Return of a similar issue reported and address back in the summer (2023). When searching the “My Music” subdirectory in the Amazon Music Service menu, the display of the artists and albums in the My Music library subdirectory is incomplete. The good news is that the music is there & can be accessed by searching. The problem appears to be solely that you can not look up all of the artists and albums in the subdirectory if you trying to make a selection of music to listen to.I called this into Sonos support 7-10 days ago. No change as of today (12/5). I appreciate that Sonos may need to engage with Amazon to resolve. Are other users experiencing this again? Please post if you are so we can help move the issue forward to resolution. Thanks all.
Hello, I’m using SVC on the Roam. Any answer given by SVC is (subjectively) twice as loud as the actual media volume. This makes it extremely disturbing and unusable for me because it’s basically yelling to the whole neighborhood about my Sonos setup status… making me go to great lengths to actively not use it. What’s the solution here? Thanks in advance. (P.S. this goes somewhat hand in hand with a different topic of mine, discussing the need to not have answers at all.)
Ist es möglich eine Sonos move Box per Sprachbefehl aus- und wieder einzuschalten, also neu zu starten?
I am continuing to have issues with my Playbar, which is part of a surround system with 2 Play:1s. I previously had a google mesh network and changed it to Eero thinking it would get better, it didn’t. I thought the issue might be it trying to play across multiple rooms, but it’s cutting out while only playing in one room. I’ve previously disconnected the surrounds, which work fine on their own, but the Playbar will still skip on its own in this room. I moved the Playbar to a different room of my house and didn’t hear skipping, but that could just be because it’s intermittent. This wasn’t a great test because I do remember this specific Playbar skipping when I had it hooked up in another room about a year ago.None of this makes sense since the Playbar has a perfect internet connection and all other speakers in the house have no issues. It’s also only a 1400 sq ft house with three mesh WiFi hubs (one for each floor). At this point, is it possible I just have a bad Playbar? I can see the
I read many threads on here about issues when various Sonos groups/speakers are played simultaneously. Everyone always says “it’s the network.” I had an older google mesh system putting out 100mb DL speeds and 10mb UL with a latency of about 25. Alas, because I listened to the people here, I bought a WiFi 6 eero mesh network thinking the community knew something I did not. The internet speeds went up to 250mb dl/10UL and 21 latency. But the problem didn’t go away. None of my other devices in the house have any glitching issues. I can stream UHD TV with no stuttering, but somehow my Playbar and two play:1s surrounds can’t keep a music signal going. I am at a loss and have spent so much money and time trying to fix this. I know people say to try unplugging the the Playbar, but yesterday the power in my house went out so all the Sonos devices automatically restarted. What could possibly be left?
My husband recently purchased a Sonos system -- ARC, sub Gen 3 and Era 300 speakers. He has an old turntable that he wants to connect to it and I would like to get him the equipment needed to do so for Christmas, but i have no idea what is needed. The turntable is a Technics SL-1200MK2. I think a preamp is needed? Anything else? What preamp would you recommend?
Suddenly my Alexa devices are not controlling any of my sonos speakers. I’ve done the standard resetting of my system, disabling and re-enabling the skill etc. no luck.
I just got the Arc installed in my 16’ x 17’ media room. I’m happy with the purchase but it’s not as full a sound as I was hoping for. Trying to decide whether to add the Sub … or try (2) Era 100 speakers for surround sound.Curious if others have tried Arc + 2 Era 100 without the Sub in a TV room and what your thoughts are on sound depth/fullness for TV and movies.
Seems to be a common discussion on this topic. Less than 2 years old and my roam is dead. Tried all the tricks and tips from support and still dead. Here is 30% off thanks bye from support. How are they still standing behind this and selling this thing with all the known problems? Its a great speaker when working. Really don't want to buy another one because I'm afraid of being in the same boat again. Is it really worth paying $200+ for the move? Seems like there should be a better option.
Is it worth it to add a sub mini to a stereo pair of Sonos 5’s?
Hi - to make this complex question simple to read I am being direct with my dilemma.I have two priorities.the best hifi sound I can get for the money enhanced tv/moviesAverage size room 55” LG C1 tv (terrible sound) Bluetooth Surround Ready Simplink (HDMI CEC) Currently have a traditional stereo component system I want to get rid of, Nothing great Turntable music importantAfter countless hours of Sonos research but never having heard anything in person, I am pondering the following options:two Era 300s - the comments I’ve read make me wonder if these would suffice without a soundbar. Beam 2 AND sub mini AND two Era 100s - Since the 100s are not dolby atmos would the soundbar give me all the enhanced tv sound I might like? Beam 2 AND two Era 300s - Do the Era 300s make the soundbar redundant?Your thoughts are very much appreciated.-Will
See the attached pic. This is in the Sonos app for macOS. Notice that the letter headings skip from “T” to “W”. In the “W” group is an artist starting with T, followed by U, V, etc.
