I have a lot of Connect and Connect Amp products and I wish to trade up here in UK. I tried to purchase multiple units just now but Sonos are out of stock with their Sonos Amp. Can anyone from Sonos tell me when these are due back in stock? I would really like to do this ASAP.Thanks
Hi, I'd like to use my trade up credit (30% discount) to purchase a Beam and gen 3 Sub however the set has been discontinued in the UK. Buying separate isn't an option as I would only get the discount on one of the items. Will this set be replaced? The difference in price is significant if I can't purchase with 30% discount on both items. This set still seems to be available in the US shop but not the UK.Thanks,Stuart
I bought several Sonos products in the U.K. where my Sonos account is based, and they are eligible for trade up. I have since moved to Spain and would like to trade up some of these legacy items for new Sonos products I will need to order these from Sonos in Spain.is this possible? What would i need to do?
Hi. I ordered a pair of fives a few days ago. Got The shippingdate 2020-11-06, then it got changed to 2020-11-20. Got problems in manufacturing process or what?
Come posso capire se un sonos connect usato da acquistate, è compatibile con S2?
Hi. I've registered 2 items ( bridge and play 5 1st gen) However when I try to buy new beam and sub it only gives me option of discount on one item, although I believe I should have 2 credits, is this correct? Thanks,Stuart
My sonos 5 generation 1 device only sounds the bass, how can I solve this problem?
Sonos and Lip Sync on Sony Products
Been following the forums for a while. I have Sonos ARC, sub gen 3, two one sl and a beam.Since ive had my ARC and the S2 upgrade im a bit underwhelmed by the lack of additional features it brings. Features get requested on the forums but nothing really seems to happen with them, I don't feel Sonos as a brand being too slow to add new features to the S2 app etc. There are so many things that need adding such as, the main screen showing the audio formats being played rather than just atmos, being able to control individual channels such as front and height channels, many other features that get requested but never see the light of day.. For such a new product as the ARC I want to see new things added to it etc… Also would like to see some rear up firing speakers to be added to the Sonos line…Rant over…
Since V12 of Sonos S2 I have no end of problems. The first and most obvious one is that the software doesn’t even recognise it is at the latest version. I have a Samsung Note8 and the Sonos S2 System version I have downloaded is 12.1.2.Ok - go to add a music system and it comes up with the attached message. Obviously hit the update button (even though the software reports it is at Version 12.1.2) and it checks Sonos for updates and ‘there was a problem during the update of your system’ message appears - now before any Sonos guru replies yes I have reloaded, rebooted every possible software, speaker, boost and router I have - the default goto answer for any Sonos problem - just shows how flaky this software is!!!If the software doesn’t even recognise its own version level there has got to be some basic programming issues going on rather than blaming wireless/ethernet connection issues
This has been going on for years, at least since 2013 when I bought most of my Sonos system. Many people have requested it here in the community, but I’ve yet to see it done or explained why it technically could not be done. So today, I made an account to find out.As a technical person in the IT field for 20 years now, I’ve also dealt with a good amount of audio and home theater equipment over the last 30+ years. I just can’t imagine it would be that difficult to add a button to the app to allow the TV to play FULL RANGE stereo music to the Playbar/Sub/LS/RS setup. After all, it is already done for music. Maybe it is a limitation of the internal optical sensor or other hardware, or perhaps it is just programming since the optical signal is digitally controlled. My 2018 LG TV is optical to the soundbar, and the only settings are Auto or PCM, which makes no difference, I’ve tried.I just got a Chromecast with Google TV over HDMI, and I tried Twitch streaming there hoping I would
Had the Sonos ARC for about 6 weeks now. General TV content, music is ok, but im still not impressed when watching films with either a 5.1 signal or ATMOS, it just sounds so flat and ATMOS does not surround you like the Samsung ATMOS soundbar I previously had. The sub and rear surrounds seem to out do the ARC they perform great, but the ARC I just feel is holding itself back, like the speakers have half power.. I was watching Midway film last night, rears and sub did a great job but the ARC just sounded weak, I also found the voices would be too quiet even with speech enhancement on. I have Truplayed so many times to get a better sound but it does not change it much at all.I have not returned it as Im hoping this can be fixed with an update, as im not impressed by the ARC yet. I want to be wowed by the ARC when watching films, not fiddling with the settings all the time trying to get a better sound from it.
