Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Does anyone know how to access ABC Lounge Radio (from Paris) on Sonos in the UK? I used to be able to access it via MyTunerRadio but that stopped when the new Sonos app was introduced. Thanks

Hallo, I have a problem, my speaker Sonos playbase makes a short repetitive beeping sound. I can't find on the internet what this means.The speaker is also not found by the app. Holding the connection button did not give any results.Hope somebody familiar with this problem and can help  

I can't play lists with more than 100 songs, after 100 I get an error when trying to play a song.

The speaker cuts out every so often for 5seconds or so. 

I have a a sonos system for more than ten years but I recently had an odd experience. Twice on coming home from holiday the system had been switched on in my absence. On the first occasion I thought that I had just been careless and not turned it off properly.  On the second ocasion I made sure it was off but when I came back it was on, tuned to a radio station that I never knew existed.  What is going on?

My iMac was upgraded to Sequoia 15.0.1 recently. Since then, I cannot find a Sonos app that is compatible. I used to be able to use a Sonos controller on my iMac which was very handy. What should I do?

I noticed that at some point it has started to request an IPv6 address via DHCPv6, but it’s doing so with an invalid non-unique DUID (DHCP Unique Identifier).The DUID it’s using is (in hex): 00030001000000000000Decoded, that is a DUID “type 3” (DUID based on link-layer address), with the address type set to Ethernet… but where it should contain the Ethernet MAC address, instead the DUID is set to all zeros.I expect that this non-unique ID might cause problems if someone has multiple Sonos devices in a network with DHCPv6 enabled, although the exact result depends on what DHCP server is in use.For reference, my speaker is currently running the Sonos OS S2, Version 80.1-56190. It is connected via Ethernet cable (WiFi is disabled).

Installed S1 App: Since my devices are older, I installed the Sonos S1 app. It indicated that they have S2 software, making them incompatible with the S1 app. This also proves the devices are discoverable! Network Check: I’ve checked my LAN, and everything seems to be functioning well and discoverable, and there have been no router/lan/wan changes.  Reinstalled S2 App: I deleted and reinstalled the latest version of the S2 app on my phone and checked the network is discoverable by the app.Despite all these efforts, I’m still unable to locate the devices.Has anyone else experienc

Hello & apologies if this issue has been covered previously - I searched as best I could & was not able to find anything similar or helpful ...My music collection is stored (mostly in flac format) on a Synology NAS - My current problem relates to folders & sub folders - I will use a recent upload to try & explain …I bought a CD Boxset which has 4x CDs - I created a folder with 4x sub-folders (CD1 CD2 CD3 CD4) in flac format to transfer to my NAS - Each sub-folder had the tracks listed in numerical order 01 Track Name 02 Track Name etc - I copied the folder to my NAS using my Windows laptop & then using the Sonos Windows App ran “Update Music Library Now” - The folder I had copied then displayed with the others from the Artist in question - However, instead of 4x sub-folders below the main folder all the tracks (& no sub-folders) appeared in the main folder? - They were listed numerically as 01 Track Name (from CD1) 01 Track Name (from CD2) 01 Track Name (from CD

Why isn’t Sonos picking up my paid streaming services?

I have four speakers on a system - lately the one I use the most has regularly been missing from the system - showing in the app but not connecting, then connecting, then hilariously playing the radio when showing as not connected.Eventually driven mad by it today I factory reset it after 6 attempted reboots and trying to add it back to the system. All went well until I got the message “Your One SL has been added but may not appear in the your system. If so unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish set up from System Settings.”I did this, and surprise surprise, it didn’t work. I am so infuriated by this. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks. I cannot believe how badly Sonos have managed to mangle their product and reputation. It is just awful and I really regret the money spent on it.

Just after I updated my iphone 15 pro max to iOS 18.0.1 the Sonos app chrases when opening it. Is this happening to everyone or just me? Solution?

Hi. I’m using the latest ATV which is connected to Hisense U7KAU via hdmi. The tv is connected via the earc port to a Sonos Beam gen1. The Beam, along with a mini sub and era100 speakers are used for surround sound. ATV sound is set to DD5.1 and TV is set to passthrough audio.  While watching a show via the ATV, the sound will suddenly go weird for 5-10 seconds. I can still make out what’s being said on the show during this period, but clearly having a moment. The sound comes right again after the 5-10 seconds and the show continues. Also, and this is by far the biggest and most regular issue - turning the tv/ATV on or starting a show on any of the streaming apps on ATV, the tv will suddenly show ‘white ants’ (also known as ‘white noise’ or ‘black and white static’). This doesn’t happen every single time I watch tv, only about 30-40% of the time.The only way to get things back to normal is to power cycle the ATV, TV and Sonos, all at the same time.. I’ve reached out to Apple and they d

It takes several attempts to “change the station” in Sonos app/TuneIn.  The icons and GUI update to the newly selected station, but the actual audio is the previous station.  It only started a couple of months ago, so it’s likely related to a bug in the software update.  This topic was created previously - but the discussion was “closed” without any resolution.  Did I miss something?  Is there a solution for this bug?Previous discussion now closed:  

A few weeks ago, I could’ve sworn that Era 100s were £199. In fact, I’m positive they were.I was just about to pull the trigger, but they are now £249 (or £498 / £448 for two). So, does anyone know: Were they on discount before? Are they likely to go back down at any point?

I, like every other Sonos user, lost access to my beloved local music library curated from my personal “hard copy” musical collection and playlists when the new app was released.  However, I was a lot better of that most because I had an old iPad with the “old” S2 app which was still able to play from my library.  Every time it offered to update I refused point blank for that very reason.Today however it appears that a device update has rendered the old app useless because it is now no longer able to control my Sonos speakers.  I consider this an almost underhand and sneaky way to “force” me to use an app which no longer serves the purpose I originally intended it for and renders my expensive speakers a lot less attractive than they were.A fix for this was hinted at being available “mid June” but still no sign. PLEASE, PLEASE, when will this be fixed?  And if the answer really is never, please come clean so I can attempt to offload my speakers on to someone who doesn’t need it want the

My Roam for no reason just stopped working.   I have screwed with it for hours and finally just reset everything back to factory.It still does not work.  I listens and says it is playing music but it does not.   I have never had so much trouble in years with a piece of electronics. (not the first trouble with this).I may just keep taking them back to Costco instead of trying to make them work.I have found that just leaving it for a few days magically makes it work but not this time.  Sonos has problems.

I suddenly can’t play my playlists I created on Amazon music. I get requested operation failed. I unplugged all devices. I logged out of Amazon. Still doesn’t work. I see posts about this from 2 years ago but no real solution. HELP! Thank you

I have beam gen2 with surrounds etc and apple tv 4k. Up until a day or 2 ago (suspicious of the latest sonos app update from a few days ago) if i have a netflix or disney+ content that is just 5.1 and if my apple tv set to dolby atmos - i used to get on my  sonos app multichannel 5.1 and i didnt like that because the dialogue was almost always a bit more quiet like this. So i always went to setting and switched to dolby digital 5.1 in apple tv audio aettings and i was getting 5.1 on sonos app.if i do the same now - i get stereo pcm. I am so confused. Am i missing something - anyone else having the same issue ?
