Hola, ¿puedo conectar 2 era 100 a mi amplificador análogo Yamaha 5.1 ? Agradezco respuesta.
I have assigned IPs to each speaker and they connected for 1 day. This morning I opened the app only to find “no products found”. In system settings it tells me to “update network “ which finds both speakers, connects to the WiFi, only to revert back to “no products found. I did this routine 3 times and still have no music. What is wrong with this scenario?
Sometimes after a Sonos update (such as the current one that’s available now) you may see in System Settings that a component is not connected. The warning may appear even though there was no “Update Failed” screen at the end. Unless you can readily identify the room containing the component discovery may be a PITA 😂Sonos suggests following the steps in this link. Those steps can appear a bit daunting at times. Especially, if you have several Sonos components of the same type. Here are some steps you can try that are less time consuming and may yield quicker results:Wait a few minutes to see if the component(s) reappears and the warning goes away Close the Sonos app and Reopen It Stop the Sonos app and Restart it _iPhone users click here / Android users click here Start a music stream to the room via Spotify, Apple Music, SirusXM or other service to awaken the component If none of the above resolve the issue then follow the steps suggested by Sonos in the link above * * Never Factor
This is the email I’ve sent to the CEO in response to his message from yesterday - please show your support if you agree. Dear Mr Spence,Thank you for this email and public acknowledgment of the incredible challenges SONOS have caused to their loyal customers who usually have several of your products at home. I appreciate the efforts your company is undertaking to fix all the bugs as quickly as possible, nevertheless there is one point that I believe does not receive sufficient attention i.e. your decision to block support for local libraries over SMBv1.Indeed, it might not be the latest standard and it has some vulnerabilities, but in isolated environments like local home networks of majority of your customers these vulnerabilities do not pose material threat because a) there is no access to internal network from outside and b) the only content that would get potentially compromised is the music library, so really nothing confidential. My case is as follows - I have my local Sonos lib
No connection at all this am to any room or devices #quiet house #sonos junk FIX IT!
As the Sonos app is now completely useless I gave up on workarounds etc. I run all my music from a Mac and I discovered an app called REMOTE in the Apple app store , downloaded it and hey presto it works, I can play all my music through my Sonos system using my iPhone and iPad. It works better than the old donor App. Hope it works as well for anybody who tries it.
HelloAs most you know who may have read my posts and/or commented in others; I am a staunch supporter of a well structured network to get the optimum performance/UI experience with Sonos. In fact there are a lot of you who disagree that IMO quite a few issues being experienced with Sonos since the app refresh are due to network configuration. However, that’s a debate for another time. What I want to speak on today concerns the value of setting Reserve (Static) IP addresses for Sonos components. Here’s my recent real life experience that I hope will convince you that setting reserve/static IP Addressees for Sonos are worth your value time. Let’s begin…. *Two months ago my wife and I ordered new blinds for our home. The project was finally completed today (7/25/24). The first installation did not go well as the wife decided she had ordered the wrong color scheme.A couple of rooms had Sonos speakers placed in a position that restricted access to the windows. Therefore, I unplugged and remo
It doesn’t sync my speakers. There is a huge lag between adjusting volume and effect. Pressing pause or stop took more than 5 seconds to register. It’s utterly unintuitive and should never have been released. I can’t find out how to downgrade - surely this is possible?
At this point my 20-unit Sonos system is useless except for TV audio - at least the “app” didn’t break that. I have many thousands invested in players that are now essentially bricked because of a 100% non-functioning app as per yesterdays update (ios). I feel Sonos owes me big time on this. So either they compensate or they buy back their useless players from me at retail price. Who feels the same way?
We recently dug our Sonos 3 out of the closet (used only during our wedding) to start using it again but it will not update - and it states an update is necessary to use the device. Now I find out it’s not supported??
Since installing the updated app on our android phones, our Sonos system has gone berserk. Speakers randomly join or exit groups; random songs start playing on random speakers; the displays on our 2 phones show different sets of active songs/speakers, and neither of those match what I have on the master app on my Mac desktop; and the app simply stops doing whatever was commanded, in the middle of doing it. E.g., tried to bundle all the speakers in Party mode and half joined, then several of those promptly croaked.
I just want to tell Sonos that they f***ed massively with the new app. I am considering selling all my products. I have 16 products, including one, beam , IKEA, play bar, 3, 5, Era 300 etc. I am playing a record and can't low volume, it takes decades to go up or down. Right now it's been 7 times that the same song restarted after playing half of it. And don't start with the play button missing in the Deezer option. Now I can tell that I made a huge mistake buying all my music products od Sonos. I regret deeply. Sonos go back to the old app and don't touch it. If not, you will loose a 10 year loyal costumer.
I ordered the Ace head phone over 400$ since the 19th of July 2024 it is now the 25 and the tracking says it still has not been picked up by shipper. I bought them beliving I would receive them before my vacation 28th. Customer service is in the Phillipines, what a nightmare..never ordering direct from Sonos again.
