I don’t know about the rest of you but…Customer Service seems to think I have all day to allow someone who doesn’t know what they are doing to try and help me. I spent 1 hour 23 minutes on the phone with them today. Apparently they are all in the Philippines. The first person I spoke to gave me ridiculous tasks toward resolving my problem. She was obviously typing and simply reading from a script. After about 20 minutes of that, I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor spent the remainder of the 1+23 trying to resolve the issue, three times saying “Oh, I know what the problem is now, we’ll have it fixed in no time. Wrong. After the third time, I asked for a higher level of technician because he was not able to resolve the issue. I shared my frustration after paying a lot of money for the Arc Ultra, two Sub 4, 2 ERA 300, 4 Five, 2 Playbar, 1 Port, 3 Connect, and tired of dealing with a finicky app and not getting timely help...which all fell on dear ears. Oh, did I mention tha
Sigh. So much for the promise of 2 weekly major and minor releases. Roadmap talk has gone quiet too.
I’ve recently set up my Sonos system in a larger living room, but I’m noticing that the sound quality isn’t as clear or as immersive as I expected. Are there specific settings, speaker placements, or additional equipment I can use to enhance the audio experience? For those interested in understanding the technology behind sound reproduction, here’s a detailed overview of how audio systems work. Moderator edit: This post may be AI generated
I just wanted to post these issues I’m having with my Music Library which are driving me crazy. I have hundreds of albums and I primarily use my Sonos system to play my own music rather that stream from one of the providers. Here are my problems:Why is there no grid view of my albums? A grid view looks so much better that this list view. Maybe you can ask Apple how they get the grid view in Apple Music if you are unsure of what needs to be done to achieve this. Still no alphabet at the side to allow me to jump to say, my Yahoo album. It’s painstaking to scroll through an entire list to get to an album close to the end of the list. Compilation albums are appearing as individual songs in album view. Many of my albums are compilation and this is unacceptable. This issue was addressed to an extent, but some compilation albums are still appearing as individual songs. Don’t tell me to change by ID tags because the same files displayed well previously in Sonos and displays correctly in

This is also when I was attending a few events at Sonos in the Nordics, so why not show you all some of the products 'live' instead of only using promotional photos? 2020: A Year of New BeginningsIn 2020, we launched the Sonos Arc, our premium soundbar with Dolby Atmos support, delivering immersive, cinema-quality sound:The Arc was our first product to support Dolby Atmos, and it quickly became a favorite for home theater enthusiasts. Alongside it, we introduced the Sonos Sub Gen 3 and Sonos Five on June 8th, enhancing bass performance and providing rich, room-filling audio. Later that year, we released the Sonos Arc SL on December 2nd, offering a sleek, mi

Well?
Through the years I have seen a few ways people have customized their Sonos setups and thought it would be great to start a discussion on the best DIY hacks and tweaks you've all come up with. Whether it's improving sound quality, integrating with other systems, or just making your setup more aesthetically pleasing, I'd love to hear your experiences and ideas! That being said, we have to say this. Be aware that certain activities such as opening your Sonos device may void the warranty. Please see the terms of use for additional detail. Some of you may wonder how some of our products come into production, instead of telling you, I thought I would show you two of the prototypes I have seen. These did after all start out as “hacks” one way or another. 🐺 = A When I was visiting the Boston office I got to walk along the rows of products being tested and spotted this jenga tower with a cardboard box on top of it. Anyone able to guess what this cardboard box would end up turning into? How many
Does the 20 years — 25% off promotion not apply to Canadians?
Hey everyoneWe’re already in the midst of celebrating 20 amazing years of the Sonos Community, and we want to keep the party going with a fun new topic! 🎉 @AjTrek1 and I were talking about the celebrations and came up with the idea of this topic. If you could design a special 20-year anniversary edition Sonos speaker, what would it look like? Think about our cool past collaborations like HAY and Beastie Boys – any unique design elements you would add to make this anniversary edition stand out? Here are a few questions to get you started:Design Aesthetics: What should the speaker look like? Would you go for a sleek, modern design or a nostalgic throwback to our early days? Favorite Speaker: Which Sonos speaker would you choose as the base for your design, and why? Special Features: Any unique features or functionalities that would make this speaker extra special?Share your ideas, sketches, and inspirations down below. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I live in Ireland and Sonos has kindly offered me a 25% discount off their products. However, it seems to be only for America when you go to pay. Why are they doing a general email to everyone registered with them when it is only for America? Not good PR again.

