Have you bonded the Sub Mini to the Beam by following the instructions in this article?

Does the Sub Mini play audio when playing TV audio from the Beam?
Is the Beam or Sub Mini wired to the router with an ethernet cable?
Be sure to keep Wifi enabled on both the Beam and Sub Mini in the Sonos app.
