine and had no trouble picking up my echo dot when I pressed the pairing button on the turntable. However as I wanted to get a better sound quality (obviously) I’m trying to connect to my Play1.Again, the Play1 works fine and is linked to my phone. Why can’t I get it to sync with the turntable 😤cheers in advance🤞🤞
Hi I live in dubai I bought SONOS spekaer so i can use my prime music but wile setup i cant find amazonmusic. Also i cant set up voice assistance. please help me before i return...
Can anyone tell me how to adjust the volume on my speakers using the volume control on my iPhone when using AirPlay? Up until recently, when I readjusted the volume it would adjust all the speakers grouped with the one I have connected to Airplay. Now I seem to only have the capability to adjust the only the one speaker connected to AirPlay using my iPhone’s physical buttons. I have to open the Sonos app and adjust the speakers everyday individually. It’s really annoying and I can’t figure it out.
I have an Arc that is connected to my router over ethernet. I’m waiting for my new sub to be delivered and I was wondering if its possibe or if there is any advantage to connect the sub to the same router over ethernet. The router is very close to the ARC and where I plan on placing the sub so making the connection is easy.
Hi.After years of mediocre sound, I bought an arc, sub and two One SL speakers for surround. But I didn’t really do much research on Sonos functionality, hope you can help me out a bit.Just to paint a small picture:We have a pretty large living room, TV about 7 meters from the sofa, bedrooms are closer to the arc than the sofa. For me to enjoy music or TV sound without waking up the family early morning or late at night, I was ideally hoping that the One SL speakers could “take over” and be the only active speakers if I wanted them to. Making the arc and sub mute actually. Is that possible somehow? Also I would love if I could stream my music to the One SL speakers only if I wanted. As far as I see from searches and other replies, this is not achievable at the moment? I was hoping these topics were old and there’s some news on this. Could I make the One SL speakers as one group (sofa), arc and sub another group (TV), and these groups to play the same thing if we want, but able to strea
