Hi,Trying to replicate a “home theatre” type of sound on main floor.Would I be better doing:sonos arc, 2 rear ceiling speakers, sub 2 front ceiling speakers, 2 ceiling speakers, sub other?Currently own 2 pairs of ceiling speakers, amp, subThanks in advance

 This is what I'm greeted with every time I try to use the Sonos app. I'm currently on Android app version 12.0.4. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 12.0.3 which worked fine before this update but I'm having the same issues with that. I've completely reset all my speakers and set them up again this time using an iPhone.Everything works fine from the iPhone app.I have a 5.1 setup, 2 Ones, a sub and an arc. Turning the arc off and back on again allows me in as far as the main Sonos app screen but if I try to select any sound source e.g. Sonos Radio, TV etc. the app force closes and I am greeted with the 'Sonos keeps stopping' window every time I try to open it.This has made my almost €2000 setup impossible to use/control. Very disappointed.I'm using a OnePlus 7 Pro on Android version 10. I feel like I've tried everything and only an update to the so Sonos app might fix this but any help would be greatly appreciated as this has been going on for close to a week now. I am upgrading my Playbar to an Arc.  any advice on how to use the Playbar ? can it function as an independent speaker in the bedroom for example ? 

Hi all,I’ve been having issues for a while with Beam and my TV, namely that Beam refuses to play any audio after my TV has idled or been turned off via remote, or a lot of times when switching between Spotify and TV audio.My setup is a Hisense TV, connected to the Beam via HDMI Arc. TV audio output is set to HDMI etc.Initially the problem was that if I played Spotify through the beam and then tried to watch TV/Youtube etc, no audio would play, even after selecting TV audio in the app. It almost  always required a full power cycle of the TV and Speaker before it would work, pretty annoying but i lived with it for a while.I recently purchased a Chromecast with Google TV, which is now connected to my TV via HDMI.Audio works fine for all the usual chromecast apps, Youtube, netflix, Disney spotify etc, however if my TV goes idle (If nothing is playing for a couple hours etc), when i turn it back on the Beam does not output any audio, even if TV Audio is selected via the app, and requires a

I installed two Sonos 1 speakers into a new kitchen extension and created them as a stereo pair using Sonos S2 app from outset. I then installed an Arc (when it finally arrived) into the same kitchen (it is connected to TV). The moment I added the Arc the original Sonos 1 stereo pairing unconnected and the Arc will only recognise one of the Sonos 1 speakers. The system refuses to create a Stereo Pair and will now only recognise one of the Sonos One speakers. Given that the system only recognises one One the I can’t create required Stereo Pair. I can play directly (separately to both of the Ones and the Arc via Airplay on phone). With no stereo pair I therefore cannot make the surround sound with the Arc which I purchased the system for. Have reset, rebooted, flashed orange to eternity, killed power, reloaded Sonos 2 app ad infinitum). At present I wish I had stayed wired and gone with a wired surround system + various airplay options. 

I’ve recently tried to install my first Sonos System consisting of two Sonos One SL controlled by the latest version of new Sonos app on IOS. The guide i used:(https://en.community.sonos.com/setting-up-sonos-228990/setting-up-a-sonos-system-and-can-t-connect-to-sonos-6846488)The Problem:Everything went fine besides connecting both devices to the wifi. After connecting them they won’t appear in the app but they receive a IP and can be cleary seen in the Router.Using a stable LAN connection works without a problem. No special network components used besides a Repeater which works fine for other devices 

I recently purchased the Sony Bravia OLED LCD TV Class A8H 65” along with the Sonos Arc. Upon connecting everything, lip sync problem was very noticeable. After reading numerous posts in Sonos Community, I started navigating the Sony TV configuration menus. These are the settings on my Sony Bravia TV which solved lip sync problem for me:Display & Sound   1. Sound - Sound Mode - Dolby Audio  2. Audio Output       Speakers - Audio System      Audio System Prioritization - On      Sound mode sync - On      A/V Sync - Auto      eARC mode - Auto      Digital audio out - Auto 1      Digital audio out volume - Max       Dolby Digital Plus Output - Dolby Digital Plus      Pass through mode - AutoGive these settings a try if you have a Sony OLED LCD and are having lip sync problems with the Sonos Arc.After entering above settings, I reverted Sonos Lip Sync to 0.Cheers.

Hi, I am trying to connect my new Beam. The white light flashes for 30 seconds & then turns blank. The app initially finds it, I press ADD but then it can’t find it or connect. I have disconnected the power multiple times, reset the router, moved it to different locations but always the same result/error message. I have successfully added the other components- sub, S1’s & Move. Any help would be great!

I’m getting crackling sound on my Sonos Playbar. It happens during Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2, only. I submitted diagnostic information (1718969641). Could it be isolated only to this episode?

