I have 5 Connect Amps, all compatible with S2 app. Unfortunately S2 app sucks, especially for My Music Library. I would like to use the S1 app for My Music, and the S2 for streaming over the same 5 amps. Is this possible?

So, essentially, no. The effort involved between switching would be considerable, and last time I checked (it’s been a while), you needed to have an S1 device set up to add/downgrade the others to, which means at least one S1 device that never ‘moves’ to S2.

Yes but you’d have to switch between S1 and S2 each time you wanted to change. Not something that most folks would consider given the time and effort needed.

I missed/forgot the need to have an S1 device available to initiate the downgrade.
I don’t ever do this, but I ‘think’ it’s still a requirement. Perhaps someone with greater knowledge with the process these days will chime in.
