Can I reduce the bass on the play bar when watching tv?

I've searched high and low and can't seem to find any information on driver impedance anyone have a clue?

a few weeks ago my sonos library started giving me multiples copies of some albums. I think even though all my albums are in different folders and have consistent “album artist” is it now giving me an entire different albume for each song artist! This makes compilation albums completely unusable. It’s not the controller, as this is consistent with ios, win11 and Sonopad controllers. Check out this image!  

I am trying to play Podcasts from from Spotify but you can't search on them and I tried creating a play list of podcasts and you can see the play list in Sonos, but not play it.

Hello I have a Samsung Q90T and a Sonos sound system (Arc, 2x Era100 and Sub Gen 3).  Sometimes the Sonos sound system won’t play any sound coming from the TV. Even though the Sonos app says the TV is connected, the TV says it is connected, and the led on the Arc blinks when I’m trying to increase volume on the Samsung remote.  Previously when I’ve had this problem, I could fix it by turning everything off, and unplugging the arc, my Apple TV and Xbox series x, then turning tv and arc back on, and setting up the tv in the Sonos app again, and plugging in the arc when the app says so. Then it would work again, and I could plug in my Apple TV and Xbox series x afterwards.  When it happened today, my previous fix did nothing. I tried resetting both my tv and arc to factory settings, but still didn’t work.  The problem occurs when the tv is trying to play any content - when it is only the menu, I can hear the menu sounds

Skipping while playing from Music Library has persisted for years & often angered me. For me the fix was finally simple: ethernet cable from desktop (hosting library) to Sonos device.HDD, SSD or USB attached to router with cable to Sonos would work as well.Hosting your library on a wirelessly connected device (e.g. laptop) is likely to be unstable.

I saw post on here from a year ago but that topics closed now where someone described a metallic sound whilst viewing 5.1 dolby content that cleared when forcing to pcm instead but the pcm upset the balance. I just wanted to say that I too have noticed some issues when the Ray connected via optical to my Sony TV with 5.1 content that I suspect might be the same issue.  I would describe the problem is, that for some reason the surround channels are being mixed to mono through the Ray and are very slightly out of phase with each other, thus creating this awkward flanger type sound when mixed together. I’m reasonably confident (but not 100%) its just the non-stereo surround channels causing this, so its most noticeable on background/fx type sounds.The normal stereo component seems ok (not that you can really sense stereo on the Ray, god knows why they thought it was a good idea to place the tweeters so close together!!) Kinda have a love/hate relation

I’m running an 18 or 19 yr-old setup, still using the old white ZP80 controllers to connect to my amplifier and speakers etc. I’m using version 11.15 of the app, SonosOS S1 - I managed to avoid taking the troublesome upgrade that has caused all these issues.  (Although I think if I am using SMB2 to connect to my NAS, which I am, some library issues will be minimized).But now I want to add some new music and the "Update Music Index Now" is grayed out, with a message saying that I need to upgrade the system before updating will work.I’m going to wait overnight to see if my old 2:00 a.m. scheduled update is still working, but for now has anyone else seen this?

Hello! i have two the sonos era 100 and i can succesfully connect to one on the app and my phone but for what is the second era 100 i can connect to my phone but not the app.. also when it is connected to my phone no sound from the phone is coming out but you can hear the original noises from the speaker does anyone have any ideas?

I have many speakers through the house, about 7. I really enjoy the sound and have for years and i tell others to get the system.  But Why do speakers drop out of wifi and become hard to load back un. Can you make auto reconnect easier?     Using fios mesh, setup a specific guest wifi for sonos, yet most speakers drop off, and others continue to work. I reboot when I can. 

Brand new Sonos AMP. Hardwired by ethernet.   System audio speakers and active hub. Speakers have been working flawlessly for 5-10y.  Playing either Spotify / Line In / Arc in, and amp shuts off after some minutes, red LED blinking.  The SUB-output continues to play, so it’s not a network/streaming issue. Trippled checed speaker wiring. Checked speakers with multimeter and they both read 4.1-4.2 Ohm. 

