My Sonos Beam will not connect with my network anymore. I changed the password so when it says “Did you change the password” I say yes.Do you want to add a network? Yes.Find system...Sonos not found. I rebooted the system and the router. What do I do next? 

I’m getting the feeling I can’t add the Sub mini, because it won’t pair correctly with Gen3 sub? Is that correct?

We’ve inherited a Playbase and two Play 5’s (first gen) to add to our two s-one and play 3 having not used them for a while moving house etc. we cannot get these to show as reset and able to set up, they say we need S1 app but that insists we need to move to S2 app, the base cannot be found even after holding infinity button in. Any ideas?

Hello there, need a little help finishing my setup.My setup includes:Sonos Beam gen2BenQ tk700sti eARC supported 4K projector I read a few articles online and follow the troubleshooting steps but nothing help.Running out of idea and would need some help. I went as simple as I could and ran an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 slot of the projector to the Beam but the speaker won’t detect it for some reason ?

I have a surround sound setup with a Sonos Beam and two Sonos One speakers. It has been working great for the past year or so and just recently the Sonos One speakers have been disconnected from the system. I reset my router, performed a factory reset on all three speakers, reconnect everything, and then when I try to setup surround, I keep getting a message that “There was a problem. Check network connection and power.” Network has no issues and all speakers are connected to power (I’ve tried this process a number of times as well). I’m thinking the WiFi receiver in one (or both) of the Sonos One speakers is having issues. At one point, I was able to reconnect the surround setup (doing the same exact process), but then the next day speakers weren’t connected. It’s frustrating because I can connect all speakers to the network, and listen on each speaker individually or together. But when I try to “Setup Surrounds” it has an error and my only option is to exit the setup or try again. Wh

Any ideas when I setup my Sonos Mini sub I have to use the code at the bottom of the Mini Sub.  The NFC ( Near Field Communication) fails to recognise my iPhone or iPad.  Thanks  

I’ve just set up my Arc, One SL speakers and sub.I’ve got the volume on the Arc working with my virgin controller, but the TV standby button is no longer working. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks

I have a Beam (gen 2) sub mini and 2 One SL's acting as rear surrounds. i had to power off one of the one SL's and when i powered it back on it appeared in a new room (living room 2) not paired to the other One SL. Has anyone else seen this ? or knows why it has happened ? In order to get everything back to normal i had to remove the "surround pair" from “living room” and then remove each One SL from the room it was in. then readd a "new" pair of surrounds and go through the setup process again.  i'm concerned this is going to happen every time i turn off a speaker or if there's a power cut.

Hi all,I have Playbar and just purchased a sub mini to pair with it.  System is using SonosNET.I successfully connected the sub to the network, updated the software and paired it with the playbar.  Unfortunately very shortly thereafter, the sub seems to have dropped from the network.  In the system setting section it shows as Playbar (+?) rather than Playbar (+sub).  If I restart the sub, it seems to connect briefly but as soon as I try playing sound from the TV, it drops again.I have tried 3 factory resets and moving the sub to different locations with similar results.  In one case, I was able to get music to play from Spotify through the Playbar which engaged the sub briefly but it eventually dropped again.Any suggestions?thanks in advance,Kevin 

After running Trueplay on a stereo system with a Sub or Sub Mini the amount of bass decreases and noticed that it's not as heavy feeling/sounding even after adjusting the Sub Audio.I know there is nothing wrong with my system, but I do feel like Trueplay does dampen the bass the Subs output.Is this normal behavior and do I need to adjust the bass level in the EQ along with the Sub Aduio settings?

Both untis are up to date on firmwareI have Beam Gen 2 connected to 802.11n 2.4ghz network, and it’s working fineI have no problem adding the sub mini to my accountProblem comes when I add Sub Mini to my Beam Gen 2 right after I register the Sub MIni to my account, and before I add it to my Beam Gen 2, I can ping Sub Mini’s IP just fineAfter I add Sub Mini to my Bean Gen 2, I can no longer ping Sub Mini’s IPIn the sonos S2 app, error message is“There was a problem adding your Sub Mini.  Check the network connection and make sure your product is powered on”Sub Mini status light is constant whiteand I have reboot Sub Mini many timesEven after reboot, I still can’t ping Sub Mini’s IP address Anyone know what’s going on?Thanks 

Sonos sub feels more pronounced from right side of it ( right frame). so I’m wandering why do I feel the bass less pronounced when standing to its left ( facing it) ?I have done auto tune and tried with and without it. Flipped the phase control to the other setting (than the auto tune set it to) and it was worse.so the autotune got it right.. Anybody had this “issue”?

