Hi community,I used to be able to play my whole music library through SONOS - however, this is no longer working and I cannot reconnect to the library - I get various error messages. I have tried the connection methods suggested online but to no avail.  Any ideas? 

Yesterday ABC Radio National stopped playing on Sonos 1. Did the standard checks… it will play on a standalone Sonos 2 speaker, and all other stations still play on both 1&2. I’ve tried using Sonos Radio and RadioApp (I know it was taken off TunedIn a while back).  when i try through SonosRadio nothing happens, when i try through RadioApp it gives the ‘unable to play/connection is lost’ message - but i can still play other radio stations.

HiI have an old (13 years) Play:1 that has, for the last few years, been used just as a bedroom radio & alarm.  As of yesterday morning this has dropped out of the MacOS & iOS apps (coincidently? I’d just updated to Golden Gate & iOS 27) but it does still show in, & can be controlled from, the SONOS web app.  Have done a factory reset & added it as a new device, via the iOS app, all went through fine, all necessary connections & handshake noises were completed, said it was added to the system but as soon as I moved from the setup screen back to the system it was marked as ‘not connected’, it then dropped off the system screen in the app.  It does, however, show & work in the web app.  My three other devices all show up & work as expectedWorking through the web app is not an issue for the speaker itself (it generally stays on one radio station) but it means that I can no longer uses it as an alarm, (the alarms show ‘no room selected’ in the apps as they d

My wma files, are no longer playing any sound.I have check the bit rate and Khz of my files 192kbps and 44.1KHz, which conform to Sonos guidelines but still wont play.I think this has happened since the last update.Is any one else having this problem again, I know it was any issue a while back.  

I have a Sonos Amp Multi and want to use 1 of the 4 zones as a Surrounds for my Arc.  I used to do this with my dedicated Connect:Amp.  I got the Amp multi to replace all of my Connect:Amps.  The single Sonos Amp product allows to pair with an Arc for surrounds, but the Amp Multi cannot for 1 of its 4 zones.

I have a Sonos beam and a Sonos Arc. It's been pretty useless lately. Sure it plays music, and integrates with Sirius XM. But when I ask it things like what football games are playing today? Or what is the score of this particular football game? It just gives me answers from last year and then I asked what games are playing today and it says there are no games playing today. This used to work fine..

Subject: Arc Ultra mounted BELOW a 10-inch-deep fireplace mantel. How much sound quality will I lose?I’m building a custom media wall with a 65-inch TCL television, a Dimplex electric fireplace and a 10-inch-deep wooden mantel.I’m considering purchasing an Arc Ultra with a Sub 4. My preferred design is to wall-mount the Arc Ultra directly beneath the mantel, with the soundbar projecting approximately 4.5 inches from the finished wall.This would leave approximately 5.5 inches of mantel overhang beyond the front of the soundbar.I understand this would likely interfere with the upward-firing Dolby Atmos speakers, but my biggest priorities are dialogue clarity, music and overall sound quality. I also wear hearing aids and sometimes have difficulty understanding certain voices. I do not want to mount it on top of the mantel as my wife wants to use it for display items.My questions:If the upward-firing speakers are obstructed, will the Arc Ultra still provide better overall sound and dialogu

I’m unable to find my ikea symfonisk lamp in the app. I have updated my iOS on my phone, updated the app. Factory reset the lamp, and am able to find it, connect to it and update it, but it still doesn’t show up in the app or in my Spotify. Anyone got any tips? Have also tried connecting with Ethernet cable, but still unable to make it visible in the app 😫😫

It is clear that Sonos will not be updating the controller to run on Apple silicon. That’s where we are. Using a web based app concerns me:Internet access is not universally good Privacy concerns and the value our choices of music etc have to Sonos to either use or sell on. Our “options” would be a zero sum game. Given that I am almost certainly not alone, there are folk who have third party apps that are more players than controllers, by which I mean many configuration aspects like adding speakers etc. aren’t an option. They just play stuff on Sonos hardware. So, where are we to go once Rosetta gets canned and using a web based app is either unattractive or technically unviable?  Recommendations please 🙂

I have tried various paths, forward \ and backward slashes /Nothing works. I have confirmed that the Umbrel2.local uses SMB version 4.22.8. I use the share username and the long password. Have anyone had success with mapping to an umbrel os?

I updated my SONOS App on Wednesday.  It had obliterate my library. Here is the version I am running. Sonos OS: S2Version: 17.2.6 (build 86878270) I have tried re-adding and now get permission errors.  I had this same issue on February and spent hours on phone with SONOS support.  I ended up resolving issue on my own. I ma not having any luck this time.   Has anyone else experienced issues and what is resolution to correct permissions.  I have checked permissions and administrator, and everyone to set to Read/Write.  Sonos is added under Local Network with full disk access.   

Can the surround capable portable speakers be a stereo pair when they are connected as surrounds?  Then when they are moved will they reconnect as a stereo pair?

AAC/M4A files play at near-inaudible volume on a Play:1 stereo pair running software 17.2.7 (build 861080260). Same files play normally on current-firmware speakers (One SL, Era 100, both 18.8) in the same system, and FLAC is unaffected on all speaker. Confirmed same-controller, same-file, only-destination-differs test. Confirmed with multiple aac files - all play at usual volume on later model speaker and almost inaudible on my Play 1 stereo pair. I suspect this started after the latest OS update. Anyone else experiencing this??

HiI bought an era100 speaker for my daughters bedroom specifically to use with voice control via tidal. I was unaware at the time that this was not compatible in the UK. My question is will this be fixed with the S27 software upgrade in the UK?

Having all sorts of bizarre issues with portables as rears all of a sudden. Anyone else had this in the past few days? Was working sweet when the update came out… is it a ios27 thing? Speakers are showing, they’re optioned to be used as surrounds, but now they’re immediately going offline. Is this a known issue?

Have a customer with 15 sonos amps and 21 pairs of sonos speakers. All speakers and amps sound great besides 1 amp and 1 pair in his pool house. The amp is located in the main house rack. We ran a CAT6 through conduit from the rack to the pool house and installed OREI ARC converters over cat6, ARC-EX300-K. The total length of the run is 241’ which is still under the limits for the converters. We have done the whole thing with sonos tech support and they have RMA’d the amp one time. The other times we’ll send them the diagnostics report and they will see nothing wrong or they will throw the blame on OREI. The speakers will work fine playing sound through the TV after we reboot the amp but then after a week they go back to cutting in and out. Streaming music through airplay/sonos app works perfectly fine though, only when it is played through the TV it has issues. Has anyone ran into this & have a fix? move 2 will not turn on- is there any other way to  power it up besides the charge unit that comes with iy 

I’ve read on the Sonos website that with the latest software, Move 2 speakers can now be used as surround speakers for a Beam 2. I have a new Beam Gen 2 and two Move 2s, all on the latest software. All three microphones are enabled. The Move 2s are set up as separate rooms, powered on over Wi-Fi, in the same physical room with line of sight to the Beam. When I select Set Up Surrounds on the Beam, the app only offers my Sonos Amp (which is in a completely different area of the house) and does not detect either Move 2. I also unplugged the Amp and retried.I have gone through all of the checklist items on the Sonos website, some of them multiple times. I’m not sure what to do at this point.
