Moderator Note - Translation by Google and combined posts:Hello,When adding the deezer account to the sonos app, I authorize the addition and the app goes round in circles. A deezer window opens but there are no instructions that open. I search for my sonos is not displayed anywhere.I tried with Spotify and it works (but I don't have a premium account!)Thanks for the help. I'm on Android. Edit: I found it by myself. I had to prevent my phone from going to the Deezer app and staying on the browser.
Hi all!I have a Samsung UE55AU8000 television which is connected to a Sonos Ray via optical cable. This system has worked fine for the last year, but last week (I’m sure it was after performing a Sonos update) the volume buttons on the Samsung remote stopped controlling the Ray.When it first happened, it would only let me increase the volume. Then it would show the Sonos volume up and down indicators on the screen, but the volume wouldn’t change. Now, pressing the volume up and down buttons on the remote doesn’t do anything at all apart from show ‘Optical’ on the screen.i have tried the following:Remote Control Setup - this just says ‘Your TV remote is already set up. Would you like to set up another one?’ and when I try to set up another one, pressing volume up, it says ‘We didn’t detect a signal from your TV remote.’Powering off all devices at mains for a few minutes then powering back on - this didn’t fix anything. Would really appreciate any help! Thanks!
I thought Sonos Ace headphones were compatible with the Sonos system. I want to listen to my CD and phono, which are connected via ports, using the Ace headphones. Not polssible say Sonos. I can’t even listen to my Sonos music library! These headphones are worthless. I can’t believe they are not compatible my Sonos system. Disclaimers should be made by Sonos. Now I’m getting grief about returning them. Very unhappy Sonos user.
I have two era 100s as a stereo pair in one room and they sound really great. I’m wondering if I just get the same in another room or get two era 300s? Is sound quality going to be loads better or just a bit. I appreciate it could be subjective but also the price difference is a factor. For various reasons I have access to Amazon Music HD, Tidal and Spotify so will that impact the decision? Thanks in advance.
At present: I have the ultra ultimate immersive set; which includes 1. Arc ultra 1. Gen 4 sub 2. Era 300s… but I decided to give it a little bit of an upgrade and I got an +1 gen 4 sub, 2. Era 100s, and 1. Sonos boost it’s been great but for reasons I cannot fully explain I have just purchased 2 sonos amps. AND two of these. (The Martinlogan motion F2s’…. (I intend on using the two floor speakers as stereo) I am decently familiar with at least some of the requirements to get as full features as possible. But how might I proceed to try and ensure I that I proceed in the way that would provide greatest feature set? Please also note that my television has but one HDMI arc portThe intended local is my living room exclusively. Just one place with one televisionhttps://share.icloud.com/photos/0943ONX5NpaTnm-L3XT2855IQ— please understand if it is necessary to acquire another component to proceed in the way in which you think is best please do not hesitate to inform me of such— With spatial
I have two older Sonos Connect systems operated with the S2 App. One of the systems has been suffering from ten second drops in streaming music every 20 minutes or so. Our router is very close to the system, doubt that signal strength is the issue. Have tried the usual steps (unplugging etc) other than (1) factory reset and (2) updating the Connect firmware/software. The problem I am having is that while I can log into the Sonos app, when I try to log into the “system” the log in fails. I figure I need to log into the system to update it. I’m told “something went wrong try again.” I am guessing that the system was registered under my old, now inaccessible work email address even though it seems like the app itself works, I can play music etc.We had many issues with the system after the update earlier this year but most of them seem resolved. Would really like to avoid a factory reset if possible.
Can someone explain why one my system displaying horns can sound like (muffled) blown speakers are blown on various speaker types: beam and brand new 300’s?
Hello please i need some help … Please can someone tell the correct set up so i can listen to vinyl on 2 x turntables with a citronic Mk 2 mixer to sonos connect gen 1 , i have rca cables .. and have tried many different connections to mixer and amp … no sound i have sonos 1 controller and sonos app thank you .