Hi, I have a Sonos Ray connect to my Samsung TV the volume control on the Samsung. One remote does not seem to function using the optical output. I’m not able to control the volume. I’ve tried setting up the universal remote. It’s not recognising it in the option when I try doing the power test. It works when I connect my Spotify account to the Sonos Ray and I am able to control the volume using the Samsung one remote, but I can’t control the volume on the Samsung TV. I have already researched the forum but couldn’t find a suitable solution that worked. Please advise 

I’ve got a Sony X95J and connect my Beam Gen2 via earc.   The problem I have is the TV no longer recognizes the beam after I use the beam for non-tv purposes.For example:  when the TV is off, I play/stream music (Amazon Music) on the beam.  When Im done, I shut the music off.  When I turn the TV on to watch TV, only the tv speakers work, and no sound comes from the beam.The only way to get the beam to work again is to unplug the HDMI and power cable from the beam, then replug it back on.Any ideas?  this is becoming annoying.  I had a decent soundbar prior to this, but wanted a Alexa compaitable device to control my smart devices and play music.   

Hello all, I only manage to get PCM Stereo with my setup when I’m playing.My TV settings are like this : ​​​​Digital Audio Out : PassThrough eARC enable My PS5 settings : Output Device - HDMI Device (Soundbar) HDMI Device Type - Soundbar Audio Format (Priority) - Linear PCMAll my devices are supposed to support PCM multichannel… Am I missing something ? Thanks for the help !

Over the past two months the sound has stopped working on our ARC SL home theater. After checking out my LG display and Apple TV 4k each time the solution happened to be Sonos updates. Sometimes its firmware, sometimes its a controller issue. In each case we found that doing the update brought the sound back. We have three iPhones and an iMac with controller software, though we never use them. Every time the sound quits, I now have to walk around the house checking devices to see which one needs the update. With out previous Playbar HT as well as the ARC SL HT, I recall being able to go several full versions of controller software before anything would go wrong with our systems and now we can’t skip even a minor point release release. Once the system was set up and working perfectly, there’s no need to update the software at all.  So why the forced update gimmick? 

Hi there, My Sonos Beam is lowering the volume automatically just after I turned it up. It lowers the volume to the same value (15) again and again. It does not matter if I control the volume on the beam itself or via different apps (sonos app, spotify android or macOS, tv remote). I already tried unplugging the device, wait and rebot but to no avail. The light on top of the beam is also blinking white and red. I have not touched or moved the beam or cables in ages. Diagnostic report:199665785Hope you guys can help me out here.

Have had this setup since July and for awhile during some movies on cable tv HBO, Stars and others I will get a crackling through the Arc during voice parts. Doesn’t happen every time.  submitted a diagnostic with number 2050195451

I’m having an issue with the volume of the system going up way too high when playing a playlist and it’s the 3rd or 4th song on the list. It gets so high that I can’t leave music playing without having the phone in hand to turn it down when this happens. It’s gets so loud almost full volume but the volume setting stays same, just acts like somehow the content volume is changing. I have to skip song to fix issue. It happens every time. Anyone else with this issue? Im curious how to resolve this. 

Hi,My Sonos Beam is connected via a HDMI cable to the TV. But my Router/Moden is at the other end of the flat and I cannot connect my Sonos Beam to the home network via an Ethernet cable.Now my question is: Can I connect my Sonos Beam via WiFi to my home network?Thanks

Good afternoon,Just purchased a refurb Sonos Beam gen 1 from Sonos to add to my old tv set-up.Have connected utilising the supplied optical adapter as tv doesn't have Arc. Other components include, Blu-ray, Amazon Fire Cube and Humax freesat box (HDR1100).My issue is that Freesat box only plays through Beam in stereo, even if broadcast is in Dolby Digital. Freesat box settings appear correct (Audio type stereo (only options right, left and stereo) & Digital audio out - multi channel). When playing apps via Amazon Fire Cube (Prime, Netflix or Disney Plus), the broadcast is in Dolby Digital.I thought this may have been a limitation of old tv, however, why would one play back in digital and one in stereo - same programme in Netflix via Humax is in stereo whereas via cube is in digital.Any help/guidance would be extremely welcome.Many thanks

I am based in the UK and have my Sky Q hdmi output connected to my Hue Synch box, which is then connected to my LG 65inch OLED TV. All is working fine until I plug in my Beam via the eARC HDMI output. Plugging in the Beam causes the synch box to keep crashing. The only way I can use them both together is to have my Beam connected to the optical output from my Sky Q box, losing the Atmos capability. Surely as most of the UK uses Sky we should not be getting this conflict. I am not sure what the Beam is outputting that causes the issue.    

Hi! I’m trying to add a Connect Amp as surround speakers for Playbase. The problem is that my router is upstairs, i.e. nowhere near these devices. My question is can I wire the Playbase and Connect Amp via Ethernet cables to router 1 that sits downstairs but isn’t connected to the internet AND have the devices use router number 2 upstairs for wifi and Internet access? As far as I know, using the Connect Amp for surround speakers wouldn’t need internet access via the Ethernet cable, just the signal from the TV via TOSLINK. But then I could play music off the Internet via wifi when needed. Is this possible or a pipe dream? =D
