I’m trying to connect my Apple Music account to my Era 300 stereo speakers, and all I’m getting is a spooling circle when Authorising Apple Music account. I’ve been trying for days, I have an iphone 14pro, all software on my Sonos app and phone is up to date. My husband connect his account fine, and I connected mine on initial install, but had to do a factory reset on the speakers to set up as stereo and now all I’m getting is the wheel of doom. Can anyone help because it’s really frustrating.
Almost exactly 2 years to the day after our Sonos Roam started making the ultra loud hammering noise and diagnostics were submitted it did so again this morning - scaring the bejesus out of us. So I come here looking for solutions and find many closed complaints mentioning “horrible”, “jackhammer”, “hammering”, “blaring”, “machine gun”. Evidently this occurrence, while rare, has been happening on at least Roams and Beams for at least two years with no fix yet.I’m curious how many others have had this and has it recurred for you, yet? Do you remember - while having your ears assaulted - to find and hold down the power button for more than 10 seconds to get the damn thing to shut up? Do you consider, as I did, hurling the device as far as you can out the door in disgust?
I have (3) Sonos Connect 1st Gen Wireless amps. (2) of them are side by side right next to my router. 1 of the 2 is constantly cutting in and out and it is the only one that does this. The other 2 performs perfectly. (Also, one of those amps are connected directly to my router.) I know it’s not the streaming service that I use because it cuts out not matter what streaming service I use. It could be interference, but there isn’t anything else around my router or the amps that it could be interfering with. Please help
I have been using my Sonos system with my iPhone for a few years and it was very easy to send content via Airplay or through Home.app to my Sonos Speaker. But I recently switched to Android and now the only way to play content is via the Sonos app.How do I “cast” audio that’s playing from my Android phone to the Sonos system?
Open Sonos app on my Android Phone Navigate to and choose Music Library source Select Songs from the list of options Press Play or Shuffle Endless loading circle appears and nothing happens for at least 7 minutes, after which I stopped wasting my time waiting.Music is on my NAS, i can easily access and play specific songs, or select and play genres or my own playlists through the app. What gives? This wasn't an issue in the past. I understand the development team is attempting to fix this app but I didnt expect this functioanlity to be broken. Anyone else experiencing this? Build 80.14.06-release+20241206affe3de (by the way, brilliant UX design to not allow users to tap and copy the version numbers and other info on the About Your System screen).
Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:I have a 300 speaker and a month ago Alexa was working wonderfully but in recent weeks Alexa has not obeyed the commands I give it. For example, if I ask to play the radio, it responds but doesn't play anything... if I ask it to play a specific song on a platform, it responds but doesn't play anything... does anyone have the same problem?

Hi everyone and welcome especially @Corry P .I just want to report two low prio bugs of the Android app. (iOS everything fine)1. edit view of alarm clock settings shows am/pm instead of 24h view for DE users. 2. EQ settings of Beam2 (I don’t know if other ht devices also are affected) show a balance slider, but it has no effect. …latest android app and firmware…

My NAS music library shows properly on the latest iphone, android and Windows apps. However, when adding surround speakers (2 Sonos one) to my playbase+sub setup, the library stops showing up in the iphone and android apps. Removing the surround speakers will make them show up again, so it’s 100% replicable. This didn’t happen with the former apps. The Windows app keeps on showing the libray and working properly all the time.Haven’t seen it reported, so I thought it would be interesting to share
Anyone else noticed how slow and unresponsive the App has become today Dec 23rd 2024? Much worse than the usual sluggish performance we have become used to.android App Randomly losing connection with the playersMore than 20 seconds to pick up what’s playing and before anyone jumps in , no its not my network , these are ethernet connected devices and I have a strong Internet service 70mb/s with no competing web traffic. If prior years problems are anything to go by I am not looking forward to entertaining guests on the 25th as new users plug in their sonos gifts for the first time and try to register. Please Sonos ditch this Cloud based App solution and give us back direct control of our own equipment.
Hi guysI’ve just treat myself to a new TV and the Arc Ultra. They are in my lounge which already has ceiling speakers with amp ruuning them. When I’ve set up the Arc, it connects to the TV fine and then i add the amp as the surrounds which works but then no sound comes out of the ceiling speakers. It’s the same when i try and play music or the TV. I’ve tried all sorts and also spoke with SONOS via live chat and they have advised me i need to change my WIFI to a mesh system. Is this the only way around this issue? I have a beam and amp with ceiling speakers in my Kitchen which works fine. ThanksRob
Hi,When headtracking is enabled, the LED does’nt work.Any suggestion please?