Hi, yesterday I purchased arc ultra and after 9 years switched from playbar. Till yesterday I had no issues streaming music via airplay. Since yesterday I tried everything to make it work and nothing helps … Few details : My setup : One and One SL as surround, SUB ( probably gen 1), sonos arc ultra. With TV everything works great, through sonos app I am able to stream the music ( even by Apple Music or Spotify app - only if I use it by Sonos App) I tried to reset the whole setup. Tried to reset the app, erased the app and installed again, erased apple music and spotify, and installed again I restored again everything to factory setting and build the system from scratch. Nothing helps.  On wireless connection everything work flawless, only when I put the Ethernet cable it the arc ultra stops connecting by airplayI haven’t tried disconnecting the system and checking each of the components separately, but what’s the

I have a Ubiquity Unifi network with a separate VLAN for my Sonos speakers. They all work perfectly fine (set on SonosNet) + a Roam on WiFi, except for the Era 100 (which is connected to ethernet with the Sonos Combo Adapter). I am unable to connect any device via AirPlay. When I move the Era back into LAN (same VLAN as other devices) it works instantly.

Sometimes when the TV is NOT on, there will be a couple of seconds of audio coming from the Arc.  It happens every few days.  Any ideas?Inputs to the TV are:  Cable box;  Roku Streaming box; & Oppo BluRay player.Note:  The cable box and the Roku do not have shutdown capability via the remotes, so they usually remain powered up. 

Using my Samsung phone I connect with sonos and select Music Library. When I select songs to play a specific song sonos plays the first song in the last playlist I played. How do I exit from the previously selected playlist? 

I noticed on my Sonos  home theater (arc ultra, 300s, sub4) all LEDs keep running even product is in low power or idle mode. Sonos should roll out a feature to turn off all LEDs when they are in standby or use a diff color. There is no way for us to know that products are in low power mode.  thanks!  

I bought a pi zero 2 w and installed samba.  I put my music in the music folder on the SD card with the OS.  The pi zero has a static ip and the smb.conf file has ntlm=yes in the global section.  Sonos accepts the music share but all of the folders are empty (i.e. songs, artists, genres, etc).  Can someone help resolve this?  I have a Sonos one, a move, a beam and a play 1.  They all play nice with the Sonos app but the app doesn't display the music.

This topic falls somewhere between a conversation and a question. When there is need for a multi-solution sound system with limited funds Sonos might not be the optimal choice, but with what I assume to be simple means it could be a better choice. Speaking from personal experience: I’ve previously bought 2 Era 100s and use them as TV-speakers awaiting an upgrade on the Arc to later use them as surrounds. Meanwhile I own a turntable which I’m looking to hook up to the same system (disclaimer; I am well aware that it’s sub-optimal and that there are better ways to enjoy your vinyls, though for the sake of convinience, this would be my personal preference).It is common knowledge that when the era 100s, or 300s for that matter, loses its capability to use the line-in function when used as surround speakers. I have looked at the various answers in the forum and none resolve the inability to amend alarm times or set new ones. I will need a new system as I need an alarm and am realising SONOS has lost the art of innovation. 

I connected my TV ( Philips ) to my Sonos Play Bar and Sub, works fine, but when I ad one or two extra Play ones the signal for these extra speakers is very unstable ! Somebody any tips !? 

I don’t know if I have a TV settings problem, Roku settings problem or Sonos setting problemI have an LG 65” Class C3 Series OLEDI have my Arc Ultra cabled up to the eARC port on the TV (With a new HDMI cable)My 2 HDMI devices are an NVIDIA Shield and a Roku Ultra (2024) (Both with new HDMI cables)Anytime i shut off the TV when it is on the NVIDIA Shield input and return later (the time away seems to need to be about 20+ minutes), I turn on the TV, and the Shield is displayed just fine, but when I switch the TV input to the Roku, I’ll see the Roku Screen Saver screen for a second, and then the TV shuts off.  When I turn the TV back on everything works fine.  The TV does not shut off while I am actively using it.  I can switch between Shield and Roku just fine.  Only happens when the TV has been off for some time.I’ve checked for any sleep settings on the Roku and turned them off, no sleep settings on the TV, not sure if there is anythin

My Sono app will not connect to my Android phone or my new ipad but it will connect to my wife's iPhone and her older ipad and I don't know why

I have read so many complaints on the😑ir sw.  Hopefully they addressed the iPhone won’t connect easy to WiFi , if you system is growing becomes. Almost impossible to install at all.  Really whaling to see this one and purchase a system where engineers can solve their Sonos Issues which plague the valulue of money is lessened Sonos is destined to go the way of the cassette player