is it possible to return a Sonos product when it no longer works (outside of warranty) for recycling?
Now that the CEO is gone and that SONOS can’t really hit the bottom more I think it is time for SONOS to start prioritizing stuff that matter to their customers:1- Add DTS HD Support, even if it’s a one time paid-license. The ARC Ultra or ERA300 are more than capable of decoding this. Lots of films are using this format2- Be able to add front-surround speakers. The ARC Ultra is nice but of your lounge/TV room is super large, then it’s notideal3- Re-add local mode. Now everything goes through internet. What happens if SONOS servers are off? What else do you miss/need on your system?
Hello! I saw your excellent initiative, which I really liked, but unfortunately, I cannot take advantage of this great price in Hungary. I have tried several places, including the SONOS website and their customer service, but this offer is not available in Hungary. I have a SONOS ARC soundbar and I would like to complement it with 2 Era 300 speakers. This product is very expensive here; I just calculated that each piece costs nearly 500 €. I would like to have a good solution for this here as well. Thank you very much

I ordered a black Arc Ultra from one of your suppliers in Portugal in November last year and I'm still waiting. Supplier blames lack of deliveries to Portugal. They have white but not black. What's the problem?

Look at how the package design for the Play:5/Five has changed through the years. Which design is your favorite? Which is your least favorite? My favorite has always been #2. I always liked the contrast of the bright gradient of colors with the darker panels and black speaker. As much as I appreciate sustainable packaging, my least favorite would have to be #4. But kudos to Sonos for actually giving a damn about our planet.
Hey everyone. Today, I am excited to introduce a special guest, Stacy Archibald, one of our Beta Program Managers at Sonos with over 13 years of experience. Having worked on numerous hardware programs, features, and software development projects, Stacy brings a unique perspective on the company's journey. That's why we reached out to her to share her insights on the community and her time here at Sonos. Here is what we asked her: What is your role at Sonos and how long have you been working here? My total tenure at Sonos is just over 13 years. For the past ten, I have been a Beta Program Manager working on hardware programs, features, and software. Before that I worked in Music Service Operations for about a year, and started here as a Retail Experience Specialist for 2 years. How has the community and its discussions influenced your work? Our community has always played a pivotal role in everything we do at Sonos, especially my position in Beta. The voice of our customer is one we rel
Hey everyone,Last week, we mentioned it was time to show off your setups, and we hope you've had a chance to make them presentable! I've been on a journey with Sonos for years, starting with just one speaker (my dear Sonos One) and gradually building up to a full home audio system with a Beam and two Sonos Ones. My setup is still evolving as I try to find what works best for me, and I'd love to hear about your experiences too.How has your setup changed over time? Have you added more speakers, upgraded models, or tried out new features? What’s your favorite part of your current setup? For me, it's the ability to “hide” the speakers in plain sight.Feel free to post pictures of your Sonos setup—I’m curious to see how you've arranged your speakers and integrated them into your home. Do you have any tips or tricks for getting the best sound or making the most of your Sonos system? I'd love to hear them.Personally, my recent upgrade has been adding a pair of console tables to place my Era 30
I’ve logged into my account, navigated to Upgrade and selected 2 items that are eligible for the upgrade offer of 15%. However when trying to add anything to my cart, it tells me there is a problem.I logout from my account and I can add any item I wish to my account, but I lose the 15% upgrade offer and I can’t see of a way to remove the items. So at the moment under my account I can’t purchase anything.
Hi, I had an issue with my Sonos ERA 100, the device is 9 months old, so Sonos agreed to replace - I was sent a RMA / postage label, and sent item off to Poland. The item arrived at Poland warehouse 9 days ago as per the UPS tracking, but I haven’t received any email from Sonos to advise item has arrived or when a replacement device will be sent out. I have phoned Sonos support to request an update but am just told to wait a few days longer - but it’s been nearly 3 weeks since this process started so really missing my Sonos. Is this experience normal, and how long do people typically wait from faulty item being delivered to Poland warehouse to when a replacement device was received? Thank you in advance.
Last 26th of January I bought a Sonos Roam 2. I have my house full of Sonos devices, have always encouraged other people to be brave, pay extra money and have a Sonos system, but my recent experience could not be worse.I am not buying any more Sonos devices, and I am definitely not encouraging anybody to do so.It was supposed to be a gift, a quite good gift. I gave it to my friend and the device did not work properly. After a bit of embarrasement I said, never mind, let me contact Sonos and have it replaced. My experience with the online shop was so awful , did a mistake with the color (black instead of white), was imposible to modify it ,online, that I did bought one through Amazon (without any stress at all).Anyway, the 4th of February I asked the item to be retuned because it did not work properly, thankfully did a screen-shot of it… and my nightmare started…The message clearly say that in 48-72 hours I would receive a email with instructions about how to proceed with the return.Afte