Is anyone else having issues with Gapless playback after updating to 15.2? Scenario:I have been using a loopable track on Apple Music via the built in Sonos player to play sleep sounds every night for years. This created a seamless sound with Gapless playback. Problem:After the update to 15.2, there is a distinct gap between the end of the track and the beginning of the repeat making the feature unusable for sleep sounds. Fix NeededRestore previous function to allow Gapless playback on looped tracks.and/or Allow reverting to a previous firmware(Ideally allowing to revert by atleast two firmware revisions to allow people to experiment and see if a new update has fixed a previously experienced bug)
Here’s the fix to this issue: 1. Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android. 2. Navigate to Account > Content Services > Connected Services. 3. Select the service you wish to remove (Apple Music) 4. Select Remove Service. 5. Follow the on-screen prompts to remove the service from the Sonos system. After that, from the same Account tab select Content Services > Connected Services > Add Content Service > Choose the service to be added, and select Add to Sonos.
Hi everyone,I recently upgraded from the Sonos Playbase to a Sonos Arc, paired with 2x Sonos Play:3. While the overall sound quality is spectacular, I've noticed a specific issue: when people are talking, the sound from the Sonos Arc is more pronounced on the left side. After doing some research, I discovered that this seems to be a common issue with the Sonos Arc, possibly related to the placement of the tweeter on the left side (specifically for voices).Has anyone found a solution to this issue? Are there any upcoming software updates that might help balance the voice output? Thanks for your help!
I have owned Sonos equipment for 19years. Loved it filling my home and holiday home with the stuff. I am also in the trade and have recommended it to countless clients. WTF is this new app? It is atrocious. I can not operate it myself it is a total disaster. Am I on my own in this or is everybody disappointed?
Here’s what I learned from a helpful, patient Level 2 Sonos tech today after I called to report the fact that I cannot play any content from my music library through Sonos:Win 10, iOS app:The problem of not being able to play from clients’ music libraries is now officially recognised by Sonos. After the tech rebooted my Sonos system from her end, we both discovered that if any attempt is made to play from an imported playlist, the system will crash and will stay like that until it is rebooted again. If no attempt is made to play from an imported playlist after rebooting the system, it is possible to play music from other categories within the library, such as albums, songs, artists, etc., but only from the desktop app. The tech said this problem has emerged within the last week and there’s no timeline for fixing it...but she assured me that they are trying. This whole thing is such a disgrace, the worst consumer software meltdown I have experienced in thirty years and so it goes on.
Who designed this terrible app and WHY? I have many Sonos speakers and give them as gifts all the time. I am DONE with Sonos if they don’t fix this truly terrible app. Looking at different options and will switch if I have too. Not accepting this!
since the app was updated, all 4 of my speakers, including beam for TV either have trouble connecting or disconnect. I’ve had to disconnect the beam from my TV, as it shuts down during a program. Took me a minute to figure out that it was the sonos and not my TV.
I’ve just added a travel router to my apartment and would like to change the network used by my Sonos system, but I can only find out how to remove a network, not add one in the new app.
In my local library I have 125 Shostakovich albums. When I searched the results showed only 3. I think the search is for album not artist. Screenshot makes this clear.
There is an issue with the new sonos app (black emblem) on android device recognizing music selected to play, nothing happens. A fix to this was using the old (gold emblem) v2 application on desktop to select and play music. After doing this, the app (black emblem) on android device then recognized songs selected to play and functionality is back to normal. Not sure if this is a home network issue or the mobile application being a bug fest which it is, no where as near smooth as the previous (gold emblem) v2.
Hello, I still haven't updated my apps with the latest update (!?...) from SONOS, an app that still seems to cause huge quality and reliability problems for users.I AM A CAREFUL MAN IN MY ACTIONS AND COMMENTS.This morning, on my 2023 iPhone, the SONOS app is forcing me to apply this update!…The application is blocked!…Is it really elegant and commercial on the part of SONOS to impose its "work"?...I HOPE THE MODERATORS WILL NOT DELETE THIS POST, HAVING INVESTED HEAVILY IN A SONOS SYSTEM CONTAINING MORE THAN 7 SPEAKERS!...I wish you a good day.
Hi, Sonos Community. My husband received a Roam 2 as a gift and we were excited to add it to our existing Sonos system. We have a One (wired) and Play 1 (wireless) in our existing set-up and they work perfectly. We updated to the latest version of the Sonos App before we added the Roam 2 to our system. The connection process was smooth and the App sees the three speakers and says they are all connected. We are unable to play music from the Roam 2, however, and we’ve tried selecting it alone and grouped with the other speakers (which is how we would almost always use it.) When we select the roam we get an “Unable to connect. Please try again later message” Again, our One and Play 1 are working perfectly.I spent an hour on hold last night with customer service (no agent event answered) and have tried the live chat mutliple times (the bot keeps saying there are no agents available) so this is my last shot at resolving the issue before we return the speaker. We already have an ama
