Era 300 no conecta por medio de cable auxiliar ??
Now that Spence has been fired what is the app development schedule?
Looking for advice. Thanks in advance!Recently moved homes from a house that we had SONOS arc, sub, and 2 Era100 speakers for surround sound system. The new house has 7 speakercraft in ceiling speakers (2 fronts, 1 center, 2 rears, and 2 in the master bedroom) I want to use my Sonos system (Arc & Sub) for the surround sound with the 2 rear in ceiling speakers connected through a Sonos AMP. This is already hooked up now and works well. But I want to be able to use the other in ceiling speakers (2 fronts, 1 center as well as the bedroom speakers) for music or TV while entertaining guests. My question is can I use a speaker selector and connect it to the Sonos Amp to my receiver and other speakers? Do I need a Sonos Port? Do I need another Sonos Amp? I am thinking the easiest way is to run the rear speakers from the Amp into the speaker selector then have all other speakers connected into that and connected to my receiver. That way I can use the rears for surround sound system and use
It is still not possible to play “Artist Radio” song lists on Tidal when using Sonos’ iOS app. When will this be fixed? It’s been more than 4 months without this basic feature!
Hey, I live in an apartment and have 2 different rooms that i usually pair anytime i want to listen to music.PC Speaker: IKEA SymfoniskLiving room: beam + sub mini + 2x one sl Whats tedious and unnecessary:I cant choose to play on everything directly from Spotify, i have to pair them first I want the IKEA Symfonisk speaker to play at roughly 75% of the volume of my living room. So i typically set it to 30, and the living room to 40. Whats wrong is the volume control, if i raise the volume of everything it doesnt take the volume ratio into consideration, eventually ill end up with living room at 60 and pc speaker at 50. Why???? How does this makes sense? I cant think of a single scenario where i would like it to function like this…Hope you can bring an update to at least fix the volume control or add an option to lock the volume ratio between rooms.
I see there's a new CEO, but after once again getting the "No products found" screen even WHILE music is streaming on my Sonos Five through the mobile app, I'm giving up. I'm going to give the Sonos Five to my teenaged son to connect to his turntable, and I'm going to stream music through my Roku Streambar. That's right, I'm going to listen through a Roku device rather than the $500+ Sonos Five, because I cannot stand reconnecting my phone and the Five several times a week. The Sonos Ace look amazing, and I'm sure I'd potentially get a lot of use out of them on the commuter train I take to/from work, but there's no way I'm going to chance not being able to connect to the headphones. Life's too short for "no products found."
Hello everyone! I’m new to the community forum, so sincere apologies if this conversation is being repeated.Jumped on the Sonos band wagon for the Ultra, as in my mind it could only be better than the ARC, even if incremental — so far I’m struggling with the sound, all I’m getting is, very tinny, hollow vocals and lacking any refined mids, they are non existent as far as i’m concerned. It’s all a bit of a incohesive sound combined with Sub Gen3…could this be down to the mini integrated sub robbing some of the lower frequency from the crossover?I have tried all the required configurations as per Sonos, but it’s still coming up short for a £1000 upgrade.Solo, it’s okay-ish, but still very bright, hollow and tinny on the vocals (notable with actors that have deep vocals), it’s not a well rounded sound...two words, “no weight”. This was the very reason I sort to upgrade, for vocal projection on movies, because if there was one fix for the ARC it would be vocal presence on lower volume, it
I’m unable to add an album to existing queue. Is this feature gone or am I missing it?

I am looking into buying the Era 300 to put on my book shelf and in the past I received complaints about the bass vibrating to much for neighbors.I was wondering if I can flip it upside down and use the mounting holes on the bottom to hang the speaker from the bottom of the shelf using a cord to avoid the vibration on the counter. Will it sound the same if I flip it upside down?
Sonos CONNECT: Cet équipement ( acheté il y a plus de 10 ans) est détecté par l’application, mais il n’est pas ou plus possible de l’enregistrer. Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:Sonos CONNECT: This equipment (purchased more than 10 years ago) is detected by the application, but it is no longer possible to register it.
I have spent £thousands on Sonos equipment in my house over the years. I was virtually an ambassador for the brand. The last year, however, has been a total disaster since the new App was released and I have finally given up.After months of effort and re-setting I have devastatingly accepted that my surround sound speaker system can only be used by, and for, tv. It can’t be controlled at all via the Sonos App and neither will it play any music via my Spotify account via the Sonos App. My other non-tv speakers ((just under £1k worth) in separate rooms have effectively been rendered useless as I can’t play any music on them. My Roam and Move only work if I change to Bluetooth so as to bypass the Sonos App in its entirety.Nothing short of a disgrace and a scandal. No proper communication and no prospect or timeline for full rectification. I’m amazed that major stores are still selling Sonos and I’ve told all my friends to avoid it like the plague. In due course I will sell the entire syst
When streaming movies my playbar audio stutters badly. Turning off/on the power fixes the problem until I pause or change movies. connected to a Samsung TV through a sourcebox. no problems with xbox, Nintendo or music. also no problems on same network connected to my lg tv.
Hello, First time posting and most recently first time Sonos buyer. I purchased a Sonos Arc Ultra and I am in love with it. Only ever used TV speakers before so this was a very welcomed change. I have a 30% of coupon that I can use from my neighbor and I am wanting to get a sub 4 or Era 300. I think the era 300 will do me best as the sub in the arc ultra is good enough for now lol in my house. Only problem is that I can't put the speakers behind my couch only to the side of me about 1’ away from the views heads. Is it worth it or just get the sub 4 and forgo the surround for now. Also I would love to do Best Buy pick up because I am impatient :) but I do not see that option anywhere. not even greyed out. I am in San Diego and they all have what I am looking for in stock. Thanks
Hi there, Just got the Arc Ultra + Sub 4. Using it on a Samsung 85 QLED Qn85d. Plugged into the HDMI eARC. But it's saying Dolby PCM 5.1 instead of Dolby Atmos. Tried it on many movies. Sounds great still but why isnt it in dolby atmos? Is it my settings?
