Hello I I had a Sonos surround with an arc/ sub/ on, so -2 pcs.And everything was excellent!I have a Samsung tv and an apple tv last generation.recently I upgraded my one so to Sonos five. One now I have a delay in the sound when I watch tv.It's only when I watch one of the regular channels. When I watch movies and tv serials, there are no delays. Is there something to do about it?Thank you 🙏
I recently purchased a Beam Gen 2 and finished setting it up. My tv is an LG UH6500 which supports Dolby Digital Plus (LG 43UH6500 | ▤ Full Specifications & Reviews (productz.com) I am connected via the HDMI ARC port, but when I stream a movie in Netflix/Disney Plus (“All Quiet on The Western Front” “Starwars Episode 3”) The Sonos app only lists “Dolby Digital 5.1” instead of “Dolby Digital Plus 5.1”Is there any troubleshooting for this? My understanding is that Netflix and other streaming services should stream in Dolby Digital + if the beam is connected through ARC, not standard 5.1
How do I set up an Arc without having an Arc HDMI?
Hello! I noticed just recently that my Spotify playlists that are larger no longer add to the Sonos queue. I get an error that says, “Unable to add songs to the queue.” This only happens with my larger playlists, the smaller ones add just fine. Does anyone know why this might have just started happening? I’m using the S2 controller. Any help is much appreciated!
Hi I have just bought a FiiO M11s and would like some advice. How compatible is it with Sonos Play5 second gen Via WiFi? It sort of works using Tidal via headphones and the sonos speakers. Can’t see a way to connect speakers using Apple music and Amazon music tries to connect but immediately drops connection.Any advice or pointers would be great. FiiO support not replied to my initial request for help 6 days ago.
Hola, recientemente he comprado un Beams G2 y dos one sl. Me gustaria saber si hay alguna fecha para que se integre con google assistant en Chile dado que tengo pensado comprar mas productos sonos. Gracias
I’m attempting to assist a neighbor setting up existing ceiling speakers to create a home theater as well as a second zone for music.Currently have 4 working ceiling speakers (front L & R, rear L & R) as well as a SONOS Sub and soundbar (neither of these SONOS model or generation unknown)Have purchased 3 AMP’s with thought of using 2 for home theater (1-Front L&R, 2nd Rear L&R and 3rd for speaker pair in different room).WiFi is in room behind TV room so signal great & not planning on using any Ethernet connection.Looking for details on how to create “Home Theater” room especially AMP grouping and achieving correct configuration for Home Theater. Thanks in advance for your assistance on my journey
Questions:- Why selection of local radio stations is made that NON user friendly? Europe->Country…- Why I can't see all local radio stations through Sonos?- Whe playing music through Spotify I can forward output to Sonos. Why I can't do same for all media sources?

For some reason still unknown, the day after I disabled SMB1 on my Sonos (S2) library, I was unable to access it from any device. The typical suggestion is to just delete the library, then add it again, so I tried to do that.FYI, my library is on a Windows Server 2019 machine - this is not a NAS or USB connected to a router.I have a large library - around 100GB, and Sonos was unable to index it, telling me that the server share was “no longer available”. If I instead populate my library with a TINY number of artist folders, it will index with no problems. Sometimes after croaking on too large an update, it works the second or third try. I’ve seen this problem in the forum before. What is the bug with Sonos indexing large libraries/folders?!??
Hi,I’ve got 3 active speakers of Bang & Olufsen that I would like to keep and to use with Sonos Port ;)2 front Beolab 18 1 sub Beolab 19I tried to connect the 2 front speakers with RCA cables directly to the “out” of the SONOS PORT and it works well ! Both speakers turns ON and the music is playing.Do you know how to add the sub Beolab 19 ?Do you know if this is possible to connect the BEOSOUND 9000 to the input of the SONOS Port ?Did anyone tried it? When I’d like to listen to some music, I optimistically revisit my Sonos speaker. For a few months out of 3 years it was working with Amazon, glitchy but tolerantly okay. The rest of the time I spend an hour resetting the internet, rebooting my iPad, following all the instruction from Amazon and Sonos. reading endless forums then putting the speaker back in the closet. My entire playlists all say unable to connect to Amazon. Or unable to play, try later. Maybe a techy might get it going or not, And kill me by explaining it. I confidently deleted my Sonos app and took the speaker to the electronics recycle drop off. I feel liberated.
Is there some module or will there ever be some module that could connect to conventional speakers so that they too can be used wirelessly like all the Sonos products?
HiI have install an 3.5mm to rca cable from pc to sonos amp ( sugest by sonos operator) but i can’t listen music from speaker connect to the sonos amp ( streming service from app o sonos pc software work fine).By support we try to fix these, but unfortunaly we can’t.Operator ask me to connect the 3.5mm jack in the mic door of pc mobo, but in the source of pc i don’t see these option, I can see just S/PDIF and High Definition Audio Device from pc mobo.Do you think if I use an S/PDIF cable, will be work?any solution? Thanks at every one for the help and the timeI will link all my pc output:
I’m looking to by a new TV and want to make sure it is compatible with the ARC (current LG isn’t and had to install HDFury to resolve lip-synch issues). Am considering…. Samsung S95B OLED Model QN65S95BAFXZA LG Class B2 Series OLED Model OLED65B2PUA Sony BRAVIA XR A80K OLED Model XR65A80KAny feedback on if any of these models should be avoided because of compatibility issues?
