Anyone know how to fix error 913? Mac OS 13.6.6 Cheers.
When playing Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio through a pair of Era 300’s, how are the individual Atmos channels distributed across the combination drivers in the speaker pair? I’ve tried to locate information on this topic on Reddit, YouTube, etc, but could not find any specific details. Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Community,Would like to have the confirmation that Sonos arc ultra is compatible with TT pro ject T1 EVO BT ?Does someone have this configuration ?Many thanks for your help.RegardsFred
My Apple phone connects to my Sonos 5, but there’s no audio. Daughter’s phone does connect and plays audio. I’ve done a reset and volume settings appear fine. Any thoughts are much appreciated.
My Sonos is offline on all radio stations. Anybody else having connection problems?
Hello team. I’m using a Sonos Connect to connect the Sonos ecosystem to my analog speakers. My current issue is when I use the Sonos app and play Apple Music to my Sonos Connect--so the line out is through my analog speakers--every song at some point it skips slightly. Think of a record skipping on a record player. My setup for the line out is Connect > Mini Amp (Pyle) > non-powered analog speakers. I have tried going from RCA cables between the Connect and Mini Amp, as well as RCA to Digital (using a converter on Amazon). No dice, still does the same thing. My internet bandwidth is strong and I use Sonos Ones and a Beam with no issue. And again, the music doesn’t drop out, so that doesn’t have me think bandwidth. It literally slightly stutters and goes back a millisecond, like a record skipping.Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is so specific that I don’t know if anyone else has experienced, but I’m crossing my fingers!
Alright everyone, here’s the deal. I have had a couple of Sonos roams for the last couple years. Two weeks ago I purchased a Sonos arc and a Sonos roam 2. Used the HDMI Arc cable and connected it to the Tv and at first everything worked as intended in the app. I was able to have tv audio play out of both the sound bar and whichever roam speaker I had selected. Two days ago for whatever reason the Television audio specifically will not play out of any of the roams. It will play out of the soundbar and I can control it via app but when I try to get the tv audio to play out of the roams it will not work. Music audio works completely fine via the Sonos app. I have tried: resetting my phone uninstalling and reinstalling the app logging in and out of the app resetting the system hard resetting my phone changing the audio type out of the television to PCM / auto / pass through resetting the WiFi network reconnecting the speakers to wifichecking both television for updates as well as sonos s
How do I stop the Sonos ARC from powering on my computer and Blu-ray player when turning on the TV? The Sonos ARC is plugged in to the HDMI eARC/ARC port on my TV.
I pay for Amazon music and it is my preferred music stream service. Why am I having connection issues with just the one service but the others play just fine. Leads me to think it’s not a wifi issue. It is constantly going in and out with Amazon, it is unlistenable.
I have a Arc Ultra with which I am experiencing some volume disparities. If I play Sonos radio (ABC Classic) on Arc Ultra the volume has to be up around 55% to be able to hear it at a reasonable level. With my ERA300 it would be at about 45% to get same volume If I stream music from Apple or Qobuz the volume level has to be dropped to about 35% on the Arc to be the same “reasonable level”. The worst problem is that when we turn the TV on it uses the previous volume level ie 56% and just about blasts us out of the house. Needs to be dropped to about 35% to be about right. Is this really correct behaviour for either the ARC - shouldn’t the TV kick in at a default lower volume rather than previous level. Shouldn’t ARC and ERA act similarly with same source. And why is Sonos Radio so much “lower” - I have tried various stations and they are all the similar.Very annoying behaviour.Moderator edit: Changed Plus to Ultra for clarity
Hi,I recently moved and in the move I could no longer use the preinstalled network. Here, I now have a 5g router (as fiber is being installed in a few weeks), this router is an ZTE and it supports dualband and some setups. On top of that, I also have Google Wifi that can be used.I think I’ve tried everything now, and I can’t get anything working with sonos. All other things in my IoT infra works just fine, but Sonos is… so far 3-4 hours down the drain. I’ve done a factory restore of all sonos devices. Arc, One SL (x2) and sub. I see all of these listed as “ready to be installed”. When trying to connect to a wifi, it instantly says it could not connect. Both the built in ZTE router wifi, and google wifi (Which is frech from factory reset aswell). When trying to connect by cable, the sonos device will appear in my phone as normal, but it can’t connect to it at all. So I cannot even select for it to use a wired setup. Ie, It never plays the pin-code sound or such.On that note, my devices
Yesterday we had a broadband outage for a couple of hours, granted not the end civilisation as we know it but, we were unable to access our local music library as the App would not load. Why won’t the App load if there is no internet?Surely if our local network is up and running we should be able to play our own music?I’m pretty sure you could do this was working in the old App?Is there any plan to fix this? ThanksGeoff
Hardware updates launched from my iPhone (12 mini, up-to-date) have been failing (for many months) in three of my ten rooms - two have Sonos Amps, one has a Sonos Five. However, hardware updates launched from my MacBook Air (M1, up-to-date) always succeed. Any ideas why this might be true? The problem is 100% consistent no matter where I am in the house (I’m normally 5 feet from the Router and my Sonos Boost), and has been true for many rounds of updates (Sonos, iOS, MacOS.). Error is typically 1010, though I think I may have seen 1000 once or twice. This is not a major issue, since I CAN update the hardware. But it sure seems odd, right?
Right, bit late to catch on but the app is a drag, right? I worked hard to pay for my delightful Sonos 5 some years ago but then past few months, I’ve been tearing my head out with intermittent connectivity and now volume control and I just gave up thinking it was me. Finally! I find some time to do some research and bam! I discover a sonos storm. When is my sound life going to resume to normal? I’m practically a luddite but I do like my sound.