I’m a college student living in a one-room dorm right now. I had one Sonos Play 1 and decided to get two more Sonos Play 1s because I was trying to get my room much louder for having people over. When I added the two more Play 1s into my system, it did not get much louder. I will admit that the surround sound is incredible but that’s not what I was going for. What can I do to increase the loudness and bass? I was thinking of buying two Sonos Play 5s along with an old sub. I don’t know the best way to get a loud party setup though.
Has any one seen a rapid loss of charge while the speaker is left on the wireless charger but not turned off. My experience is that the speaker battery will go to zero in under 3 hours is the wireless charger essentially drawing power?
Before I break something, I want to know if this will work as intended. I have two zones, one Port for each.I have an older but great sounding 5x 200w Outlaw amp I want to use. 2 channels for zone 1, and 2 channels for zone 2. The 5th channel won’t be used. The Outlaw amp, like pretty much all home theater amps only has one 12v trigger input. Can I combine the two Sonos Ports with a Y cable to power the Outlaw amp? That means that if I use both zones at the same time, the amp will be getting two 12v inputs at the same time. thanks,~Jay
In late 2023 both of my Roam speakers died and would not charge whether through wired or wireless Sonos chargers. When I contacted Sonos, one of the speakers was eligible for full replacement as it was still in warranty and the other was eligible for a discount to purchase a new Roam. According to the instructions from Sonos, I was given a UPS return label and packaged them up. I was told I would receive a new speaker in the mail for the fully warrantied one, and a code via email to purchase the other (since it was only partially covered.I received no responses of any kind and attempts to contact Sonos have resulted in being passed between “the warranty department” and “the marketing department” for unknown reasons. If Sonos reads this can you help please???
I have an Ultra , a set of 300s and a grouped set of Fives. In order to get Dolby Atmos do I have to turn off my set of Fives to get Atmos or can I leave my grouped set of Fives on?
Hi all - looking for some suggestions on the right Sonos equipment/placement. First time posting to Community. Any help is appreciated. For our basement multi-purpose room, you can see the room is split with half of it being a TV/entertainment room and the other half being a kids playroom.Over December holidays I got the Beam (Gen 2) and sub mini which is creating amazing sound. I didn’t want to get the Arc Ultra for the size, and the fact the kids play there and I didn’t want to risk damaging such an expensive item that was also 2-3x the size of the Beam (Gen 2).However, I have no rear sound currently and was looking for feedback on a few options.Option1: get the Amp to power the existing ceiling Polk audio speakers for left/right channel. question - unfortunately the way the speakers are wired, the ceiling speakers wire is on the other side of the room. there is no way to have the TV output go to the amp. is that an issue? plus - get rear sound that’s Sonos enabled but is left/right c
Hi, I have just set up my Era 100 in hopes it will connect to my Audio-Technica turntable. The turntable previously would connect to a JBL bluetooth speaker. When I try to pair the Era 100 to the turntable, both flash blue searching to pair and yet don’t pair together.I can successfully pair to the Era100 from my phone bluetooth, so both devices have shown connection is possible.I do have a Ray speaker for the TV, which does also come up on my sonos app, so unsure if that can some how be why the turntable won’t connect to the Era. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? And if the Era 100 should be able to connect to the turntable via bluetooth. I don’t want or need the turntable music to come out of the ray. If I play music from spotify through the sonos app, it however does give an option to play out of both speakers. It is nice that the speakers can play the same sound when not playing records however, for example, both playing from the TV.
Short version: I have an Amp that was working fine yesterday. While moving things around, the power and HDMI input became disconnected. Everything is plugged back in and now the power LED won’t go on, the buttons on the front panel are unresponsive, and it no longer responds to the IR signal from my Apple TV remote. It will play sound, but only after I go into the mobile app and went through “Setup TV.” The power LED, IR remote, and touch controls are enabled in the app control panel.Setup: I have multiple devices connected to an HDMI selector switch (Apple TV, DVD/BD player, and Switch cradle). On the HDMI switch, there is a TOSLink audio out. I have an adapter (from Sonos) connected to that and the other end connects to an HDMI cable that goes into the Amp. The output is normal stereo speakers. It’s connected to my LAN through CAT5, so I can connect to it through wifi, even though I have wifi turned off on it (to make it use the CAT5 physical cable). I’ve been using the IR signal fro
Hi allI need expert advice for improving my existing setup.Today, I own: 1 playbar, 1 sub, 2 sonos play:1. I also have a ProJect turntable.I just swapped my TV for a projector. The projector gets the signal from the TV set top box (decoder) (connected in HDMI). Both the projector and the decoder are far away from the wall where the audio has to be.Both the decoder and the video projector have bluetooth connectivity. I am ready to invest some money (not too much) to upgrade my system. I’d like to be able to play music also from my turntable. Here are the options today:I buy a Arc Ultra and cast the audio from the decoder to the arc through bluetooth, and I connect the turntable to the arc with an analog/digital converter and an optical cable I buy one ERA300 and cast the audio from the decoder to the ERA and I plug the turntable into the ERA with the Sonos Line In Adapter I buy two ERA300 and do the same as above but I have stereo audio when I watch a movieIn all case I discard my curren