I’m having an issue with my arc and surrounds when I start music using Alexa. I have a number of Sonos speakers:surround upstairs bathroom play 1 basement play 1 Arc+300s+sub Living RoomWhen I create an Alexa group with all four and say Play “name of the group,” I can see in the Sonos app that all four have been triggered to play. The problem is, it’s only actually playing on the first 3. I tried a separate test where I asked Alexa to just play it on #4. Again, it looks like it’s playing but there is no sound, even when I crank it to 100. Now, if I do the exact same thing and start a song either individually on #4 or as a group using the Sonos app, everything plays as expected. I have no idea how to fix this. I’ve changed the name of the group in Alexa. I unplugged my arc and reconfigured it, then put the surrounds and sub into the surround bond again. No matter what I do, Alexa does the same thing - the music appears to play on all four, but it’s only three. One interesting thing is
Pandora unable browse. All other apps work fine.
I have added the Alexa Voice assistant to my Sonos speakers. when I ask it to play music, it will repeat back what I have asked in the confirmation reply but the music does not play. Has anyone else experienced the same or is able to suggest a remedy?
Hey GuysI recently bought the FeinTech VAX04101 bridge to connect my ATV to the Sonos Arc to enjoy Dolby Atmos. Now the problem is, after starting a movie it plays the sound for around 30 seconds. After this time the movie continue to play but without sound. I tried this on AppleTV, Netflix, Disney+ and Apple Music. The funny thing is, its just when the playback is set to Atmos. When its e.g. PCM 5.1 there is no problem with the playback. I already reset my whole Sonos system and also my ATV. I already changed all HDMI cables with new ones but still no effect on it. Somebody has maybe any advice what i could do or check? My setup: LG HU85LS Beamer (only ARC HDMI supported) , Apple TV, Feintech VAX04101, Sonos Arc, 2x Sonos ONE SL and a Sonos Sub.
I have first generation play five speakers that I’ve paired and every day either the left or the right will drop off anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute and then cut back on again
I read many post about Sonos Arc dialogue levels low VS Music and Action very high. I turned off loudness and speech enhancement on. Did trueplay multiple times. I have to continuously keep changing volume + for dialogue and - or other action / music scenes. Any idea how to fix it and level (balance) the overall volume. Still not enjoying the overall stage like Boss, wish i had return it during the return time frame.
HiI Just connected my beam g2 to my tv and paired my TCL remote to control the volume. But now my tv remote cant do anything other than turn off/on and volume on the speaker. Ive tried to recconect the remote to my tv but nothing changes. Was wondering if removing the remote from sonos could solve the issue but i dont know how.
Hey I have 2 Sonos One (and really enjoy it) But the room as a weird space, and I’m thinking to add a third one. Is it possible ? Can I had a Sonos One SL to my 2 Sonos One ? (or does it have to be a Sonos One ?)
I use a Sonos speaker in conjunction with Spotify and Alexa. However, some music tracks have a much lower volume level than others so I am constantly having to increase and reduce the level for each track. Some Christmas carols seem to suffer from this in particular although other tracks have the same problem. Is there any way of overcoming this please?
Sonos beam and Sonos arc sound bars should be able to have two customizable EQ settings. One for when listening to music, and one for when watching TV. Two to four times a day I have to change my Beam and Arc Soundbar EQ. I enjoy bass 0, treble +6 when watching TV. And bass +8, treble +9 when listening to music. my wife gets so frustrated when I forget to change the settings back to our tv eq settings after listening to music, that she wants me to remove the Sonos sound bars altogether. this should be a relatively easy feature, as it appears like the app already knows if the Soundbar is being used for TV or music based on the audio input source. Please like and upvote this and let’s get this feature added.
Hello, I’m French.I've just bought a new SAMSUNG A23 5G phone. I downloaded the SONOS S2 application from the Play Store. I click on "Add to an existing system". It tells me: "Connect this mobile device to the Wi-FI network to continue." OK....and nothing happens. But I'm connected to WIFI.How do I proceed? Thanks for your answer.
I just set up my Sonos system and I am not sure if the following is correct: it is **not** possible to send output from any Android app to Sonos app to have it outputed through the Sonos speaker?Take the YouTube app (not YouTube music)as an example. Is my understanding correct that it is not possible to use the app and listen to it's content on the Sonos speakers (at least not out of the box)? If it is correct am I the only one thinking this is somewhat fraud? There are endless apps which have audio output and Sonos decides that only a few dozens are worth being used (as they are supported as services in the app)?
Ayuda. ¿Cómo conectar mi par era 300 a mi Apple TV?
