HiI have S2 Sonos equipment in 3 different rooms and I access it from Desktop apps on 3 PCs and from my android phone.Today, the app on the main desktop that I use failed to find my system. The other two PCs and my android phone have no issues.The problem PC can access the status of each sonos speaker using their IP addresses, so there eis not a firewall/network problem.I have tried all of the solutions offered by Google Gemini and on this site - uninstal/reinstall, delete the Sonos,_Inc folder etc but no success.Does anyone here have any ideas?Thanks, Alan

I currently have a Sonos Play Bar connected to my 85 inch Samsung TV.  Since I am experiencing audio drop off’s I am looking to replace the Play Bar with the Arc. My Play Bar currently sits on the counter, under my wall hung TV, that sits at a slight forward angle. At present, the Play Bar is actually hung on the wall by screws, just with about 1/8” clearance above the counter top. The top of the Play Bar is about 1 ½ to 2 inches below the bottom of the TV but sits a good 12 inches behind the bottom of the TV. Based on what I have read within the community, I do not believe the 4 inch separation from the bottom of the TV to the top of the Arc is an issue. Before purchasing, I thought I would reach out for expert advice on placement of the Arc. Is it better to place the Arc against the back wall just like I have the Play Bar now? Or should I bring the Arc forward, in front of the TV, since I have 7 ½ inches of counter top in front of the TV? Whether the Arc is against the back wall or i

I have continuously experienced major problems with the app for years. I have tried every possible fix I could find online, worked with support staff multiple times, and followed all recommended troubleshooting steps. I have restarted and rebooted everything imaginable—the app, speakers, platforms, hardware, and routers. I have even replaced routers, changed platforms, and upgraded hardware, yet the problems persist.I genuinely love the products and have been a loyal customer for nearly 14 years. In fact, I would like to purchase more products. Unfortunately, the ongoing issues with the app overshadow my enthusiasm for expanding my system.What is especially frustrating is that my system often works more reliably when controlled through Spotify and other third-party apps than through the Sonos app itself. Hello!  I am trying to understand why the middle speaker isn’t “working” when used as rear with Arc Ultra.  I almost feel like I don’t hear my rear. I understand that the “Atmos” is working because the side speakers work. But is it ment that the middle speaker shouldn’t work as rear speakers?

I have had Google Assistant installed on my Sonos One speaks for years now. But for no reason whatso ever it stopped working (just another Sonos feature).  Every time I said “Hey Google”, the speaker would take many seconds to reply then told me “there has been a glitch, try again in a few seconds” but it just wouldn’t work. I followed the instructions to uninstall the feature from the speaker and then reinstall - but it just will not work. I don’t know if it is because the Google Assist app has evolved leaving Sonos behind or what but it get blocked every time when, in the Sonos app I add assistant → Add Google Assistant → Open Google Assistant app…. and then it just hangs. I’ve checked my Google Assistant app but I’m pretty sure it has been updated since the last time I installed the speakers.  So I just can not get past this point.  I use the assistant a lot as I have smart devices all over the house.  If I can’t get this to work, I will have to get rid of the Sonos speakers and buy

Sonos app geninstalleret og system genstartet flere gange. DR Lyd fjernet og tilføjet flere gange.Men stadig oplever jeg at udsendelserne er forsinkede. I’ve seen a few discussions about this issue, but I haven’t come across anyone who has found a solution.I have a Sonos Five connected to one of my access points (5GHz, using the same SSID as my router and other APs). When my iPhone is connected to that same AP and the Sonos Five, everything works perfectly. I can start music from the Sonos app and control playback without any problems.However, when I move to another part of the house and my iPhone roams to a different AP, the Sonos app can no longer control the Sonos Five. The speaker still appears in the app, but whenever I try to pause, play, or perform any other action, I get a "Could not connect to server" error.Does anyone know what might be causing this?Roaming on the iPhone appears to work smoothly, but it feels like the Sonos app isn’t refreshing its connection properly. I updated my SONOS App on Wednesday.  It had obliterate my library. Here is the version I am running. Sonos OS: S2Version: 17.2.6 (build 86878270) I have tried re-adding and now get permission errors.  I had this same issue on February and spent hours on phone with SONOS support.  I ended up resolving issue on my own. I ma not having any luck this time.   Has anyone else experienced issues and what is resolution to correct permissions.  I have checked permissions and administrator, and everyone to set to Read/Write.  Sonos is added under Local Network with full disk access.   

