Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I used to think that the desktop version of the Sonos app was not very exciting and could use some work.But since this new app disaster I have come to cherish it and I kiss the feet of the engineers who decided not to do much to it.A case in point: I used to add web-based radio stations using the "manage"drop-down menu and those stations would be added to the My Radio Station section of TuneIn and could then be added to Sonos Favorites.Comes the new Android and IOS versions of the app and TuneIn is gone to be replaced by TuneIn (new) and that does not have a My radio Station section.But guess what … the desktop version (at least the Apple version)  still lets you add the old TuneIn service ...the one with the "My Radio Stations"section.You can use the service from the desktop app, but those stations are greyed out and cannot be played on the Android and IOS versions.Had it not been for the desktop version I would have seriously considered throwing the whole thing out of the window...

I just change my router and im not able to connect  my systèm anymore !!!!I put 2.4 ghz I did everything Thatcher sonos ask me I cant see my systèm Thanks

We have a pair of Sonos Era 100 speakers in stereo, all working ok. I updated the Sonos App today and for some reason the neon lights on the speakers are now permanently on. The previous app had a way to turn them off. I can’t find it on the new app. Any idea where it is now, or is there another way to turn the lights off. Any advice appreciated.

It does not matter what streaming service I utilize.  A picture is worth 1000 words, and this is an illustration of a  completely useless app! 

I have audio problems, I have the "Sonos arc" with 2 surround "era 100" but during the playback of the rear speakers the audio is cut off as if it had interference, something that with the previous "one" did not happen to me, it is worth mentioning that the "era" are new. The problem is the interaction between the "arc" and the "era" since if he ungrouped them I don't have a problem, does anyone know what it can be?

Trying to add a new speaker to an existing Sonos system doesn’t work with the new Sonos controller on iOS.There is a way to workaround this.Firstly, in the controller try to add the new speaker as usual.  You will get so far and the app will keep crashing.   You’re probably getting an error like this: Secondly, you need to go into the controller app and choose to transfer ownership of the system (settings/manage/transfer system ownership), putting in your account as both old and new owners. All speakers including the one that you tried to add unsuccessfully will now transfer to your account and work perfectly. 

Hi all, I had a stereo pair of Play:1 speakers in my living room and I have since reset them and removed from the living room. When I first removed them, I removed them as a stereo pair and then the app put them as stand-alone speakers in the living room and that they were not online. Question is, will that eventually go away? I can't see how to remove them totally from the app. I have the latest version of the app. I had also reset them to factory by using the hold pause-play button till it goes green...

What is going on Sonos. After trueplay was so buggy that you couldn’t get past the „continue“ button in the setup it completely disappeared this morning in the app.  also: why is the eq still not working? I’m living in small flat and my Sonos fives bass is annoying af.  any fixes? Yes, I’ve restarted the app/phone/speaker. 

Hi! I am currently trying to install my Sonos Era 100.After following all the steps given in the Sonos App, I still can’t seem to set them up. After typing in the WiFi password, the notice: “Era 100 has been added, but may not be displayed in your system,…“ appears.  The WiFi is working just fine and the Speakers are completely new. Can anyone imagine what the problem is and how exactly I can fix this?

When will the Alphabeat be back in my library, so I don’t have to scrolle all the way down. I have 500 artists

I have been reading all the messages about access to computer music libraries and nothing seems to be happening.  Sonos say they have updates to cure it but I still can't get my music library to show.  Very frustrating and I feel cheated by Sonos.  This can't be right.   Selling a product then changing how it can be used.  Supposed to be sorted in July August but it is September tomorrow and mine is still not working.  It used to be a really good system.  Error 913.   So frustrating.   Great improvement.  I hope they don't improve it anymore.

The web app does not update if change is made to whats playing, the pause/play button is a white square!  WEB app missing a lot functions, Music Library is not useful any longerDoes not match IOS choices.

