When considering the ideal Sonos speaker for office use, particularly in creating a conducive work environment, the comparison between the Sonos Roam 1 and Sonos Roam 2 becomes crucial. Both models offer premium audio quality and portability, but they may differ in features and suitability for office settings.Given the emphasis on productivity and ambiance, which Sonos Roam model, whether it's the first iteration or the upgraded version, provides superior functionality and convenience for office tasks? How do their respective sound profiles and connectivity options contribute to creating an optimal workspace atmosphere, especially when hosting virtual meetings or background music for focused work? Moreover, considering the importance of maintaining a visually appealing office space, how do these speakers complement the aesthetics of trendy office decor elements like expensive balloon garlands? Do any specific design features or color options align better with such decor choices, ensurin
I am getting stuck when setting up the move 2 at the point where it says press the flashing button. The light flashes but the button highlighted on sonos app which is the pause button does action anything?
Hi, sorry if this has been covered before, but my question: Bought a new Roam 2 as I understood it should integrate with my existing Sonos system of 12 plus Play 1s,1x Beam 2 and 1 x Sub. It doesnt! When eventually you get past path of adding it and registering it, all seems well. However, play something on it thru home wifi (all goes well initially) and it then has a mind of its own, unable to adjust sound in app (volume bar disappears in the “apply” screen, music added now saying nothing there) unresponsive controls on app, cant turn it off, pause etc only plays what you added earlier and can now no longer see the Roam info in the app (ie battery percentage etc no longer in view). This process of trying to play it then also stops it being able to connect to Bluetooth without yet another faffing reset of R2! Got latest version, reset app, reset Roam to factory settings, rebooted router, added R2 again to system. Repeat process all over again and it bricks itself yet again. What a mess
Just loaded the new app. Speakers and Port work but Roam SL cannot connect. “Unable to connect. Try again later”. The roam shows up and I connect and Apply, but that’s all folks. No connection.
Tried setting up brand new move, does all the set up then all I get is not connected, shows on my router as device, anyone managed to get it to work
Dear all,I have small problem after app upgrade.Problem is how to make Move to play with group speakers in the house. My playbar, 2x sonos 3, sub and 2x one are playing perfectly. We can make groups to play how we want, but when i want to connect move on group we have problem. App reckognize move, i click Everywhere/yelow dot check and it reports an error …could not connect, please try again later. If somenone had similar problem please advise. Best regards, Satisfied customer Ante.
My 3 year old move stopped working it will not take a charge any ideas
Unable to connect to move speaker
I can’t seem to set this up. It doesn’t find the device. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both working
The first time I installed my Roam 2 it worked great. Now I am unable to play Prime music through Roam 2. However, I can play Prime on my Sonos One SL speakers. Also I can play audio from my iPhone on the Roam 2. I checked and both the Sonos One SL and Roam 2 are connected to the same network. Any ideas?
Hello,I recently bought a Sonos Roam (used, working order). As per guidelines I factory reset it and proceeded to download the Sonos app and attempt to set it up. All was fine (albeit wifi connection setup took ~3 minutes; much longer than any other device I’ve used), until the setup was completed, and the app suggested that I restart the Roam in order for it to show up.I did so multiple times to no avail - the app continues to show “no products found”.I also tried to add the Roam via bluetooth, however the white led does not turn blue whatsoever? Holding for 2 seconds yields no results, and then holding longer will just power it off. I’ve spent about an hour attempting to set it up and have thoroughly read the available manuals without any success, so any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I've just received a Roam 2 speaker. I've managed to connect it via Bluetooth, but I can find it on the app. I'm using version 1 of the app, as version 2 is not compatible with my amp. Also, the speaker button does nothing, the light doesn't come on. I can't get through to support, as it's the weekend and they're not open. Any help would be appreciated
Hello. I bought a Sonos Roam a couple of days ago. Downloaded the app, followed all instructions to set up, but still I cannot connect my phone to the speaker. I get as far as ‘your sonos roam has been added, but may not appear in the system settings.’ I turn the speaker on and off, but it never connects. Have tried factory resets, logging in and out of the app. It is driving me mad. I can not get hold of Sonos support on the phone. Any advice welcome? Thank you
What is the difference between Sonos Roam and Roam2”?
Compared to the AirPods Max and WH-1000XM5s, when turning on and off the headphones and volume up/down, those control sounds are a tad too loud. I wish there was a way to adjust their volume in settings or turn down the volume a bit by default, so it's more of an ambient sound. Devices I tested this with: iPhone 15 Pro Max, M4 iPad Pro, Samsung S24 Ultra
I have many Sonos products including the first Move product. I just purchased the Move 2 and was adding it to my system but Sonos was forcing me to update the app saying it was out of date. It is not really that out of date - though I am waiting to update until I am satisfied that Sonos still supports Plex and access to my music on my NAS, including all my playlists. Is there no way to add Move 2 without having to update to the new Sonos app, which is a major overhaul from all accounts. I have read a massive amount of feedback with upset Sonos users about the new app and want to tread lightly before I update to this new Sonos version.During purchase, (which I did with a Sonos representative) they should indicate that it requires the new app to use. If it is in the small print somewhere, it certainly isn’t anywhere that I saw. I would like to keep the speaker but not if I am forced to update the app. Since the Move 2 was released last September and worked with the same app version
Unable to connect Roam 2 to my system. I’ve made several attempts. I’ve reset the product multiple times and I am still unable to add the speaker. I am not attempting to connect it with the S1 control app. Has anyone had similar issues?
Hello all! Just got a Roam 2 for my travels. Everything working fine with the speaker and the app…except the eq settings! Not using over Bluetooth currently which I know doesn’t use the eq settings. I have a One SL connected to the same network and everything g works fine with that.Anyone else come across this problem? Thanks :)
Does anyone know when replacement batteries will be available again for Move (original)? They have been “out of stock” for a long time now. I am in New Zealand. Thankyou!
I just had to re-set my Sonos Roam SL back to factory settings (new router and password), and I want to put Sonos on my computer, but when I go to Sonos’ website and it says to download it from the Apple store, it then says that it’s not compatible with my device. Any ideas? I had it on my computer before!
There was interruption and loud crackling on my Move 2 while playing music. At the same time the top LED started flashing red. I stopped the audio and started it again but it sounds different. Like it lost some of its punch. Is it possible it’s been damaged? Moderator Note - Removed and recorded diagnostic number.
Sonos Move wont play with other Sonos kit on my system. I can play all other devices at the same time, Beam, 3, Amp and Roam but when i try to add Move to the group it doesnt connect.Move plays through the same app and works as a standalone but wont play with its friends. Any ideas?
I got a new Roam SL and it won’t connect to the app. App says Roam can’t be added with this phone and to try another device. I’ve tried multiple phones with same result. I returned the Roam and got a new one but it has the same problem. I tried connecting using my iPad which had old version of the app, but the app said I had to upgrade to new version of app in order to add a new device. Very frustrating! I assume the problem is with the new app. When will this be resolved?
I would like to buy a Sonos Move 2 but I am concerned about the security of IoT devices, especially when microphones are involved. I understand that the microphone button disables the microphone at the hardware level, but this is not enough. I am assuming Sonos does not have an official guide on how to physically remove the microphone module from the device, and also that this would probably void the warranty. But has anyone here done it, and how difficult was it?
