I have 4 speakers hardwired to my Amp.  I can play music through the speakers using my phone’s Bluetooth. I have an older model non smart TV that has a Firestick. I’d like to know how I can play my TV through the speakers? Do I need some adapter? Running wires from the TV to the amp is not desirable. Thanks.

Have a Frame TV with Samsung Ultra Thin Soundbar with Dolby Atmos (wife thinks the ARC is too big).  Am I correct that I can play my Sonos music through the Samsung soundbar with the Port, but there is no way to pair the soundbar with Sonos rear speakers for surround sound?

I’m looking to replace my old Samsung 49in TV with a new 55in TV, but can’t decide on a brand or model.I’d like to finally enjoy Atmos soundtracks (my current TV has no eArc connection, so eArc is a must), but also want to enjoy older blurays with DTS soundtracks (which has involved setting up my Samsung player to convert DTS to Dolby Digital). I’ve seen several people claim LG TVs no longer support DTS output, but I’m not sure if this is true...Most of my viewing is bluray/4k (though my current TV really doesn’t show much of a difference between regular bluray and 4k) and gaming via PS5.So, basically … can anyone recommend anything that’ll play nicely with my Beam (which is set up with two Play 1s and a Sub Mini) and give me the most faff-free surround/Atmos experience?Trying to keep the budget under around £800 unless it’s something exceptional.Thanks in advance for any advice! Should also say: It’s a Beam Gen 2!Moderator edit: combined posts

I was thinking how my Sonos Home theatre set up would sound with the Arc as a centre speaker and Era 300’s additional left and right.I have the Arc, 2 x Sub Gen 3 & 2 x Era 300’s for the  rears. When listening to this set up, I can’t help hear that the Arc is the weak link in the set up. For example, listening to the Era 300s as a pair sound great for Spatial content, but the Arc alone just sounds empty IMO, Im wishing Sonos would add the ability to use the Arc as a centre and Era 300’s or 100’s as front left and right. I think this would be an awesome Atmos setup. 

I have 2 era 300s and a sub 3gen, I have been thinking of buying a beam and I would like to ask how this combination works when listening to music? Can I place all three speakers in the front? My wish would be to use the beam as a center speaker, but it doesn't seem possible. How would you place the speakers yourself when I mostly listen to music. Right now I have connected the system to the TV via Apple TV. and it works well.

We play music in the house all our waking hours.  When we do watch TV it’s with the ARC.  It switches from music to TV pretty well.  However, when we are done with TV and turn it off the music does not resume.  If we tell Sonos to play music it will play at the higher TV volume we have set.  Any way to “ resume “ after TV?Any way to have a default MUSIC volume ( to go back to when we go from TV back to Music ) 

Hat jemand auch Probleme mit seiner Beam das bei manchen Unterhaltungen ein Metallisches oder Blecherndes Geräusch entsteht ? Sonos Support meinte sie würden an dem Problem arbeiten haben aber keine Problemlösung momentan stattdessen soll ich ihnen Daten zukommen lassen an welchen stellen in einem Film das auftritt....

HiI have recently bought the sonos beam 2 and the voice enhancement doesn't work. I've contacted customer services and they did some tests which was showing they had the same problem at their end and they would be looking into it because there was a number of people with the same problem. So I'm wondering if anyone on here has the same problem and whether this is a faulty item. Its as if you can't increase volume in the center channel. Is there anyway to force this. Night mode works OK.

Getting really frustrated as a seasoned Sonos owner. I have an brand new LG G3 with an Arc hooked up to eArc along with a Sub 3rd. No rears yet. I have a Apple TV 4K as well as a PS5 hooked up. I have gone through the setting recommendations and reset posted by GuitarSuperstar (thank you btw) multiple times and I cannot keep Dolby Atmos to stay, it keeps saying LPCM 7.1 and the sound is awful. Have to continually turn it almost all the way up and it sounds like crap. Can someone please help me get it so it sticks and actually works.