I have had Sonos since 2008 but recently the reliability has gone through the floor!! Products missing, playlists missing and if I see “cannot connect to Sonos” again on my iPhone I will not be responsible for my actions….. What has gone so badly wrong… The whole experience has become a nightmare!!!
I moved a couple weeks ago and I got my TV mounted and was trying to setup my Living room Sonos - Sub, Playbar and (2) Play 1’s. The Sub and Playbar come up fine under TV room. One play one shows under living room 2, the other not at all. For some reason in the App I can’t just delete a speaker, nor can I move it to another room. I tried to do the paring under TV room, cant find 2 matching. I did a factory reset on the play 1 not showing, added it then added it to the TV room, it showed up in TV room 2. I’ve reset both Play 1 and added them a few times. I get network errors in the app saying it can’t update or can’t add part way thru. My network is up and runing, did speed test with over 700mps. the only time it bounced was when Sonos was adding the play1 to the room. I’ve been trying to get these two damn speakers setup for 2 hours. I do not have a wired connection in the room, so I’ve been running them upstairs to try hardwired. same thing. I’m frustrated en
What is the didderence between the One and One SL
I currently store my music on a Buffalos LinkStation 210 2TB NAS drive. For over one year, this has worked great with no issues. However, recently (and I think immediately after I ran the last Sonos update), my Sonos system can no longer locate the directory. It tells me that the NAS (a) might be disconnected or (b) that the login credentials are possibly not up to date. I know both of those suggestions are incorrect because: (a) I can access it via my computer without any issues whatsoever; and (b) the username/password have never changed. All the same, I have tried removing the directory and putting the path back into Sonos. I have reset the username and password and put those into Sonos. Nothing I do though works. I have tried variations on the path, to no avail. Although I have tried variations, typically the path is this: //LS210DAED/share/Music/MusicFor a little more context: About two weeks ago I added new music to the NAS and updated the library without issue. Then, at some poin
Yesterday I swapped Broadband suppliers and now none of my Sonus speakers work. I’ve tried changing the network and they get so far they say no connection to any of the speakers that I try to reset.I have a 6 Sonos system that is totally scrapped at the moment so hope someone can help me fix it I’ve tried hardwiring them and no different Moderator edit: combined two posts
Subject:: Alexa cannot connect to Spotify or other music sources (all enabled) after a Sonos auto software update to 14.20I have 5 sonos one speakers plus Boost that previously worked well with Alexa. After the auto software update on the speakers, Alexa failed. Specifically, Alexa could no longer execute commands such as “Alexa, play smooth jazz music.” Alexa would respond “Playing smooth jazz on Spotify … sorry that device is off line.” The problem is that everything is on line and correctly connected. Also, I can ask Alexa what is the weather or other questions like that and it responds appropriately. In summary, Alexa cannot reach any of 4 music services that were, and remain, enabled in my skills list. I followed all Sonos recommended reconnect procedures with no effect. Router is same and I made no adjustment to its settings prior to this problem; IPhone 14 is same with no changes there; Wi-Fi signal is robust throughout the house; no new additions to my network; no ‘interference
Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hello, a few years ago my friend installed an update on the soundbar and it hung and showed no signs of life, recently he gave it to me because it came in its box and it did not solve the problem. The problem itself is that the indicator is constantly white and does not respond in any way when resetting to factory settings as described in the instructions on your websi
Hi, I recently moved into a house with in-ceiling speakers and Zoneplayer 120 / Connect Amp connected to the speakers throughout the house, other than in the basement where there is no amp. I am using the basement room as a gym so I don’t see the need to have that room play the same music as other parts of the house.I was just going to get a used Zoneplayer 120 / Connect Amp but they still sell for $200+ CAD where I am. My questions is do you see any benefit in getting that over a generic Bluetooth amp for less than half the price. Bluetooth would be nice because I am then not limited to S1 music services (no Airplay, etc.).If I stick to similar wattage of the Zoneplayer 120 (55W per speaker), will I miss out on sound quality? Some alternative Bluetooth amps I found quickly on Amazon are: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06Y67PZB1/ref=emc_b_5_thttps://www.amazon.ca/dp/B076XSBCCL/ref=emc_b_5_iLook forward to hearing your views. Thanks.
This issue seems to have been reported and commented on for about four years now. Equipment and processes have all been different but the issue has been the same. Mine started when I connected the mini-sub to my Arc SL. Not that it matters, but my audio comes from the e-arc port on a Samsung Q80T and the issue replicates across all of my inputs, including Nvidia Shield, SkyQ and native TV apps.Prior to connecting the sub, for about a year the Arc retained the previous volume level it was set to when the TV was switched off/on.I'm loathed to start disconnecting and reconnecting subs and soundbars because that's not what I paid for but after reading about this issue going on for a few years now, I fear won't have much choice.
