I have 2 AMP’s. One AMP feeds my Kitchen with 4 hardwired ceiling speakers.  Great sound.  My 2nd AMP supports our living room with two hardwired ceiling speakers.  I have an ARC connected to my Samsung Frame TV via HDMI cable.   Neither of the AMP’s are HDMI connected to my Samsung Frame TV.  The two AMP’s are located in my media room closet on the other side of the house and are not connected to my Samsung Frame. The following are the connections that I would like to have.    I want my two hardwired family room speakers to play my Spotify music with the ARC speakers in sync. I have my ARC linked to the 2nd AMP.   Do I need to connect the ARC to the 2nd AMP with an Ethernet cable to allow music to be played in sync? How do I make this connection to allow the ARC and the 2 Living Room ceiling speakers play music at the same time? I also want to use my 2 living room hardwired ceiling speakers connected to my 2nd AMP to work with the ARC that is HDMI connected to my Frame TV to obtain su

Overnight, my Sonos ARC stopped working properly with my LG Oled CX. I tried changing the HDMI cable, reset the TV and unplugged all other devices. When the audio output is set to CEC with eARC enabled on the tv, audio output works. When eARC is disabled, audio output does not work. CEC volume control does not work anymore, and the Sonos app says ‘ARC Mode not connected’ when doing a tv setup. Already tried setting up universal control again to no avail. This issue seemingly happened overnight, probably due to a software update? Diagnostics 1479171840

Hi all, I hope for someone who can help me about a clarification:for Home theatre is possible use ARC and AMP with passive subwoofer? eventually I can add also 2 rear speakers?  to listen a vinyl I connect a turntable in AMP form Line-in but I can use the same configuration up of home theatre?In this case the HDMI ARC cable from tv must be connected in AMP or in ARC? Thanks

I just bought Sonos ARC and thought I was going to be blown away. The sound does not fill the room Instead the volume is very low and not very involving. I have to turn it up a lot to make it better than the TV. I have a Sony Bravia A80J. For example, if I keep it at 30 on the TV, on the soundbar I have to bring it to 45-50 to have the same sensations. I tried all kinds of settings.. I raised the highs and lows even from the Sonos APP. Has anyone else had the same experience? How did he solve the problem?I haven't used trueplay yet

Which is a better option and why HDMI or Optical , Coz we don't have an HDMI option in Ray Mini SoundBar , is it ok to not have HDMI port in Ray soundbar.  

Hi, I’m sure this question might have been asked before but trying to figure out how to best to do this.  I have a playbar, sonos sub, 2x sonos 1 speakers and just got an amp + 2 ceiling speakers.  I was thinking of using playbar + sub + amp (and 2 ceiling speakers) for a 5.1 surround set up (or a 3.1.2 set up if I understand the nomenclature correctly). Can I do this? Which device would I connect to my TV (the amp or the playbar)?  Could I do a 7.1 set up if I used the Sonos 1 speakers as well? (Or 5.1.2 if I understand)  

Hi,I am trying to connect a Gen 1 Beam to an older style display monitor that has analog RCA out (and no HDMI ARC), to an Analog to Digital Converter to the small digital audio TOSlink/HDMI adapter (that comes with the Beam) to HDMI cable into the Beam. Display RCA Out => ADC convertor => Beam digital audio/HDMI adapter cable => HDMI cable => BeamNo success.I definitely have an RCA out signal from the display. I have tested this by connecting directly to an old Receiver.The Beam setup does not find the signal.Has anyone successfully used this configuration? There are no success (or unsuccessful stories) I can find online.I can’t understand why it wouldn’t work (however messy it may seem).  The older style display monitor is of excellent quality and is a shame I can’t use my Beam with it for some decent sound.  I use an Amazon Firestick in the Display to stream Netflix, Prime, Spotify and the local terrestrial TV channels that are available via each station’s App installed t

Hi!Not without problems, I’ve finally paired new Apple TV Remote with my 1st gen. Beam. The only problem left is that volume down button is increasing the volume. When paired with different remote everything is fine. Also old Siri Remote worked fine. Please help! Surely someone had the same problem!

The remote will adjust the volume when watching TV or listening to music when the TV is off. Is there any way to pause music with the remote when the TV is off?

If I run an e-arc HDMI cable from the projector ( it has regular HDMI and e-arc HDMI ) to the e-arc HDMI of the Sonos Arc how  and where do I then connect the APPLE TV player so I can watch shows on the projector getting e-arc sound from the ARC? I don’t have a television. I don’t want to have to mirror shows from the Apple because it doesn’t work well with the Sonos ARC.Can I run the e-arc HDMI from projector to input of the Fury Arcana and then run an HDMI output from the fury arcana to the apple HDMI and then an e-arc output from the Fury to the Sonos ARC? 

I own 2 x Arcs.I was watching walking dead on one of them at nearly 50 % volume which is what I would expect.I then watched a movie in the living room and volume was super loud even at about 10 - 15% volume.Because of this the loudness eq makes the bass so loud and over emphasised as it is adaptive at lower volume,The the only way we could watch the movie was with night mode on in order to hear the dialogue without being blown out of the sofa (Terminator 2 on ATV for info)I tried walking dead in the living room this am and again this could only be played at a very low volume.The only difference in the 2 systems is I have a sub mini on the living room system.Could that be causing the huge volume variation between the 2 systems???

