Hi guys, I have problems with Arc Ultra and my surround system.I switched from Arc to Arc Ultra several days ago. From that moment, I noticed that randomly LEDs on the surround and sub blink white for a while, then it return to work good, but only surround speakers (IKEA Table lamp Gen 2). The sub gen 3, has solid orange light and not working! I can see in the app as disconnected! I have to reboot it to work again. What I can do? Thanks!
I’m trying to get my Samsung frame TV remote control to directly increase or decrease the volume on the Sonos Beam. I’ve paired the remote control with the Sonos beam in the Sonos app. However, every time I use it, although it works correctly, the frame TV shows an optical message on the screen which is very irritating The Beam is connected to the frame TV using a HDMI cable, and it is plugged into the optical port on the frame TV junction box via and HDMI to optical adopter from Sonos. any help on this would be wonderful
My alarms all of a sudden stopped working. I looked in the Sonos Community for solutions and unfortunately the following troubleshooting suggestions did not work:Update software Delete alarms and set new alarms Set alarms on a desktop Checked time zone (even though I’m Arizona, which daylight savings doesn’t apply to us.I would appreciate your help.Thank you
I moved my Play:5 to another room. After that it kind of ended up in a hickup.I try to describe my problem. If I start playback of music from the Sonos App or via Airplay the Sonos indicator light toggles between orange and white. When I touch the play button twice it starts to play.As long asI don’t pause the music play on. Switching to another track works aswell. But when I press on pause and then start the music again the blinking starts again and I have to double touch the play button on the Sonos again. Is that a known problem? What can I do? I already did a factory reset. I moved it back to the old location. I tried Ethernet Cable. Same problem.
I have an LG OLED TV and have bought a Beam 2 to add to my sub mini and era 100’s to create a home theatre. My TV has Dolby Atmos and all the settings for this are available.. until I connect my Beam through the HDMI ARC port.No sources I use show Dolby Atmos, and all the TV settings are greyed out.I had a call with Sonos support who connected to my system and confirmed all settings and connections are correct. He then convinced me that the Dolby 5.1 I am getting is better than Atmos.I am not convinced that it is based on my Sons experience with Samsung & Beam. Can anyone advise? I am considering returning the Beam as I feel I am not getting the best experience for my money which is disappointing having built up the system based on Sonos products Any advice is welcome.
I brought my Sonos system from Germany to India. It’s not getting connected.
I have a Sony Bravia TV, Apple TV 4K, and Sonos Beam. I'm experiencing connectivity issues with my audio setup. My current setup:- On my Sony TV: I've selected "Use external speakers"- On my Apple TV: I've set Audio Format to "Stereo"- I'm using an HDMI cable to connect the Beam to my TV's HDMI ARC port (HDMI 3)The Issue:Every time I turn on my TV, the audio doesn't automatically route to my Sonos Beam. The only way to get sound through the Beam is by manually accessing the Apple TV menu and selecting the Beam as an "external speaker" each time.Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? I'd appreciate any help!
Do Sonos is working on another material to be less warm on the ear , to wear longer and be able to wear at gym. Would love to be able to swap to something like a mesh or mesh fabric or something that is wick proof . I have one of these swappable on my Meta headset and it’s awesome for high energy game . I will not mind loosing a little bit of sound quality for more comfort during warm season and while doing workout at the gym. I need detailed guidance how to connect Sonos Port to Beoplay A9 4th gen so that it can play along in sync with the Sonos system of speakers I have (Era 300, Arc). So far I was able to connect the Port to the Sonos system and connected the Port to the B&O A9 using an RCA to 3.5 mm cable (A9 has only 3.5 mm in). No sound whatsoever coming out of A9. I used the line out ports of the Port to plug the RCA. I am doing something wrong apparently as for now only the Sonos speakers are playing the online radio stations, not the A9. Guidance needed
Hey guys,I know this has been asked before already, but I couldn't find a recent topic regarding this.At my parents’ place, we have a fairly extensive Sonos setup that has been in place for many years. It’s a mix of older and newer equipment, but everything runs via the S2 controller. Currently, everything operates over SonosNet. A few Sonos devices are wired, with only two devices having Sonos Wi-Fi enabled (to prevent STP issues with Unifi). This setup works reasonably well, but compared to my own setup at home, I notice that everything is much more sluggish. Grouping devices often takes tens of seconds, volume changes don’t register immediately, skipping sons occasionally takes some time, etc. Summary of the setup: They have a main house and a smaller garden house that are far apart in terms of Wi-Fi coverage. Main• 2x CONNECT:AMP (one with a Sub Mini wired directly to it, both wired, but only one AMP has Sonos Wi-Fi enabled)• 1x ERA 300 (I think this one only supports wifi?)• 1x St
When will we be able to playback just s single episode of a podcast within pocket cast.It adds the whole season every time .When will Sonos also mark it as played the next time you enter the cast? The above worked earlier in the good old app.
Ich betreibe einen Arc ultra und 2 era 300 bei tv Funktion stottert ein Lautsprecher immer wieder bei normaler Musikwiedergabe ist alles in Ordnung woran liegt das? Moderator edit:Google Translate-I have an Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300s. When using the TV, one speaker keeps stuttering. During normal music playback everything is fine. Why is that?
Volevo sapere se è obbligatorio avere WiFi per collegarmi al sonos? One . Oppure basta avere bluetooth grazie aspetto risposta.