Recently I have noticed the volume drop on my Arc setup. It is for a few seconds only and the sound drops to barely audible (it does not cut out completely)In the last few weeks it has become increasingly more frequent in occurence. It happens either when the input is just regular TV or from a HDMI input from a n AppleTVlocal button control is disabledI dumped a diagnostic event once it happened this evening : 2071955409 Any help would be appreciated

What will be the Best EQ setting for Sonos 7.2.4 system ( Version 16.0 ). Default setting is flat on treble, trying to get better balance between TREBLE and BASS. Current EQ :Bass : -1Treble : +4Loudness : ONTrueplay : ONSub : +1Surround : 0Height : +4Volume Limit : OFFNight Sound : OFFSpeech Enhancement : OFF With above setting DOBLY ATMOS content sounds ok but everything else is not good.  

Can someone tell me why the Sonos Arc  deactivates the templink on LG TVs when plugged into the HDMI Arc, as long as this happens bluetooth is not enabled on the LG TV??  If I use another brand center speaker using the HDMI Arc on the television I do not have this problem???? 

I have an LG C2 OLED TV, capable of both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. I have a Sonos system connected through eARC composed of an Arc Soundbar, current gen Sub, and 2 Era 300s set up as surrounds. What I believe to be the relevant settings for my TV regarding sound are Digital Sound Output set to Pass Through, HDMI Input Audio Format set to Bitstream, and eARC Support enabled. My HDMI eARC port is HDMI 2, I have a Fire Cube Gen 3 in HDMI 3 and a PS5 in HDMI 1, but I believe the functionality of the different ports is the same, except for the eARC port, of course. I have also tested the Fire Cube in HDMI 1, and the same behavior described below occurs. On the Fire Cube, when performing the Audio and Video Diagnostic function, which displays information about the TV’s capabilities, Audio Capabilities show a “Yes” for MAT, Atmos, DD+, DD, and PCM Audio. Display Capabilities show “Yes” for Dolby Vision as well. My audio setting on the Fire Cube for Surround Sound is “Best Available,” with

I have (3) Sonos one speakers, (1) Sonos Play:1, and a Sonos Beam in my basement where we mainly watch our movies. For reference the basement is 30’x35’. I used to only have the (2) Sonos one speakers and had them set up as surround for the beam with them in the back corners of the room. I recently acquired the other Sonos one and Play:1 speakers from my father and trying to figure the best way to configure the setup for optimal sound. If I cannot setup the play:1 as a stereo pair with the other one I received from my father (for free) should I ditch it and go purchase another Sonos one for optimal sound setup? Really wanting an immersed surround sound for movies and watching sporting events. Thanks.

I have a Samsung TV connected to a Sonos Arc over HDMI arc connection.  When I pause the TV and then resume playing the volume drops to a low setting and I need to turn it back up each time. Anyone experience this issue and if it's a Sonos or Samsung issue? 

Hey there I am hoping this thread picks up a fix but having read so many others I’m not sure.Firstly I have read similar threads to my issue but feels that its worth posting to see if this is a different issue.I have just bought a LG OLED65C34LA and connected it to my 4yr old Sonos ARC, configured the sound to run bitstream, pass through and it works fine when not Atmos, but when Atmos the sound isn't stable, I get a drop every few seconds.The issue is on native tv apps (Netflx, apple TV) and also when I connect my apple TV 3rd gen to the TV where its different with Apple is there is sound until I play Atmos content and then nothing.  Sky is similar with Atmos audio very unstable.I have upgraded all HDMI Cables, I have reset and rebooted countless times on all devices. all software is up to date with LG releasing an update this week that has not resolved the issue.  Also connected devices at different stages to see if the order and pace is a factor and it isn't.So any thoughts?  I am p

Hi,Just picked up an Arc. When I’m using certain apps (ex. YouTube) the audio is great, sounds amazing.  Other apps (Netflix and my cable box) are a lot more muffled. I noticed that it will switch me to “Dolby Channel PCM 5.1” and that is usually when the sound quality will go down.  The Netflix and YouTube apps are both built in apps that sound totally different. I’ve tried multiple videos on both and get the same results across the board.  Everything is up to date.I’ve tried every combination of eARC and pass through.I’ve got voice enhancement on. I’ve run multiple trueplay through multiple phones. 

