Well?
I live in Ireland and Sonos has kindly offered me a 25% discount off their products. However, it seems to be only for America when you go to pay. Why are they doing a general email to everyone registered with them when it is only for America? Not good PR again.
is it possible to return a Sonos product when it no longer works (outside of warranty) for recycling?
Now that the CEO is gone and that SONOS can’t really hit the bottom more I think it is time for SONOS to start prioritizing stuff that matter to their customers:1- Add DTS HD Support, even if it’s a one time paid-license. The ARC Ultra or ERA300 are more than capable of decoding this. Lots of films are using this format2- Be able to add front-surround speakers. The ARC Ultra is nice but of your lounge/TV room is super large, then it’s notideal3- Re-add local mode. Now everything goes through internet. What happens if SONOS servers are off? What else do you miss/need on your system?

I ordered a black Arc Ultra from one of your suppliers in Portugal in November last year and I'm still waiting. Supplier blames lack of deliveries to Portugal. They have white but not black. What's the problem?
I’ve logged into my account, navigated to Upgrade and selected 2 items that are eligible for the upgrade offer of 15%. However when trying to add anything to my cart, it tells me there is a problem.I logout from my account and I can add any item I wish to my account, but I lose the 15% upgrade offer and I can’t see of a way to remove the items. So at the moment under my account I can’t purchase anything.
Hi, I had an issue with my Sonos ERA 100, the device is 9 months old, so Sonos agreed to replace - I was sent a RMA / postage label, and sent item off to Poland. The item arrived at Poland warehouse 9 days ago as per the UPS tracking, but I haven’t received any email from Sonos to advise item has arrived or when a replacement device will be sent out. I have phoned Sonos support to request an update but am just told to wait a few days longer - but it’s been nearly 3 weeks since this process started so really missing my Sonos. Is this experience normal, and how long do people typically wait from faulty item being delivered to Poland warehouse to when a replacement device was received? Thank you in advance.
Last 26th of January I bought a Sonos Roam 2. I have my house full of Sonos devices, have always encouraged other people to be brave, pay extra money and have a Sonos system, but my recent experience could not be worse.I am not buying any more Sonos devices, and I am definitely not encouraging anybody to do so.It was supposed to be a gift, a quite good gift. I gave it to my friend and the device did not work properly. After a bit of embarrasement I said, never mind, let me contact Sonos and have it replaced. My experience with the online shop was so awful , did a mistake with the color (black instead of white), was imposible to modify it ,online, that I did bought one through Amazon (without any stress at all).Anyway, the 4th of February I asked the item to be retuned because it did not work properly, thankfully did a screen-shot of it… and my nightmare started…The message clearly say that in 48-72 hours I would receive a email with instructions about how to proceed with the return.Afte
Doesn’t seem to be available for me in UK 🇬🇧 but only if I switch to USA? Strange

I wanted to share my deeply frustrating experience with Sonos in the hope that others are aware of the declining product quality and customer service. On January 9, 2025, I purchased a refurbished Sonos Amp directly from sonos.com. As a long-time Sonos customer, I was initially pleased with the fast delivery and easy setup. However, within hours, issues began:The Amp glitched with a digital loop (like a stuck CD), requiring a factory reset. An hour later, it blasted a loud squeal at full volume, forcing me to pull the power plug.Concerned, I immediately contacted Sonos support to request a replacement, but instead of offering one, they asked me to reset and retest the faulty unit—a risk I wasn’t willing to take with my speakers. After a week of back-and-forth, Sonos finally agreed to a replacement, but their merchant payment system failed, preventing me from using their advanced exchange service. After another week, I reluctantly agreed to a standard return, which then got stuck at cust
I didn’t think it was possible but yes, this latest app update is actually worse than the previous version. My connection is unstable and songs keep dropping after 30-60 seconds. I have tried limiting my speaker selection to only 1, (I have Play 3, Two Sonos Ones and Arc) yet to no avail. Before the update I had set reserved IP addresses for all my speakers which *helped* the connection/dropping issue but now I’m back to mid July era issues. UGH!! If anyone has a tip or two for my problem, please share.
Does anyone know how much Patrick Spence’s severance package was worth after he stepped down?
A week or so ago I noticed that my Version 11.15 S1 system has an update available. I figure enough time has now gone by to see if the update breaks anything (because SONOS). Are there any comments from anyone who installed the update (or – braver than I – let it auto-install)?
That’s it. I’ve wrestled with temperamental software and hardware from Sonos. It is constantly requiring resets and reauthorisations and now the WiFi has packed up. It really isn’t worth the hassle. Their system is too flaky so I’m finally changing to something more reliable. Thanks to the community for help in the past.
Sonos suppprt sucks! $30k on a system that doesn’t work!!!!!!
I would like to suggest that Sonos create a utility that can be run from web/app/etc that checks the ports and URLs of the services it provides for connectivity. It appears that many of the issues I have experienced (and maybe others?) are due to connectivity to certain services. I have spent hours on the phone with support only to find (on my own) that a particular URL was not accessible.Having this utility made public and the first step to troubleshooting could alleviate many support requests and frustrations. The article below covers the majority of the URLs and ports that require whitelisting. I would also ask that this utility also addresses the “Anything else with a .sonos.com sub-domain” wildcard. https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/configure-your-firewall-to-work-with-sonos
I can understand it can be difficult to fix bugs but this is a while that my wife can’t use the app on her smartphone, that randomly i can t Connect to the streaming account, that one of the device is no more playing song and without any explanation, is getting back to work. when i see the struggle i havé in my House With sonos i don t really underground how you can Hope to sell good audio device but unusable at this price. maybe you stil think, users are milky cows…
YOU ARE UPCUTTING THE MUSIC THREE OUT OF FOUR TUNES. SHOW SOME RESPECT!
No queue no music nas after update total and utter crap Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
Ive two suggestions for product features. This is based on my experience of Arc Ultra / Era300 Surrounds.1 - Detach a Surround speaker temporarily - So into its own environment / room (so for example if having guests and need something in the kitchen occasionally). Then re-add and it rejoins in one click with previous settings (but possibly suggest a profile tune) 2- Quick EQ Presets - Where the surround levels/Bass/Treble/Vocal levels/Height Channels etc are all saved and you can switch. For example at night you may want night mode, less bass, more vocal. Day mode all up! A Sport event, maybe louder surrounds and height than a film. Both of these seem straightforward and massively overlooked. I get Sonos do multi room in relation to question 1, but its a bit overkill to purchase an extra speaker for occasional use. Likewise with the presets, its as if the kit gets tested but not real world as this seems very basic when factoring neighbours, listening environments, what gets watched e
Worst experience I have had ever. I spent just over $5000 for allmy speakers. They are no longer working. I can’t believe why or what person sold you on this idea. Obviously was not anyone that actually owns a SONOS Systemim in process of squirting a different set of speakers. You can bet your ASS it will not ne SONOS. .
I plead with Sonos engineers not to introduce any new features or products until you can bring back stability to the product. Please test it in real conditions with normal wifi coverage. I loved the product 15 years ago. I believed in it. Today, I mostly curse it.
