My SONOS was playing sound just fine but when a friend tried pairing with a SONY speaker I had, she inadvertently tried pairing it to my Sony TV which has my SONOS hooked to it. As soon as I canceled the attempt, my SONOS quit playing sound thru my TV. I have not been able to get it to work again. I’ve tried resetting the TV speakers to internal & then back to external. I’ve tried pushing the button on the back of the SONOS arc. I’ve tried unplugging the HDMI cable to the SONOS, waiting 30 seconds & plugging it back in. I’ve tried unplugging the HDMI cable to the SONOS, waiting for my TV to switch automatically to internal speakers, plugging it back in & waiting for my TV to switch automatically back to my external speakers, which it does but still no sound. I’ve tried unplugging the power to the SONOS, TV & DISH Joey, waiting 30 seconds & plugging it back in. I’ve tried resetting the Joey & the network connection. I have a SONOS Boost, but I didn’t try unpluggi

Hi, i am having an issue with volume not syncing between normal stereo content and high res audio.I have an LG 55 nano90 2020 model. I work with a Chromecast with google tv. Chromecast is in hdmi stating higher refresh rate. And Soundbar is plugged into the eArc port. Chromecast is also directly plugged in with Ethernet.*Yes ALL my stuff is updated to latest software. (Computer nerd, build computers...have Plex server...)At first I struggled to get the Atmos or Dolby format to play. Was only getting stereo. Finally found setting in Chromecast to allow surround sound formats and also set tv to passthrough.*Other settings hdmi is set to bitrate and not pcm. I have tried turning eArc on and Off. Unplugged system so it could reset between swapping. I have tried to turn off and on the CEC settings in Chromecast and or tv to see if that would help...nothing.I don't know what else to try...i have fiddled with app settings but not much. I see there was remote setups but it doesn't pick up my C

Hi, my Wi-Fi at work crashed and was not working correctly, we had to do a bunch of resets to the system, once I got it resolved, the Sonos system was unable to connect to the speakers or spotify, I determined that reconnecting the speakers would solve the issue after trying one so I set them all up on a new system via my phone. After that all the speakers were working and are able to play music but I can no longer find them on any of our register or office computers. Most of the desktops are using an ethernet connection, however our office computer has a Wi-Fi connection and was also not able to find anything with the sonos app. We do have a backup Verizon network that may have kicked in at several points, however I think its supposed to be the same network since we don't have to do anything on the computer to switch to it. Does anyone know any solutions for this issue, or would a Boost make it work again? Thanks!

My Sonos One SL had been set up for 9 months and worked perfectly. Yesterday i went to use it and it was not on the menu for available rooms. I tried a hard reset and then to add it back to the network. It can be located and then the app tries to connect to the home wifi network it comes up with this message: “Your Sonos One SL has been added but may not appear in the system tab. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish set up from the system tab”. Once done it still does not appear on the system tabI have tried to add it back to the network by hard wiring it to the router but this also failed. Thanks for any advice given.  

Hello Community, I’ve followed the connection instructions for Arc to TV through the app.  I have no success.  I’ve switched TV off, app off, tired different HDMI cables.  Still fail. Help…?Thx Dan 

I have a beam that’s hardwired with my Ethernet cable and connected via HDMI ARC. Also have an Amazon Fire Stick 4K. I still get intermittent cut outs. But ONLY with Disney+ and HBO Max. Haven’t noticed that happen on Hulu, ESPN, Paramount+, Netflix, YouTube. PlayStation 4 or Apple TV.How do I fix this? Diagnostic # 693926820 Edit: not answered. Accidentally hit the check mark

I have moved house. Previously my Beam was connected to my Panasonic TV via a HDMI ARC. TV sound could be controlled via Panasonic remote, Beam also functioned as a speaker for music. In our new house, my Sonos sysem works fine with the new network. However, we have a Sky Q box connected to the TV via DHMI. Plugged in Sonos Beam into the TV HDMI ARC input. Sonos does not recognise this. Error message is “HDMI ARC not detected”. Tried diferent HDMI cables, turning things ON and OFF, disconnectiing the Sky Q box. Same error message. Any ideas?

My sonos sub refuses to connect to my sonos arc. The ARC and SUB are connected on the same network and will only connect to the ARC via hardware via my network and not via wifi.On the about system it says: Warning: Your wireless network will not support the use a sub or surrounds with the sonos Arc 

Hi,Got several Sonos devices including an arc and a pair of ones in my lounge and a beam in my Kitchen, as well as several 1’s in my dinning room and hallway.its the beam that got the issue,When listening to any music with a bassy beat one of the drivers sounds like its popped as sounds distorted, this is a recent phenomenon, so i'm assuming its a blown/popped driver, is this repairable as i dont fancy parting with £399 to replace the whole unit.Ive never used it hard or all that much, as it was my main speaker in my lounge when i lived in a semi detached house and i was mindful of annoying the neighbours, anyone else had this issue?TIANeil

Playing atmos movies from streaming services like netflix works fine even when loud. But when i play atmos dvds from my samsung dvd player there is an audible crackling sound thats associated to more bass heavy scenes no matter what volume it is set to. Primarily the transfomers age of darkness blu ray is one of the worst. It only occurs during atmos. If i change the dvd players ouput to regular 5.1 it no longer occurs. Any ideas whats wrong? Ive got the most up to date firmwares and highest hdmi versions needed.