I have updated my App and speaker to the latest update.App: 80.16.32 (iOS)Speaker: 83.1-61130Current system versionBut on my speakers I have version 83.1-61210. This version is not available on their website at all. Which version do you have installed?
I have a Connect and two Play:1 using the new app and firmware. I use a Samsung Android phone as controller. Starting Spotify playback directly on one of the Play:1 (paused on the same Play:1 earlier this morning from an alarm). Works fine. I then try to group the Connect to the Play:1 playing. Seems to accept it, but nothing happens playback wise on the Connect and the app ungroups them again after some time. Repeat many times - even get "system not found" one or two times though it find it again after 5-10 seconds - but no luck in grouping. Only the Play:1 actually plays.I stop the playback on the Play:1, then switch to the Connect, group it with the Play:1, find a playlist and start it - now it works. Is this still a known issue (one of many)? Other things: Opening the app always take at least 10 seconds with "device not found" until system becomes somewhat ready, extremely annoying though I know this is fast compared to some other users. Also REALLY annoying that the widget is gone
Hi, I had a little fun with my Arc Ultra/Sub 4/Era 300 setup + Apple TV + Hisense c2 ultra. However I have a problem that is ... annoying. When I turn on my Apple TV using the Apple remote, the sound bar starts up fine. However, I have no sound with the “earc / automatic” setting. To get sound again I either have to change my source manually, but I lose the surround sound of the Era300, or deactivate/activate the “earc” in the projector settings. For your information, I have a 10M HDMI cable between the sound bar and my video projector: https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B08TGH1HDRIt's only a few seconds each time you turn it on, but ... it's not smooth and it's bothering me a bit. Do you have any solutions? Best regards
I started to use the Roon app to replace the Sonos app.It is working great on my Sonos speakers. Qobuz and Tidal have been much well integrated in Roon and it sounds really amazing. The Roon server is on my pc right now but I ordered the Roon Nucleus One to be my future server. On my iPhone I have the Roon app very easy to use where I am connected to my Qobuz and Tidal accounts. I have cancelled my Spotify subscription as Qobuz or Tidal have a better quality streaming.Any other with the same setup or experience?
Hello,I understand from what I know of Spotify Connect enabled devices that it’s pulling in the stream directly from the source (Spotify) as opposed to the device that initiated the stream (my cellphone -iphone12). However, it appears it’s not behaving correctly. I figured I would check with the Sonos community before hopping over to Spotify. ObservationCell phone connected to home network via Wifi. I started playing music on my Sonos speaker(s). I reset my cellular statistics I left the house for about 1-1.5 hours for a class (phone was idle) Came back home and spotify still playing on Sonos speakers Checked cellular statics and it says Spotify consumed about 1GB of dataSpotify SettingsDatasaver was enabled Video podcasts - Download audio only set to true Video podcasts - Stream audio only = set to true (I don’t think I am subscribed to video podcasts) Playback (Disabled due to option 1 above) Audio Quality (Disabled due to option 1 above) Question: Is there any setting on the Sonos
I have a Sonos Ray, Sub Mini and a pair of Era 100 speakers connected to my Panasonic TV all working beautifully as they should and set up as Living Room on the app. I have bought an Argon TT-3 turntable and using a new RCA cable and Sonos 3.5 / C-connection I have connected to one of the Era 100 speakers. The app did not recognise or connect showing the Line-in connection and message ‘No product found’ when searching for the turntable. Sonos support tried to help me but could only suggest deleting the Era speakers and Sub Mini from the TV setup to allow the Line In / Turntable to be recognised. This worked but I then have to reverse the whole process to go back to the TV! Surely this should be more simple and quick to do?? Shouldn’t the app see 2 outputs - TV and Turntable - I have seen videos showing the system switching to the turntable as soon as the stylus contacts the vinyl record - what am I missing or doing wrong??
I have a question about how I can navigate to the album of a currently playing song from the “Now playing” screen?I can navigate to the artist of a current song by pressing the “three dots” button, but not to the album.I would appreciate a screenshot showing me the button or an acknowledgement that this functionality is currently not present.
Hi, Recently noticed that I cant see any songs in the queue. It's definitely playing them, but I cant view them or see what's coming up or choose a different song from the queue. I use mainly amazon music and I'm sure this has only been an issue recently. Any ideas, suggestions, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hello all, this is my first post here. I have 3 SL1 separates and a sub along with a sound bar. I previously had spectrum cable internet which I wasn’t happy with. Now previously before the WiFi update, everything worked perfectly! I upgraded the optical cord to a new one, and it still doesn’t work. I am at my wits end at this point and getting ready to call in to geek squad and see if they’ll do a house call.
I noticed that If I use airplay (or the Sonos app) to play music or podcasts on my Sonos speakers, then the next time I turn on the TV the sound will come from all of the speakers. I don’t want this. I want the sound only to come from the Arc Ultra soundbar, not speakers in other rooms. I have to manually deselect the other speakers in the app, even when I used airplay when I was using them. Is there a way to deal with this so that only the soundbar will be used automatically when using the TV, and if not will this be addressed?
Is there a solution for the Sonos dropping out constantly? We will be listening and it will just pause and stop the connection to the music. If I press play again the app says it’s connected but the music plays from the phone. Tried three different phones on two different versions of IOS but it’s been going on for months. It’s really frustrating because sometimes it’s fine, other times it will drop out five times in one song.