So I had to replace my network switch as it failed. I have 4 Sonos Connect devices (one Connect Amp and 3 Connects). Historically I had one connected to the Switch and then the other 3 daisy chained via cat5 cables. All was well. Now my system “isn’t found” on the network. After trying a bunch of things I decided to hard reset each device (pressing mute/volume up button when powering on until orange light flashes and eventually solid green). I then reset my app and started from scratch with just one device at a time. However it is still unable to find my device. I can see on my Router that the Connect Amp has an IP address so know it is connected. But adding a device via the app and going through the “power on” just keeps saying no device found. Any ideas?
Bonjour, impossible de connecter l’app Sonos de mon iPhone sur mon système ! Quelqu’un a-t-il déjà eu ce problème?
I recently rebooted my system and changed to a different WiFi. now i can not downloaded the Calm App. it does not take me to my calm account to authorize. instead it takes my to the calm site and says “sign up successful “without asking for my account or password. then when i go back to the app it says no content items available. any suggestions?
I recently noticed whilst watching certain programmes that my arc ultra makes a strange metallic squeak type sound from what I believe to be the side speakers only playing certain frequencies. I watched buy now the shopping conspiracy on Netflix on my Bose soundbar in the bedroom and it sounded fine then I decided to watch it with my partner downstairs through the arc ultra and some of the background music had a strange high pitched metallic sound emanating from the side speakers. I have also noticed it on other programmes with background music or sound effects but just thought I was being paranoid. It almost sounds like some high frequency distortion. I have tried truplay enabled and without and it’s still there, connected to a Sony a80j using EARC and good quality hdmi cables. Has any one else noticed this or do I have an issue with my unit?
I have a new Sonos Amp and a SVS subwoofer hum problem that I can't diagnose.1. When the Sonos Amp is UNPLUGGED and the mains outs are unplugged and only the sub out on the Sonos Amp is connected to the SVS sub, there's a hum. The hum is louder than when the Sonos Amp is plugged into the wall.2. When I unplug the Sonos amp and turn off the sub amp, then turn on the sub amp and plug in the Sonos amp, humming starts after a few seconds—before the white light on the Sonos amp stops blinking.3. There is no hum When the sub is plugged into the receiver.4. When the sub RCA isn't plugged into anything, there is no hum.5. I've tried plugging both the Sonos amp and the sub into the same outlet. They're still humming.6. I've tried new high-end shielded cables from SVS. Still humming.7. I've tried on a different SVS sub. Still humming.8. I've tried a ground loop isolator. Still humming.8. I've tried plugging the Sonos amp into a different circuit 100' away from the sub outlet, but it's still humm
Sonos Moderators (if you’re listening):If you want to be THE CONSUMER PREFERRED SOUND/LISTENING VENDOR for Music, TV and more:Why would you: Put headphones into the marketplace that can’t simultaneously be used with Sonos Arc? Think of white space in the marketplace and build hardware and software that creates a palpable Value proposition in the TV/Music sound space? Before developing a product or software, exhaust research into the space to determine what’s missing in both Sonos’ portfolio and in the marketplace, i.e., answer this question: what does the consumer need that can’t be or is not supported by peer equipment/systems? Who’s “Looking Around the Corner” to de Foresee, envision, anticipate, common TV/Music experiences and build to the various scenarios of listening needs of the consumers that you intend to sell to? Engage, Respond To the Sonos Community and build hardware/software that allows for simultaneous deployment of the Sonos Ace and Sonos Arc (and other outputs)?
Amazon Music not working at all on any devices suddenly. Dosent appear to be an outage on Amazon as can play it on my phone, seems to be a Sonos Issue?
I have everything set up, AirPlay works perfectly, but with the TV (eARC) it doesn't work as a rear speaker. Any ideas or suggestions? Please.
I’ve tried and tried. Changed my network and my bar, sub and one Sl connected easily. My second One SL goes thru the recess but then doesn’t send the ping tone out to connect to my device … stalls the connections ive unplugged it multiplie times and let it rest to hopefully reset doesn’t help i cant find anything in the doc about this. any ideas?
Just recently bought the sonos ace - immediately it has issues with playback, where the sound will disappear in the middle of a song for a split second and come back. How do I fix this? This happens every few often and it's terribly annoying
I just saw Sonos products on the Season 1, Episode 7 of the Paramount Network series LandMan staring Billy Bob Thornton. The Sonos products shown were Sonos One, Beam and Move 2; supposedly being sold in a Michaels Arts and Crafts store similar to the one in the previous link. However, searching the Michaels website no Sonos products were listed. So was it Sonos who paid for a spot or did the show runner or prop manger for the series (who may be a Sonos user) stage the products in the Michaels store for effect. Either way Sonos gets national exposure. Then it could be a test (initialed by Sonos) to see how sales might be impacted just by flash advertising given the rumors of a Sonos streaming stick/box.The link below has info on the Paramount series LandMan if you are interested:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14186672/?ref_=ext_shr_lnkNOTE: I forgot to change the post type to Conversation as it’s not a Question.