Everyday now after about a month of perfect use my arc and sub now are unable to connect to Sonos on the app so I now have some very expensive paper weights  im very close to just selling them as this is so frustrating any help would be much appreciated I’ve reset both the sub and arc and they connected straight away,then I’ve come home from work put the tv on and you can tell there not working, check the app and it’s unable to connect to Sonos  please help   

Good day.  Purchased Sonos Beam, Subwofer and Sonos One.  Sonos2 application for Samsung Galaxy 10, Android latest version.  Everything is in the common wifi network.  Cannot play music from the device to the speakers.  The application writes ‘Song title’ is no longer available on Samsung 970e .. Please support how to set streaming music from mobile iOS Android to speakers.very Thanks. Miroslav

can sonos play:1 pair with sonos one SL

Hi Everyone,   I own a Sonos Beam, as well as 4 additional Sonos One SL’s.   I have a 900 sqft apartment, and using Spectrum internet with a download speed of 224 mpbs, upload at 10.4 mbps (if that matters).   When I have the speakers on all at once, when changing songs or hitting next, some speakers cut out for about 30 seconds before coming back on.    At first I thought this was a Spotify issue so I signed up for Apple Music to test my theory, and it seems to be the same case.    Does anyone else experience this issue? If so, what has helped you?

Have new Sonos SLs paired with an ARC . Every 4-5 days the rears disappear from the app and aren’t connected to the system or WiFi . How can I fix permanently? 

Hi there. First of all thank you Sonos for making this incredible soundbar. We are in love with it. I think I know the answer but I wanted to make sure. I have my Sonos Arc soundbar and I connected to hdmi arc. I have tried everything but couldn't get it the Atmos. We only get 5.1.  I bought the new Apple tv 4k as well and there I can get Dolby Vision but still no Atmos. I'm afraid my tv is not compatible. But why have the ARC connection then? I am getting a new TV and I have a playbase set up on my old TV.  What kind of process is needed to hook the playbase up to the new TV?  Do I need to install it again or just plug in the audio cable?

So my sub is saying not configured. When I select finish adding to my system and add to room (lounge), I keep getting  a message saying there was a problem setting up your sub.I have checked in About my System’ and my sub is showing as connected to the WiFi .This is driving me insane, my arc and sonos one’s have been set up with no issues.I have tried numerous times re-setting the sub and starting from scratch. 😡🤦‍♀️

Hi I’m not sure if it’s info overload from the internet or I’m just a bit slow but I’d be really grateful for any pointers on a set up for the following since the Beam is back in its box now :-(SONY BDPS6700B blu-ray side of room connection to projector via hdmi within walls and ceiling.SONOS BEAM ideally placed beneath projection screenEPSON TW-650 projector mounted on ceiling via hdmi from Blu-ray,How can i connect the Beam, ideally without cables running around the room. But failing that any solution would be appreciated.I’m confused with switchers, Amazon prime Bluetooth, hdmi arc on one and not the other.… Thanks in advancePs I’m not even going to ask about the two Sonos play1s since i think the os is updated.   

Diagnostics- 315833212 Up until recently everything was working fine. Nothing has changed in the system or surrounding devices. The sub cutting in and out during 5.1, surrounds still playing though.  I’ve hardwired the playbar, and that didn’t seem to help. I’ve also restarted the router which reduces how often it happens, but it still occurs.There are no 5ghz items within 10 feet of the playbar except for the WiFi range extender which is running on a different channel than sonos net.  Any thoughts?

Hii decided to switch my old playbar to an Arc. While impressed with the sound I have issues with some streaming apps doesn’t output any sound at all. It’s now disconnected and I am currently using the TVs built in speakers.The Arc is connected to a Samsung UE55KS8005 to its HDMI ARC port. I mainly use an Apple TV 4K to stream content. Now to the strange part. Some apps, like Netflix and Disney+ is working as expected. As well PlayStation 4 and raspberry pi. But some apps is streaming video but no audio. For instance, a Swedish public tv app SVT Play. A friend has the exact same setup and it works at his place, except the TV that is different.It’s strange because I would believe that the Apple TV outputs audio in the same way for all apps. The only way to get the sound from those apps is through airplay but that’s a workaround I’m not that interested in.Anyone have a clue on how to fix it? I would deeply appreciate a solution to this so that I can enjoy my new Arc. thanks in advance! e

I have just changed my Sky HD box for Sky Q2 box in conjunction with Samsung 4K smart TV and Sonos Beam. I find that on switching the system off at night, when I come to use in the morning there is no sound until I increase the volume myself, also the same thing occurs after pausing a recording to leave the room and so on. This did not happen before. The engineer just swapped boxes and there we are, so any ideas, please where the problem originates?

Hi I’ve recently purchased a beam which I am using with two play:1 speakers for my TV.  im finding that a lot of the time the sound is out compared to the picture which is really frustrating. Sometimes it’s fine (more on terrestrial channels) but moving to the digital programmes like sky sports, movies, Netflix’s etc, there is a delay.  ive looked at the sonos f&q page and have tried what they suggest, but still can’t seem to get it right.  can anyone help with the best way to fix the problem? If it helps, the TV is a Samsung 65” 2020 QLED

I have the Sonos Arc and one (1) Sonos One speaker. Is it possible to pair the two so that the Arc plays music along with the Sonos One? Right now only the Sonos One will play music through the Sonos app

hi! I’m trying to set up my Bean with my Pioneer PDP5080.  Unfortunately, my TV is 7 years old and doesn’t have an Arc input and the optical out is only for Dolby Digital and I was told by Pioneer it wasn’t meant to be compatible with a soundbar.  Is there any work-around here? Basically i was told by Sonos I can get a refund with no other solution.  I was really excited for my Beam to have some better sound quality for my TV but also to use it as a speaker for music. I also have an appleTV 4k -not sure if that matters or not. 

New Beam sound bar sounds hollow and echos after tuning with my iPhone 11 on TruPlay. help