I’ve had an ARC for a while, but finally got a TV with an eARC port. When playing movies I occasionally hear static coming from the ARC. This seems to happen more often during bass heavy scenes, but that is not always the case. Sometimes it happens when people are just talking. The static seems to be coming from the ARC, and not the surrounds. This happens regardless of what streaming service I use (Netflix, HBO Max, Plex, etc.) I have the following setup:ARC+Sub+RS+LSApple TV 4KSamsung UN75AU8000 I’ve seen others with this issue and have tried the following:Replaced HDMI Cables going to ATV and ARC with higher speed cables (HDMI 2.1) Set eARC output on TV to Pass through, Auto, PCM, etc.  Reset audio/video settings on ATV and started over.  Rebooted the Sonos Updated the Sonos FirmwareIs there anyone who has had this issue occurring with this setup? I recently purchased the Arc to replace my original sound bar, in my original set up I had a sub and two play1’ in my surround system. I upgraded the bar to arc as I was moving house. I am using new spectrum router and modem. The arc is working and I also somehow managed to get the sun connected to the arc.I am having multiple issues, 1) my new network doesn’t recognize my play1s,2) the app also doesn’t show my current network in the settings, system, network, section.  

Hi allive had this problem for a while now, tried all settings etc.I have a LG C2 connected to Sonos arc via earc/arc port. 2 ones for surround and sub.no problems whatsoever when toggled to arc, plays perfectly,no issues.as soon as earc is toggled on , every few minutes a slight glitch/drop in sound occurs, only brief, but noticeable. TV problem or Sonos problem?

Ahoj dá se vypnout Arc při poslechu muziky a poslouchat jen zadní One SL a používat pro ovládání Alexu? Opačně to jde ale chtěl bych to zkusit i naopak.Vim že když jsou použity One SL jako zadní prostorové repro mají vypnuty mikrofony a vše řídí Arc.V aplikaci je položka vypnutí prostorových reproduktorů a vypnutí Arc a poslech prostorových repro nevidím.Chtěl bych slyšet co dokážou bez pomoci Arc.

I used the Arcana Fury work around for the Sky Q lip sync issues and it has worked ok, pity about the extra cost. Now looking at moving from Sky Q to Sky Stream (Puck). So the question is does the Sonos Arc work seamlessly with the Sky stream or is there any work around required. Basically does the Stream eliminate lip sync issues?  Anyone gone down this road yet? Thanks

I wheel my Arc on a TV cart to a closet when not in use - when my Arc is unplugged I would like to use my surrounds for music but the app will not let me without the Arc plugged in - anything I can do?

Hi, I am hoping to get some assistance with a problem that seems to be occurring once or twice a week and usually involves spending upwards of 30 minutes trying to resolve.I have had a Sonos system since 2014. Currently the system is comprised of a Move, Roam, an IKEA Symfonisk Lamp (Gen 1), a Beam (Gen 2) and a Sub (Gen 3).All of the products are connected via a Wi-Fi network. I do not have the Sonos Boost box.It seems that occasionally (perhaps 1-2 times per a week on average), I lose Wi-Fi connectivity in the house. Usually this is resolved without any intervention from myself and the Move, Roam and Lamp all seem to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network by themselves and don’t cause any issues.With regards the Beam / Sub, one of two things can happen:Beam still shows up in the Sonos App but with a “?” next to it, implying that the Sub is missing. Powering off the Sub at the wall and rebooting does not fix the issue. If I want to add the Sub back to the system I have to power off at the wal

just got off the phone with support, they had me to do what I had already done, the long &  short, it looks like the join button no longer works…..  anyone else experience this? any fixes?

I recently purchased a Samsung Q60BA    I connected my Sonos Amp via hdmi arc. I am running the audio through my analog out speakers.  I have the delay set at 2000.  I turned off all processing on the tv audio and I still have a slight delay.  I also grouped my beam to use as a center speaker. Even when the beam is turned all the way down I notice a small delay through the analog connected speakers.  Any suggestions?

I’m considering purchasing a RAY Soundbar. I have a Sky Q remote which i currently use to control the TV volume. The remote doesn’t work on IR, I believe it works on Bluetooth (like a firestick).  Is it possible for this Sky remote to control the volume of the RAY?   

Hello,I’m in the process of wiring up an addition and was wondering if the setup in the below file would work or is overkill.  I’m looking to get either 4.1 without the Beam or 5.1 if possible with the Beam.  Great RoomThe idea would be to connect 2 in-ceiling and 2 in-wall speakers to 1 AMP for front left and right (1 wall and 1 ceiling for each channel), 2 in-ceiling and 2 in-wall speakers to 1 AMP for rear left and right, 1 Beam (not necessarily for center), and 1 Sonos Sub.  The space is 27’x20’ with a 17’ cathedral ceiling.  Any input or advice is appreciated! 

I am trying to control the volume on my ARC + Connect AMP via Apple TV remote. I cant seem to group them together. When I adjust the volume on the remote, it would just control the volume for the arc. Any suggestions? My current setup is Sonos Arc connected to Samsung Tv via ARC Hdmi cable and Apple TV is connected to HDMI 2 on the Samsung. Connect AMP is only connected to a Subwoofer and I have the play 1’s setup for surround. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

I have a Move, Roam SL, Play 1, and two Play 3’s connected to my home wifi (5g) but the Beam Gen 2 won’t connect. It doesn’t even see the network. I’ve been through tech support 3 times and the Beam still won’t see or connect to the network even after I manually put in the network name and password.  The Beam is a new device.Anyone have any suggestions?