At least once a week I am unable to use the search in the app. It appears as though it is going to search and then goes back to the Home Screen. Without fail I can search if I close and reopen the app. ********** is a recent Diag. Does anybody else experience this?Moderator edit: Diagnostic number recorded and removed
Hi,I recently purchased two era 100’s to add to my Arc Ultra and Sub 4 as surrounds. One issue I’m experiencing is that with certain PCM/Stereo sources e.g. Skynews on YouTube it constantly tries to passthrough the audio to the surrounds but it is not consistent and I get on/off sounds which is actually very annoying. For the most part I do not have this issue and if I listen to France24 it does not try passthrough the audio to the surrounds. Why is there this inconsistency when listening to Stereo/PCM sources and is there any way to correct it other than having to disable the surrounds when listening to such sources? I would prefer and expect stereo sources to not try use the surrounds at all.Thanks.
So basically whenever I play Spotify on my Sonos speakers some features don’t work as intended. It will play the wrong songs and doesn’t let me disable the shuffle mode.I also can’t rewind or fast forward songs (the bar is greyed out)It’s as if it wouldn’t recognize I have Spotify Premium. This started happening only a few days ago when it had been working just fine before. Some help would be appreciated :)
The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a 5-channel soundbar. It outputs sound corresponding to the L, C, R, Ls, Rs channels. If you add rear speakers such as the One SL to the soundbar, it will change to a 7.1 system. If you pair the rear speakers, the rear speakers will be in charge of the Lrs, Rrs channels. The soundbar will be in charge of L, C, R. The question is then. Will the Ls, Rs channels still be routed to the soundbar? Or will they be routed to the rear speakers?
Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:Like many of us, my sonos cannot search on NAPSTER indicating "the connection to NAPSTER has been lost". I have done everything that was recommended and nothing works. These cumbersome operations are annoying and much more complicated than other connected speakers.... Please find a solution.
I installed a new network for my Sonos system. All components are now on the new network, except for the Amp. In order to reinstall the A mp, Sonos asks for an 8 digit PIN from the AMP. My Amp doesn’t have an 8 digit PIN and Sonos support is worthless tp help. They keep telling me to enter the PIN, which I don’t have. Apparently when I bought my Amp it didn’t have a PIN, but now they do. What can I do? Without it, my external speakers don’t work any more.
Hi Sonos friends, I’m new here in this forum and have a question to you. I just bought an Arc Ultra and now I wonder what is the best way to enjoy my Tidal lossless music on it: 1. Using the Tidal service within the Sonos app (either on iPhone or on Android, I have both) and stream Tidal through the Sonos app to the Arc Ultra or 2., using the Tidal mobile app (either on iPhone or on Android) and stream lossless music via Bluetooth to the Arc Ultra? What type of connection support Dolby Atmos, if at all? Are there other or better ways to connect? My current installation in the room concerned: TV connected to Sonos Arc Ultra by Arc-HDMI (TV is too old for e-Arc), plus one Sonos Sub and a very fast Wifi / LAN), iPhone, iPad and Android phone with most recent OS and most recent flagship hardware, all have Tidal and Sonos apps installed. My TV has neither Tidal nor Sonos app installed. My goal: I want to have best TV sound and best music sound from Tidal streaming services, I’m also conside
Is there a way to set up night sound to turn on and off at certain times of the day?
I have like 4 roams 6 ones 1 play at amplifier boost and there is not a week almost not one day when one or two or all have a problem or are not working. Interrupted music. Speaker don t appear. Speaker gone from the system. Voice control react with a big delay (up to ½ day. He suddenly starts talking). Tuning is gone or suddenly the connected speaker (home cinéma) are not synchronised etc. Without any action music start in the middle of the night. Or suddenly volume goes up or down none of the functions are reacting. I have to shut down the electricity to stop it. I m in contact with sonos support almost every week. I have another system in another flat (much cheaper) and that is working perfectly or even better. My 20 year old Bose in my studio is working 10 x better. Regret to have invested so much money for poor quality (music that is)
Over several months the connection between my Sonos Connect and Roam and mobile phone has been dropping. The connection would reasonably quickly resume with the various apps that had disappeared from my mobile refound. Over time the loss of connectivity got worse with the Connect cutting out completely and showing an intermittent red flashing light. I did a complete factory reset of everything with Sonos support over an hour. This seemed to resolve the problem over a couple of days, but lo and behold it dropped the connection again and the red flashing light resumed. I have done another factory reset and got it all playing again for 5 mins before it cut out again. Am now getting very frustrated. Any thoughts please?
all of a sudden i pick a playlist and it loads over and over. the one on right now is 110 songs long but the queue shows about 43,000 songs. i only have 13,000 songs in my entire library. help? and can anybody explain when these people are going to fix things like being able to use the alphabet to find items?
I have my alarm set to play a non-commercial, non-Sonos iHeart radio station (Classical KING FM Seattle 89.7), and it was working perfectly until recently. Now, instead of waking up to music, I’m forced to listen to a Sonos ad for the first minute before my station starts. This is completely unacceptable. I don’t want to start my day with a jarring Sonos commercial, especially since I’ve already purchased your speaker system. Isn’t that enough? Now you’re trying to push even more products or subscriptions on me through my alarm? Can’t a simple alarm function without corporate nonsense getting in the way? If this is the new norm, I’ll go back to an old-school radio and alarm clock instead.