I have returned after a few months away, update the songs app but now it will not play Apple Music or Bandcamp .. it plays songs radio. I have tried resetting the app and the speaker 

Hi all,I’m looking for some advice please.I’ve been using a Zyxel 310S NAS drive which has all my old CD’s saved on. This used to work brilliantly until the Sonos app was updated. I’ve been doing some reading and understand that the NAS is not compatible with SMB v2 or v3 and that it can’t be configured due to it’s age (6years old).I’m guessing that I need to buy a new NAS and transfer everything over. Can anyone recommend a solution that isn’t too expensive.Thanks very much.ps...I’m not overly techy, so please explain in layman’s terms :)

Sub mini is not connecting, the app see it and the modem too but doesn’t connect to the ray bar and neither the eras speakers , how do I reset the sub? 

When listening to Spotify playlists, the same song plays over and over, even in the shuffle mode

Hi Community, What’s the current preferred way to connect a hi-fi with Sonos to use it as a player?  Ideally with digital audio, not line out from the Sonos device - I’d prefer the Denon AVC’s DAC to do the work. Is that Port now?  Sonos’s description of Port confused me - seems to be intended to broadcast a line out signal to Sonos speakers, which is the opposite. If it is Port, is there any advantage of Port over a second-hand Connect Gen 2? Thanks!

Hi, just seeking clarification or possibly a vague diagnosis based on not much information.  I have several One SLs, 1 Beam gen 2, one Move, one Era 100 and one Era 300. About 12 hours ago I was listening to music perfectly fine and all speakers were connected to the system. Now, the app is only showing the Eras and the Move, no One SLs or the Beam Gen 2. I have a vague understanding of the fact that the Eras don’t support SonosNet and are slightly different from the rest of the speakers I have. I just can’t understand why the other speakers aren’t showing up in the app. The Beam Gen 2 is wired into the wall by Ethernet cable and the rest are, I assume, connected to its SonosNet. When going to update the Network on each device, the app discovers all speakers except the Beam. Talking to support, they just recommend turning them all off and on again or resetting them, which I’m not going to do as I assume there has to be a network issue just based on the fact that the Eras appear as norm

HelloI am using Apple Music and I am quite sure that when I use Sonos app to listen to my Apple Music, my play count in Apple Music Data is not updating.That’s really a big problem because then, Apple Music won’t be ever able to give me recommandations based on my listening history.When I go to Apple Music app, the music I listened to shows in the recently played. But if I dig further, using a third app (like Marvis Pro) or a shortcut to show me Apple Music play count, I can see it’s not taken into account.I tried with one song in particular to play it only through Sonos app. During the last 4 days, I played it 10 times. The play count is still 0.Have you made the same observation ? 

Hi - I have a Sonos connect that has worked for years - upon the release of the new app, it’s stopped working. I’ve reset it multiple times, and created a new Sonos network multiple times and re added all the speakers in the house, they are working fine, and are over wifi. The connect is using Ethernet. When adding it to the new network via the new app it said it updated the connect - but it still doesn’t work. Please advise, thank you! 

Since the new Sonos was rolled out, I can no longer connect to my Sonos system from my Tidal app. It used to work flawless with the old Sonos app. Does anyone know how to fix this?.

The speakers won’t consistently play in a group - never an issue before - this is an app issue. The app won’t recognise any music in the speaker section. Have to totally shut down the app and the phone and have a hard reboot to have any chance however slim of it working.  I will not be purchasing any more Sonos products until the App is properly working. 

I have an existing Sonos Arc connected to TV with Hdmi cable, it working, now both a pair of Sonos Era 100 , want to them as two rear speakers, they are not pairing up as one unique system 

I recently purchased a Sonos Era 100 from Amazon and initially set it up while connected to my VPN, which was set to Russia. I discovered that Spotify isn't compatible with Sonos in Russia, which might be causing my issues. I live in Canada. I've changed my location on the web and reset the speaker, but I still can't connect Spotify directly through the Sonos app or the Spotify app. Currently, the only way I can use Spotify is via AirPlay and Bluetooth. Any advice on fixing this would be greatly appreciated

Well that was a shock, an old alarm that was deleted is back on the app, active and blasting a song through the home. By the time I had figured out what was happening and realised that I couldn't cancel the alarm my only action was to unplug each speaker. Unplugging may have been harsh but at 0415hrs I just needed prompt action. Any suggestions on what I can do to avoid this happening again?
