My ARC stopped playing music and is making a constant noise that I can’t turn off

 Submit a system diagnostic, and call Sonos Support to discuss it, after you’ve unplugged it  

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.

 


It could just be be playing whatever the TV is sending it, or it could be an issue with the Arc. The diagnostic would help Sonos determine which. 


Great advice by @Airgetlam . However, I have a question:

What music source were you sending to the Arc? Was it Spotify, Apple Music or something else? Try this:

  1. Open the app and Select the Arc.
  1. Locate the horizontal bars in the upper right corner and click on them.

 

  1. Select End Session

 

 

  1. If the noise stops then it was the streaming service at fault.
