Future of SONOS (local mode, front surround, DTS HS...)

Now that the CEO is gone and that SONOS can’t really hit the bottom more I think it is time for SONOS to start prioritizing stuff that matter to their customers:

1- Add DTS HD Support, even if it’s a one time paid-license. The ARC Ultra or ERA300 are more than capable of decoding this. Lots of films are using this format

2- Be able to add front-surround speakers. The ARC Ultra is nice but of your lounge/TV room is super large, then it’s notideal

3- Re-add local mode. Now everything goes through internet. What happens if SONOS servers are off?

What else do you miss/need on your system?

Sonos already has #2 built in. Just need to use Sonosequencer to set it up. They could take it away, but you could use it now.

#3 Certain features require an internet connection. But Sonos does still work without an internet connection (just barely and annoyingly). You can go local only by blocking Sonos at your router.

for #2 - I don’t think sonosequencer can add 2 ERA300 as front surrounds when playing a dolby atmos movie? or maybe i’m wrong?
(when it has as well 2 ERA as rear surrounds)

Sonosequencer can add any s2 speaker as a front surround afaik.

Just to add, I didn’t post to nullify your requests, I do hope sonos officially supports front surrounds and a smoother offline mode 👍
