setting a single era 300 with Arc

I recently added an era 300 to my house, I have the Arc in my TV room. I wanted to pair these two to create a surround, arc in the front with tv and the Era300 behind me, but the app wont let me pair them as “surround”!.
Do I have to own two (2) Era 300 to make this work?
