Hello I have a Sonos connect that is in another room, cabled into an amp powering multiple ceiling speakers. can anyone suggest a remote control I could use for the connect to simply adjust the volume. I can use my phone, but was after a way to have a remote to adjust the volume that can be picked up by anyone. thanks.
I have 2 homes, with a different wifi network in each. (Actually, 2 in each, using extenders.)We have an old Sonos system which requires the Sonos 1 app on one of the networks. We have a newer Sonos One (voice activated) which works on the Sonos 2 app on the Wifi network in our vacation home.I have a new Sonos One SL and a new Sonos Roam, which I would like to configure in one home, but then move to the other. I can’t add them to the Sonos 1 app because they are not compatible. Can I create a new connection for the Sonos 2 app, using a network in my main home, even though it’s currently configured for the vacation home?Am I even making any sense?
Moved to a new WiFi Router, and my Sonos Roam won’t play nice with it. I’ve tried to set it up about four times, each time cycling through the setup/troubleshooting options (Make sure the network matches my device, check the password, reboot the Roam, reboot the router, etc.), and occasionally rebooting my device (iPhone), and it’s still not working. The Wifi comes with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghzs options - The Roam only sees the latter, and even when my device’s WiFi settings are is switched to that one, it’s still not having it. I’m very tired - Any help is appreciated!!
Bought an Amp I think within the last six months and it was working fine. Upgraded from ZP100. Now it randomly takes down my system and nothing works I usually manage to get it up and running again by disconnecting the power to the amp. Happens more than it should. This time I’ve pulled power and Ethernet cable and can’t get it to work. At the moment all my other speakers have disappeared into lala land and only the Amp (unused) not registered shows. any suggestions besides factory reset. off to bed to dream about this now lol
Good morning,As part of our new office building, our retail team are wanting to setup 4 Sonos One SL speakers in the cafe and retail area on the ground floor. We checked with our AV partner who are installing our Teams meeting rooms to check that they wouldn't interfere and they are happy that they wouldnt, however they did raise concerns as they advised Sonos are designed for domestic use and in a commercial bulding they would cause a “big issue” as they sit on 2.4 GHz (congested wi fi channels) and may cause interference. They advised that the person installing them will need to understand what access points are going in on what channels and then, ensure that the Sonos are separated. Is this correct? I can see from the specs that the Sonos One SL work on 2.4 or 5 GHz bands and that Sonos are starting to move into the commercial market, so I am slightly sceptical of the advice we have been given. We are installing Meraki MR36 wifi 6 access points so I think this should help as they
I am purchasing a SONOS Arc with surround to connect to a TV. Can I also output sound from a Stereo (with turntable and CD Player) to the SONOS Arc system? Can I do that with a PORT? if yes, is there a PORT setup option to play on SONOS Arc? Thanks.
Please SONOS, stop to multiplie version and correction ...This last version is * (sorry for bad language, but it’s real) ... what crippy buffering with MUSIC (IOS / MACOS), ½ chance lost surround, …The 15.2 was a “good “ version : rounded sound, audible vocal, … but since … horrible bass, few clicking during play, highest variation during movie, pffff …PLEASE, STOP, and FORWARD version … *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.*
Réglage balance droite gauche pour deux era 300 en stéréo ?
Est-ce que je peux ajouter un sonos amp à mon sonos arc
I’m reasonably new to Sonos products…I have had a Sonos Arc for about a week. It’s connected via HDMI to my LG OLED TV. Settings on the TV are to use eARC, passthrough and Dolby Digital Plus codec.Yesterday I recevied x2 Era 300s that I want to use a rear surround speakers. I’ve added these to the Arc home cinema systemHave tried Dolby Atmos sound by watching something on Netflix. Sound is definitely coming from the Era 300’s. It’s a little quiet but think I can change that in the app. in the app the Arc Home Theatre set-up also shows its receiving a Dolby Atmos signal.Moving onto non-Atmos; I’ve tried a few different videos using 5:1 surround sound. Not a peep is coming from the Era 300;s. I’ve checked the app and can see the Arc is receiving a 5:1 signal but only seems to be playing this via the Arc and not using the Era 300s.I have no idea where I’m going wrong! In an ideal world I’d also be able to use the Era 300s to output audio when playing 2:0 or PCM content but wouldnt want to
I've got a fair amount of Sonos gear, but I'm starting to get fed up with the poor wifi in their speakers. The stuff in my TV room - Arc, Sub min, two rear Ones - works fine. I have a Sonos amp in my office, and I rarely have problems with that. But in my bedroom, there have been problems for a long time.Previously, I had a pair of Ones, and the right speaker signal dropped out often. Sonos suggested changing the wifi channel, and I did that, and it was improved.I recently update to a pair of Era 100s, and it's even worse. Almost every time I listen, one of the speakers goes offline and reboots. Sonos support says that this is because it's searching for a good wifi connection, but I have a Netgear Orbi wifi 6 mesh system, and in that room, I get several hundred Mb/s in speed tests. And this is with an access point less than 20 feet from the speakers. No other wifi device I own - and I have quite a few - has problems with this. The wifi radios on the Sonos gear must be underpowered, and
So I did the sub crawl with the sub gen 3 and found the best spot I could find. While doing initial measurements it seemed quite flat, but now a day later, I remeasured and there's a lot of dips.I use a beam gen 2, 2 one SL's as surrounds and the sub gen 3.Blue is with trueplay and orange is without. After trueplay the 30hz was on par with 50 and 60 and I didn't have the dip between 50 and 70.Without trueplay 30hz rattles the doors and is painful to the ears anywhere but the couch (it's probably in a null or something).Any tips to get this to be a bit better?