Hi Everyone, Does anyone know if Sonos ships to South Korea? I would like to purchase a new Play5, but it doesn't look like that’s an option for me? Thanks! - J
I do need procedure for purchasing any SONOS device in Spain (my account) and delivered at UK (gift) with UK plugs system
Hi So I purchased the Arc recently and realised that my android phone will not support trueplay and I've already owned iPad pro gen 4 which that didn't work either. I went and bought iPhone 12 pro only to find out that still not supported??!!?? I've spent £1500 on the Arc and the sub and on top another £1k on a new iPhone 12 pro only to find out an old iPhone would work only. Come on guys please sort this out. Can someone from Sonos team get in touch and tell me how long this will take???? Thanks
Hello, The Sonos apps do work properly for sure but I have just a UX question : do you think you can design something even smaller??? :-))For example the seek slider on the desktop app for Mac This gives the feeling that the very tip of the mouse pointer must be at the exact pixel where the slider bar is. This is not the case actually but still. The buttons next to it are bigger but not big either.Looks like you’re shy :) Make huge buttons and sliders! Don’t hesitate. Think UX and accessibility. The same applies on the mobile app (even worse for seeking). Thanks
Im building a new house, and want to set up surround in the living room with wall/ceiling speakers. I have today a beam with sub and two One as surround. But I want to at least have the surround in ceiling instead of One hanging on the wall in my new house/living room. Is this possible? And instead of beam I want wall speakers in front, but as far as I understand Amp is just a stereo unit which makes surround setup not possible with just wall/ceiling speakers?Does Sonos have any amp that can handle multiple ceiling speakers for different zones? Having 5 Amp setup is quite costly.
my gear: 1 connect amp, 1 pair of symphonisks, 1 play 5, 2 polk S15e, 1 turntable, 1 polk signa s1 soundbar with sub (2.1).OK so here's the "problem":first, I would like to have a sonos AMP with the turntable and the tv and a non SONOS sub connected and also the symphoniks acting as surrounds! is this ideal?secondly, just have the polk signa s1 for the tv and the connect amp + Polk S15e for the turntable. (but then i will not have surrounds)These are my 2 best ideas.Do you have any other suggestion? What do you guys think?Thks for your time. So basically, do you think the sonos AMP solution will solve everything? my only doubt is for everyday Tv (news, soaps, whatever) do you think the Polk s15e + sub + surrounds will be to much?
I'm about to make the leap and invest in Sonos gear. 15 ft. x 25 ft. living room. Either two play 5s with a sub or a Amp with 4 play ones with a sub. What's the opinion on sound difference?? From what i understand using the play ones vs the play fives I will get a better high end treble sound and the sub obviously can handle all the bass. For me its all about connectivity, the amp would be nice to have but i cant find any definitive info showing how they work with the amp. Any help would be appreciated.
No, not the usual problem hopefully. On my Iphone I can go to YouTube and listen to an audio/video direct to Sonos via the icon that appears on the actual video screen’If I do exactly the same thing on my PC the icon does not appear.I’m running latest Windows edition.Does anyone know why please?
I was a big fan of Santos originally; I had eight of the play fives in my house along with a few beams. But I tried to add some more speakers, and was forced to migrate to the Sonos 2 platform which seems flat out terrible. It only seems to work about 20% of the time, and keeps asking me to add things that I’ve already added. Is that other folks experience? Any tricks to make the thing salvageable? I certainly would never advise anyone to buy that house now; to the contrary I would tell them to look for a better option, but I’m stuck now
I bought my speakers in the US and brought them to a holiday home in Spain (using a basic converter). This has worked fine for over a year. Recently there was a huge surge in the building and it blew out several things. For everything else I just replaced the cord and not the appliance. Ex: my charging cable for my laptop blew out but my computer was fine. Unfortunately my Sonos One doesn’t work now even with a new cord. Is there anything that I can do?
What I have:Playbar (birthday gift from an Sonos-phile) OPPO BDP-103 Legacy turntable Legacy Mitsubishi 1080P HDTV (to be replaced) Denon X1000-W receiver Klipsch 2.1 speakers and sub DishTV and RokuIt seems that in reading about connecting the Playbar to multiple sources, it will be a difficult road to connect everything to Playbar, Denon and legacy speakers. Some preliminary questions:Would Sonos Connect/Port help connecting the Denon, components and Playbar? Would it be appropriate to try to segregate Playbar to HDTV, Dish and OPPO (video connected to Playbar) and receiver/audio only components (connected to receiver)? I’ve seen references to physical switches. Any help? Finally, I have two nice Sonos One speakers that would be nice to integrate instead of the Klipsch. I’m sure that is another complexity that won’t work or I might not want to tackle. So, I’m just starting out on this journey, and I want to do what’s possible to integrate these various components and know what is n
I currently have a Sonos Amp with a Denon CD player connected to it, works perfectly. I’m thinking of investing in a turntable to play albums I recently got as presents and dusting off my old collected. The question relates to purchasing a turntable more than likely the Pro-Ject T1 Phono turntable, will this work with a Sonos Port as the existing Sonos Amp has the CD player connected to it. Are there any potential issues or just straight forward setup, or is there a better setup?
Hi,I am about to buy a sonos connect s15 from 2017. From what I understand this work with the S2 app, but can i trade it up for a 30% voucher and continue to use it on the sonos s2 app?