I decided to dip my toe back into the Sonos ecosystem after using the application and product many years ago. I needed new speakers, so I ordered a pair of E100s from Best Buy. I was shocked to see access required for location, network passwords, etc. just to use the app. Needless to say, I'm returning your s***** product because this is egregious! You’re overstepping here Sonos.…Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
Hi All, may I ask you for help w/ below topic pls.?I have Sonos AMP connected to gramophone. I would like to add 1x FIVE speaker (bought already) to enjoy vinyl music. But app announced to me that pair of compatible Sonos speakers can be connect to AMP only. Do I need buy the 2nd one or some trick how to connect just one FIVE? Thank you.*Martin
Problems here too with Sonos and Google Assistant. I have 2 x pairs of One (Gen2) and an ARC with 2 x One (Gen2) surround. All OK until yesterday when Google Assistant stopped working on both pairs of One - remains silent when `Hey Google` spoken, as if it’s not listening. Tried reconnecting account in Google Home - no difference. In the Sonos App (Android) under Voice Assistants, the rooms containing the pairs have disappeared and when I try to add them back in the process starts, but then keeps saying `try again`.The Arc still works fine, so having read lots of reports of Google Assistant problems I’m reluctant to try Unlinking the Sonos account in Google Home.Very cross as we use voice to control multiple lights, heating etc. and we’ve invested a lot of ££ in Sonos!!
My room is dead silent, I keep getting this error when doing ‘quick tune’ - “something went wrong, we were unable to custom tune your arc ultra. Please try again”. Only advanced tuning works fine. I’ve tried 5 different devices including android and iOS. I have Sonos arc ultra. Gen 4 sub, 2 x Era 300s
This is a post to try and help people with their Sonos system dropping off the WiFi network on a regular basis when everything else on the network seems ok. I contacted Sonos and the technician solved my long term issue. It required me switching off the guest WiFi on my router which I did by logging in as administrator. Easy as that! All now works fine. Apparently my guest WiFi was using up too much bandwidth. Hope this might help.
Je n'arrive pas à fusionné plusieurs enceintes des différents chambres pour avoir la même musique partout. Je ne trouve pas l'onglet "lecture en cours" sur l'application Sonos
I’m not that computer savvy but I managed to fix my library issue. I don’t think its a Sonos issue I think its a PC issue (Windows 11). Open your music folder, right click and select properties, click on the sharing tab, click on share (not advanced sharing), in the box just type Sonos, click add, in the box below it should have added “Sonos wireless Hi Fi System, highlight that and click share. It takes a while but it finished. go back into the Sonos app and your library should pop up. Go from there. My system is working.

On my Android phone I have audio (mp3) files that I would like to play via my Sonos Amp, just as I would do with a bluetooth speaker. How do I do that?
I assuming arc ultra is compatible with sub3. I am using latest app from Apple App Store. ultra sound bar is set up and working fine. I try to add a sub 3 via the mobile app but the app search returns message: sub not found, make sure it’s powered in and connected to WiFi. How do I check if it’s connected to WiFi?
Trying to listen to dolby Atmos tracks on my Ace through some music but it only ever shows as 'lossless'. I am using a wired connection from ace to my phone. Setting for head tracking on in Sonos ace. What am I missing?
Hi guys!Hope you're doing well and are having great holidays.I'm taking the time to ask the question since I have looked for a solution many times, sadly without finding an answer for this specific case.I have my computer (RTX 3080) connected to my Samsung TV (S95B) via HDMI (passthrough) and then to my ARC (via eARC). Sadly, Samsung doesn't support DTS, even passthrough. However, I still get stereo PCM.I'd like to know which Windows players allow the conversion of DTS to multichannel PCM. I've heard it's quite easy with some Blu-ray players, but with Windows players?I had a Nvidia Shield Pro with Kodi which was able to transcode - is there anything native on Windows that could do that? Many many thanks !!!
Sub won’t hold WiFi connection. I’ve tried everything! Incredibly frustrating! I have an early gen Sub that gets through initial WiFi setup and connection to Amp - only to drop it within an hour. Have tried adding local WiFi network in addition to Sonos dedicated network. Have tried Ethernet connection to set-up, then return to WiFi only - only to have Sub drop its connection yet again. This product is crap compared to all of my other Sonos products that have functioned flawlessly. Yet it is one of the most expensive I’ve purchased. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