Hi! I’m thinking about buying the Magnetar-Audio UDP800 4K UHD Blu-ray player so I will be able to play 4K movies and SACD for music. Will this setup work with my Sonos speakers if I connect the Blu-ray player with HDMI to my TV and then a HDMI from the TV to my Sonos Soundbar? Will it be able to play Dolby Atmos and SACD-sound from the blue-ray player through my TV and then to my Sonos speakers? Do I loose any quality in either sound or video? Feature suggestion: I don't understand why the equaliser and surround sound settings are not quickly available from the 'now playing' panel. When you are seeing what you are playing, that's when you might want to adjust sound/surround settings - it's the natural place for it - not hidden away deep in the settigns four or five clicks away. Makes zero sense to me. Please fix this!

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist.The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins.If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays.This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track.Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

I’m wanting to understand if I connect a Sonos Port to an AV Receiver that is ‘Works with Sonos’ certified, will the AVR switch on automatically if a connected Sonos Port has an active alarm?I couldn’t find any of this information in the documentation or on this site so wanted to ask here. Hoping someone who has used a Sonos Port in this way can respond.Based on the answer I can decide if I should purchase a Sonos Port.

On this weeks iOS (April 26)  update the A-Z listing down the left hand side of the screen  for “Songs” has disappeared (from Local Library)It’s still there for Artists and Albums

The Scan For new Content button isn’t working. When I go to Music Library settings and press Scan For New Content and then Scan Now nothing happens. Not sure which app update has caused this. There used to be an indication that the scan was in progress. Not now. Can access my Music Library and I know theirs is new content. Any ideas gratefully received. 

I am trying to stream a radio station to all my Sonos speakers via Airtime. But it is only recognising one speaker. How do I get Airtime to capture all my speakers? (I have put them into one group via the Sonos app but only one speaker is picked up by Airtime). Thanks

Recently my Sonos app will stop playing if I use another music app on my phone. I used to be able to have a radio station playing through the Sonos app, and separately have a music app playing out to headphones through the phone.This no longer works, if I start playing say Spotify or BBC Sounds on my phone it stops any existing streaming on the Sonos app. And vice versa, if I attempt to restart the stream within the Sonos app, it cuts off the other music playing out through the phone. This behaviour started recently, is it no longer possible for the Sonos speaker to play independently from the phone?

Hello, My set up is quite old but still going strong - two rear Play 1’s, a Playbar and my newest addition, a mini sub. My question is, can I add two speakers to my set up that would add to my surround sound and also work with a bluetooth turntable (Pro Ject T1 EVO BT)

Has anyone had issues with your Sonos system and wireless Access Points? At my company we have several sites that use Sonos and I’ve noticed that my Sonos app will act as if I do not have anything connected to the system unless I am near the speakers or port. After narrowing down the issue, we discovered that the app was only detecting sonos products that are on the same Access Point or if it is on the main router, even though these AP’s are the same network as the main router. Our network tech confirmed the access points are not blocking any communication between the main router and itself, so I was just wondering if there is anything else I should try or if access points and Sonos are just not going to work. Trying to add music purchased from iTunes to Sonos app. I do not have a subscription to Apple Music. I have purchased all of my music from iTunes on my phone.

I am hoping someone can lead me in the right direction.  I have had the Sonos S1 app for about 8 years now. The Sonos S1 app controls 2 Sonos connect amps.  One amp controls the speakers in the outdoor seating area and the other amp controls the in ceiling speakers inside of the house.  While away in my vacation home where I use the Sonos app to control Era 300, Era 100 and One SL, I accidently opened the Sonos S1 app instead of the Sonos app to control the Era 300, Era 100 and One SL speakers.  Because it wasn’t working, and it shouldn’t have been because I opened the wrong app, I ended up resetting the entire system on the Sonos S1 app.  Immediately after resetting the Sonos S1 app I realized I totally screwed up because I was using the wrong app to control the Era 300, Era 100 and One SL speakers.  I should have been using the Sonos app which would have worked but was using the Sonos S1 app.  When I got back home I tried to use the Sonos S1 app and there is no system to use. I generally play imported WPL playlists from my library of MP3s, unshuffled.  I recently opened up the queue during playback to see the name of a prior song and noticed that the song order shown is not at all correct. I found that the order of the songs being played is accurate per the WPL playlist, however. Is this a known issue with the Android app?

Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue since updating my Sonos app. My speakers appear in the app initially, but after a few minutes they randomly disappear or show as disconnected even though they’re still connected to my Wi-Fi network.I’ve already tried:Restarting the router and all Sonos devices Reinstalling the app Resetting the speakers and setting them up again Ensuring all devices are on the same networkThe problem keeps coming back, especially when trying to group rooms or switch between music services.Has anyone else encountered this issue recently? So over the last week, I have had my ERA 100 randomly connecting to devices that have never connected to it, connecting and booting me off of it. I have made extra it's not an office prank, anyone else having issues like this?