I am considering adding a Sonos Arc under my tv. The tv is above a fireplace so there is no option for placing it on top of a media unit and also because of the fireplace, no option of running wires through the wall. I am not thrilled about the appearance of the power cord and HDMI running from the arc to the tv above, so I am considering mounting the arc to the tv and having the arc sit directly under the tv. I see sonos sells the following: https://www.sonos.com/en/shop/sanus-tv-mount-arc, but sonos also says the arc should be 4 inches below the tv.Is mounting the arc directly under the tv (with no or little gap) a feasible solution to my problem of not wanting to see these wires, or will I really be sacrificing on sound performance?Are there other solutions others have explored? Hello - New user here trying to use Sonos as my Home Theatre Sound with current built in speakers. I have wired 5.1 speakers that go to utility room. I have a receiver that is wired to the speakers that I want to use for sound but no sources to the TV from the utility room.  Can I use Port to stream sound via Airplay 2, cast the video to the TV via Airplay, choose the Port as sound source, use the built in speakers as the audio? Or what would be the best way to get sound and video to setup knowing that TV is not wired to any location and sound is pre-wired to ceiling speakers via audio receiver.  Thanks 

Hi guys.My setup is:Hisense e7kqapple tv 4k Sonos beam 2 +sub mini.my problem is when I play Dolby atmos content there is a huge delay. First the delay is between when I play the movie and the actual sound is playing and then there’s a sync issues.is there any fix to this?

Hi Sonos Community,Having issues using the LG G1 and the Sonos Arc when I want to use Bluetooth headphones on the TV. Maye one of you have some insights?So I’ve done quite a bit of research and nothing I do in the settings of either the ARC or the G1 fixes the issue. I have seen and read through the entire thread in the other channel but thought it worthwhile starting a new channel in the Troubleshooting section. I have reached out to Sonos via LiveChat and they advised that this is known. I have logged a support case with LG as well. Trying to set the G1 to use a pair of wireless headphones using Bluetooth whilst the ARC is connected using eARC.The ARC keeps forcing the audio out connection back to itself. The Bluetooth connection to the headphones disconnects after about 1-2 seconds when it reverts back to the Sonos Arc as the audio output device.I understand that this is how HMDI-CEC is meant to work but have tried everything to stop this behaviour, even setting the TV to optical ou

Hi alli purchased two Christmas presents for my self, a Samsung S90CA 55” OLED tv and Sonos Beam Gen 2. I went with products without hesition as I already own these manufacturers and have done so for many years.The tv is fantastic as is the Sonos “BUT” like so many people I have an issue with keeping connection between the two. Ii have I have followed both the instructions and read the forums. I have tried the original and expensive hdmi leads and tried only having the beam connected. I have run diagnostics checks from both sides. When the fault is apparent the Sonos app tells me the hdmi is not connected.Everything works brilliantly, the Sonos app remote, the Samsung app remote both doing what they should, being able to switch between streaming music and the switching back to the tv via my phone all works great “UNTIL” I turn the tv off for the night, the next day I turn the tv on and the sound bar won’t work with the tv until I pull the power lead from the back and plug it back in, s

Im having an issue with my Beam and Sonos One surrounds.  The surrounds don’t omit any sound or are very quiet when watching the TV.  I’ve adjusted the TV volume in the setting to a max of 15 but that doesn’t seem to impact it. They are around 3m away from each other and Beam I’ve unplugged, left for 10mins and then they work for a few mins then just drop out and go quiet ive tried Truplay but that doesn’t workreally annoying as I know the signal works as when music is on, it’s fine.

Hello, I have a question about starting my home theater.I currently have an LG UQ8050 TV, it has HDMI EARC, I also have an Apple TV 4K 2022.I want to buy a Sonos Beam Gen 2, or a Sonos ARC.Will I be able to enjoy Dolby Atmos? I understand that it would work because I have the EARC port on the TV.I hope for your help...Thank you!