Hey everyone, trying to get a universal remote to work for my tv and beam.  Getting the tv to work was no problem, but the beam on the other hand has not worked at all with it. So I first tried setting the code supplied by the remote manufacturer for Sonos, but that didn’t work.  That’s when I found via google that I should set it up via the Sonos app.  Since I’m using the optical plug, it asks to setup the remote.  So I click through and it says I should just have to peer + volume, but that still doesn’t do anything.the remote was coded to work with the TV, it’s an older plasma so I don’t have an ARC hdmi plug.  Any thoughts on what to do?

New ATV 4K 2021 user here with audio/lip sync issue having to do with Match Frame Rate.My set up is ATV 4K 2021 -> Sony X900H -> Sonos Arc. All cables are 2.1 compatible.With Match Frame Rate On, I get a noticeable audio sync issue across all apps. The audio is in front of the video by approximately 2 tenth of a second but the amount seems to vary a bit based on the app, and video format (SDR / HDR / DV).If I turn Match Frame Rate Off, the issue instantly goes away and the sound remains in sync across the board.If I want to keep match frame rate on, I can get the audio and video in sync pretty close with the Sonos app through the lip sync setting by delaying the audio. However, given that the amount of delay seems to change a bit based on each app, that doesn’t seem like a viable long term fix.I've also tried the wireless audio sync calibration on the ATV but that didn't help.For now, I've just turned match frame rate off and enabled Cinemotion on the Sony TV to take care of the

Hi all.  Recently, we had several power cuts at our home. I noticed that after every power cut, a pair of SL one are not re-syncing. After every power cut, I have to unplug and plung them both, for them to re-sync.  I have another SL one and a 5 and all are re-syncing w/o any issues after every power cut.  Any advice on why this is happening and how to fix it? Thank you.  Ron.

My question is about the possibility to connect the optical input of my Playbar to the hdmi arc output of my TV through the sonos adapter. it’s clear form thec spec that the adapter is to connect optical on tv to hdmi on new sonos products, but I would know if is possible the opposite (connect optical on sonos playbar to hdmi arc on tv). @Sonos: Please refer to diagnostic 1741523771.I cannot add my Sub to the Beam. It has been added before, but now I needed to reconnect it.The sub shows up in the iOS app, and when asked if I want to connect the sub to an existing sepaaker I choose my Beam. Then it does it's thing, and terminates with an error telling “something went wrong”. I then did a factory reset on the Sub - same result, twice. The assigned room shows the Beam, and the ability to “remove Sub “.I can also see in my router, and the “About my Sonos” that the Sub has been assigned an IP, and those match both in the router and in the Sonos APP.Still no sound from my Sub, though ;-)

Hi, I have a SONOS beam, 2 One SL and sub 3 gen, and I have a very recurring problem, my sub is misconfigured and it costs me a lot to reconfigure it from the app.  I do not know what the problem is for which it is deconfigured and neither because it costs me so much to add it again I have a Google nest wifi.  could someone help me please

 Hello, We have a multi-media room of 22' x 25' with cathedral ceilings (45 degree ceiling toping at 20').   We have a LG CX77 tv set.  As for speakers, we have 2 back speakers inserted in the sloped ceiling (±11' high).  We also have a Sonos Arc.  We will be buying a Sonos Subwoofer and would like to complete the set will 2 more front speakers. What would you suggest for the 2 front speakers ?Do you have any other recommandation for our media system ? Thanks in advance.   

Seeing as how I must borrow an iPhone from someone, I was wondering if it is even worth calibrating a Beam. I don’t have a sub or surrounds and I am not planning on getting any. Looks like the app can set treble, bass and balance, so I am not sure how much of a change could actually be expected.

My Sonos Arc suddenly stopped working with my LG OLED CX 77” TV. Both are brand new and had been working perfectly for 8 months. I got a new and slightly nicer LG OLED TV for a different room and another Arc. The issue is something with the 77” TV. Anyone else have this issue?  

Hi everyone!  First time having trouble with my system.  I have 2 play One’s a play 3, a sound bar, sub, boost and Ikea speaker.  Everything works EXCEPT my sub.  It happened right after the update.  I cannot even add the sub connected directly into the router.  The app finds my sub and tries to add it but fails.   Any thoughts? 

I am writing this question because I do not know if this setup would work. I would like to send the video signal from the Fire Stick TV (netflix content) to an HDMI to Optical Extrator and forward it to my projector (BenQ TH585) through the HDMI OUT. For the audio I would use the Optical Output from the extractor and connect it to my Sonos Beam. I would appreciate if someone could confirm if this setup would work.Thanks in advance! 

Hi,I have an issue with my alram. My alarm is set up to turn itself on every morning on Sonos in my bedroom only and works as it should every morning. That is not the problem. The problem arises when my girlfried turns off the music on our downstair speaker (Beam) on her Sonos app before going to bed. The next morning, the alarm turns itself on in the bedroom as expected but the downstair speaker starts playing the music (Spotify) we were listening too last night. it plays the same song we were listening too the day before. Do you have any idea to stop this bug?