I'm just building a house at the moment and planning a home theatre room with new Sonos gear - Arc, sub and 2 Era 300s . On the installation front, I’ve been reading reviews this morning and one indicated a need for ethernet cable connections to fix a lag between the Arc and the Era 300s and sub (https://cybershack.com.au/reviews/sonos-era-300-as-rears-to-the-sonos-arc-superb-dolby-atmos-7-1-4-review/?unapproved=60193&moderation-hash=9d98285680f738e006005efc5e7695f2#comment-60193).The Arc will be connected to the TV with an eArc HDMI cable. The TV will be connected to the router with an ethernet cable. I wasn't planning on connecting any of the 4 Sonos speakers via ethernet, instead I was planning on just relying on wifi connection (as I have for all my current existing and past Sonos gear). Based on the review above, that could be a problem. Do others agree and, if so, should I provision an ethernet cable back to the main router, or is there some way of directly connecting the Arc
Father in law gave me a nice vintage turntable so I ordered the Sonos Amp and received it with much excitement. B&W speakers are on the way but for now I don't have passive speakers which made trouble-shooting interesting... TT and phono stage to line-in on the Amp streaming to my Arc and one SLs in the other room and... uuuggh... a quiet, harsh, tinny sound with ZERO bass.So... after hours of fooling around I'm still at square one. In a nutshell this is what I've done:-Tested the turntable (phono stage has a separate headphone jack... sounds great)-Used other line-in sources to the Amp... my phone, cd player... all sound great.-I even hooked up an audio interface to the turntable and then to my Amp. It has a line-out so I was sure I was getting a line level signal. This also sounded great. There's obviously some ADC going on in there and this solved the issue... not sure how?As soon as I put the exact same same line-out from the phono stage back into my Amp directly I get the quie
Struggling with a One SL (also have a Gen1 Play5 and a Play1)Got it working with S2 controller. Playing from Spotify app on w11 laptopOpened an email and WHAM, the SL was dropped from the network. Had to reconnect it which involved manually entering the network details (listed networks included all my neighbors, but not mine)Totally weird.
Hello, I would like to connect the speakers of my Denon AVR home cinema system to my Sonos system via a Sonos Connect. When I connect my Sonos Connect to my amp, in analog, I can't get my speakers to work. Do you know what the ideal connection is?Many thanks in advance!
Bonjour,Y-a-t’il moyen de mettre la Sonos Arc hors tension. Il n’y a pas de fonction on/off.Hi,Is there a way to turn off the Sonos Arc. There is no on/off function.Merci,Thx
Yeah this skipping issue is so finite that it is reproduced like a charm and throws everything to crap. Context: We have a yoga studio and on the studio side we have 6 Play 3’s and Sub Gen 3 and a Boost, in the lobby we have 2 Symfonisk bookshelf speakers. All teachers in the studio use Spotify. The Boost is hardwired to the router and everything else is wireless. The router is a Netgear Nighthawk running speeds I can never fathom to use and wireless connection throughout the studio is insane. I placed the Boost 6ft away from the router and both 6ft away from the Xfinity Modem. We removed our Sonos Connect, plus a Battery backup unit, all to reduce interference. We have over 16 people connected to our Sonos system, something that Sonos wasn’t prepared for apparently, most use cases never exceed 10 users, but we did. However only 1 person is connected at a time, that is it. In addition to the Teacher playing from their phone as a controller, we have an iPad that has Sonos and is connect
Can you pair echo sub to sono's arc
I have three Sonos Playbars. I want to set them up with two rear speakers, two additional front speakers, and a sub. They want it louder this is for a senior center.I have seen posts that this can be done for the rear speakers but not the front ones. I want to end up with six speakers. They are front left, front right, center bar, sub, rear left, and rear right. Can we get four Sonos 1 speakers and configure them?
Surely in 2003, two company’s with different objectives could at least work together in a modern world and provide an integrated solution….Sonos sound is amazin, my house is full of it - fantastic integration with Apple and Amazon has not improved In years whilst a phone is “a” place to choose music - surely a central control centre in the household is still a great asset to a system - perhaps the likes of an Amazon show? An amazon show cannot even communicate nor stream/airplay music to a Sonos speaker - yet both claim to be “so” compatible with each otherI have seen a few posts about this now and people saying they prefer wires? WTF?The amazon show can even show movies….Is it really to much to as that whilst preparing a meal in the kitchen say, that the Amazon show can be used as the household central control device, the words of the song appear right there on its screen and the music PUMPS out not only it’s little crappy speaker but the FULL Sonos sound system and all its beauty - n
i need to change my wifi to match my phone but how do i do this if it wont connect to my app?
I am using my sonos S.L. to play white noise in the room while on vacation. The speaker is connected to my phone with a Bluetooth connection and every night the sonos turns off at 5 am for no reason. I then have to unplug it and replug it back in and it turns on and begins to work. This doesn’t seem to be a normal thing. Any help would be appreciated.
My ARC stopped playing music and is making a constant noise that I can’t turn off
good day everyone.I bought a PlayStation 5 a while ago and I was shocked that the sound is only coming from my LG OLED55C9PLA TV and not from the sonos Beam gen 2 soundbar.I tried setting the sound output to eARC but that didn't help at all.do you have any tips or advice on how to get the sound from my PlayStation 5 through Sonos?Thank You.
